slow progres... make everything in the code nice...
chests have time lock (can open only every e.g. 15 minutes) and can hold random items --> keeps curiousity up :)
new repository
giving it a fresh start: https://github.com/gitbreaker222/virttruhe
backbone.js and gulp
in the mean time I’ve started to learn backbone to organize the data structure. For that I can recommend the videotutorial on Joe Zim's JavaScript Blog.
Also I've started to use task management (e.g. compiling scss to css) for my projects with gulp - a node.js plugin. To get into it, this tutorial on css-tricks is a good starting point. But watch out for the optimization part with useref, as the code is a bit outdated and got more simple. Check the official docs for this issue.
development paused
I’m currently digging into advanced html5 webapp technologies and have therefore put VIRTTRUHE aside. But I’ll return with new skills to get this to the next level :)
Watch development - Live Demo
after one week development from scratch of version 0.5 alpha. This time it even comes close to my sketches :)
new UI sketch
UI scribbles, loosing myslf in details
A list items for various cases (collect, combine parts, handle music, crime investigation story)
digging more into HTML5 game dev
For the past few days I was doing some research on audio usage in HTML5-Apps and came across www.html5gamedevs.com.
Ruby on Rails
...so I’ve started to learn Ruby (at codecademy), so I can use Ruby on Rails, so I can use the Foundation Framework and Aptana Studio more efficiently!
That means I will rewrite the whole VIRTTRUE App ones again to fit the Rails architecture.
I’m looking forward to generate derivates of VIRTTRUHE more easy that way and start to show whats in my mind *g*
hey ruben, i really like the idea, i mean the whole augmented virtuality stuff in a game... bravo! but you need to consider to working with designers at some point because your presentation skills literally sucks, mate! hehe no offense, just kidding. no actually not :) but hey, ride on!
Thx for the feedback :) yeah I know that this whole presentation is more chaos and hard to understand but I had the choice of putting my focus on concept development or software development. Well I rather wanted to learn to develop apps by myself and therefore presentation is just a side product. Anyway I publish it to simply grow some routine in this too...

Out of sight, out of mind
Huge piles of data and digital contents, which usually only can be scrolled through as long lists, displayed on a screen.
So much, that one doesn’t want to keep and manage it locally, so just leaving it. And the data that is stored though, like all the holiday photos, are only hoarded but hardly used.
Out of sight, out of mind.
