> Tensions between Sunrise Colony and Primeval Pact are on the rise as the season changes to Twilight Season and, very soon, to Moonlight Season. The Pact have begun their travel to Woodland Expanse in which Sunrise Colony calls their home. Whether the two alliances keep things civil is up to *you.*

> As we approach the Moonlight Season, Sunrise colony will be celebrating their Casting of the Winter Stone. As they stock up on fish and fill their bellies, cats of all ages will participate in the feline version of ice hockey as they rejoice the ending of one season and the beginning of the next.

> The Kindred prepare for the coming change in season by preparing for the Night of Remembrance. This takes place during the beginning of the Moonlight Season, where they will honor and remember the suffering of their ancestors. All members fast for the full day, and not a word is spoken out of respect for the lost souls.

> Meanwhile in the city, those who call it home still live on edge. The Mayor, as always, rules with an iron fist and those too weak to survive will surely be run off if they haven't already suffered from a fate worse than death. These scavengers are hostile and perhaps it is time they expand the area in which they control. Only time will tell.

Head crafter of the Colony, responsible for directing the construction of the rafts they use to dive for fish. Gruff and stoic, this cat has learned much about the nature of life. Seems unapproachable, but perhaps has a soft side for family?

The Kindred | Mystic | 35 moons

Star-gazer of The Kindred, reading prophecies in nature to guide their kin's paws. The have expertise in the sparse mountain herbs that grow in their unforgiving home. Sibling to the Matriarch, and best described as surprisingly flippant. They quarrel with their sibling more often than not.

1st Deadline for High Rank Adopts!

Our 1st High Rank selection process will end at midnight CST TONIGHT! Anyone who submits a high rank adopt application by the deadline and is approved will receive the high rank that they applied for (unless there are multiple applications for the same high rank). Those with multiple applicants will be discussed between the applicants before approving, and you will have an option for a 2nd pick.

If all the High Ranks are not taken by the deadline, we will be making a 2nd wave deadline of 6/27. If there are any remaining after this 2nd deadline, staff will have their pick of another high rank so we can get the roleplay started!

Mayor | Law of Bone | Name up to Adopter Black and White with Polydactyl front paws. Any Gender. 36 Moons. Inheritor of the position from their father, an act that has caused much resentment in the City. Still, they rule with grace and cruel efficiency.

Council | Law of Bone | Name up to Adopter Pure White Longhair. Any Gender. 32 Moons. The enforcer. Powerful enough to sway a room in mere seconds. However, they hold resentment for the other member of the Mayor's Council due their... perceived closeness.

Council | NOT UP FOR ADOPTION | Scythe Tortoiseshell with a jagged scar on her muzzle. She/Her. 30 Moons. Smart as a whip, and she knows it. Sunrise Colony

Lakeside | Spiritual | Friendly

A relaxed colony of cats that has made their home along the lake shore. All cats that are part of the group have inherited an ancestral name that has passed down from generation to generation. But this doesn't mean they are opposed to outsiders, and many newcomers have been allowed into their ranks. The Sunrise Colony has also mastered basic crafting, and it is with this crafting ability that they have honed their hunting style. Small rafts are floated across the lake, and the individuals deep dive beneath the surface for their prey. Current Conflict... A new group has appeared, calling themselves "Primeval Pact." Sunrise has welcomed them with open paws, even encouraging attendance at The Gathering. But now they have moved into the Woodland territory West of camp, laying claim to the area in the prey sparse Twilight Season. Will Sunrise Colony gracefully accept their presence a few Moons a year, or will they lash out to protect the territory they have walked for generations?

The Kindred

Mountains | Matriarchal | Strict

A strict, matriarchal society that is led by the Matriarch and her Patriarch as second in command. Living high in the peaks of the Secluded Massif, where the only reliable prey is snow hares, hawks, and owls. Their life is dangerous, and starvation or injury is common. Which has led to the group being rather hostile to strangers on their territory. They also have a rather odd rule… only the Matriarch is allowed to have kits, in order to give one litter the strongest surviving chance after generations of watching their young perish in the unforgiveable landscape they call home. Will this ever change? That's up to the roleplayers to decide.

Current Conflict... 17 Moons ago the previous Matriarch was forcefully removed from her position, age and the faltering strength of her last litter pushing a small collective of The Kindred to act. Now there is a new Matriarch who rules with iron claws and a sharp tongue, but unrest simmers amongst the Kin of the Alliance. Whispers of discontent with their way of life and the restrictions placed on the entirety of the Kin. Will there be a civil unrest? Or will the Matriarchy hold fast to their rule?

An elder whose name is a moniker given to them by a group of apprentices who loathed dealing with his ticks, or spending any time at all in his den. It is now what most of the Clan calls him.

A chipper daylight warrior, Julianwhisker is often seen donning his signature harness. He is a dedicated hunter, and one of the fastest cats in his Clan.

Flintskip ($10) - OPEN - Flintskip is a black and white cat! Their balance isn’t the best due to their cropped tail, but they’re too stubborn to let that stop ‘em!
