I can dream of a life much smaller than my own.

Of a life comprised only of the shells on the shore and the foam

On the crest

Of a wave.

Stare amazed.

At man made modern marvels.

And feel no desire to be a part of.

But to only be an observer.

On the outside.

Small and complete.
