I'm a Polish illustrator and mixed media artist, my background is in graphic arts. I love history, folklore, and the esoteric. I post my personal work here most of the time, but I'm also available for commercial and private projects.

Occasionally, I share a convention booth with my boyfriend @beidak-art :-) That's the only way to get my prints, stickers and lino at the moment - an online shop is in the works.

who is the person drawn with rose and what's their relationship?

That would be Kurt! He's the charismatic swindler type. He's @beidak-art's character for the same campaign. (Though, what I'm about to write isn't really meant to be canon to the campaign, it's just for fun. If our gm reads this: we just got carried away talking about them, forgive me...)

Rose and Kurt are coworkers first and foremost, but they have a somewhat murky friends-with-benefits dynamic as well. Kurt is not a trustworthy business partner, but he is a pretty trustworthy friend (at least to Rose) - and he consistently picks up the pieces when she needs to be carried out of a brothel after one too many porters. Trust does funny things to people in a world where it's so rare.

She's annoyed with the fact she's into him (she usually only pursues women, despite being bi), and I think he finds that funny. He is a go-with-the-flow type of man, so he kind of stumbled into this, but he does care about her to a degree. They are both allergic to commitment.

Are Bogna's garments based on a certain ethnic group/culture or are they of her own fruition?

The skirt + necklaces combo she wears most of the time (no shirt) is just whatever she's able to make herself living in the bog. As for her garments, there's some slavic vibes in there, but obviously it's nothing concrete. I loosely see it as a consequence of her traveling and visiting neighboring countries + meeting strange people before she settled down in Masuria. She is supposed to stick out and look very different from "regular" village women.

She wears red coral necklaces in some art [which is a Polish tradition for women], but this is not even a little bit historically accurate, I just like the look of it.

The most clothes-like outfit she wears is an almost 1:1 reference to this art by Ivan Bilibin, which I like very much :-)

I'll take this silly ask as an excuse to give praise to Tiny Glade... I've got 20+ hours in it and it's pretty charming. I've never before (or since) played a game that promised to help with anxiety and actually did that.

The visuals and noises that the building/putting stuff down makes is very nice. The lighting is beautiful. I enjoy the way you can try to tell a story with the scenes/places you build. There's not much to it but I do enjoy it a lot.

just curious, why would you want to sell prints of a commissioner's oc?

I would be selling prints of my artwork - which depicts an oc. (And again, only with consent from the client.) I don't think it's strange the same way I don't think it's strange I'd want to include commissions in my portfolio - it's my art, that I am proud of. It's part of my body of work.

I absolutely don't mean to say everyone has to accept my terms (and like I said, I'm happy to make accommodations), but, well, I think that's the best way I can explain it.

I’m for sure interested in your commissions, but I’m a little worried about this point:

“I retain the rights to the produced artwork, meaning I can post it, display it anywhere, use it for promotion, and print it (artbooks/prints).”

Being able to post or display the artwork I get, and even an artbook I could understand if it’s in with a bunch of other commissions, but prints? What, like you might sell prints of your drawing of the commissioner’s oc? That seems odd to me.

I understand your concern, of course. So l'll say right away that I do ask for the client's consent first if I want to use a commission for an art print, since I also feel this is more focused on a particular image/character than, say, an artbook of my work.

That said, in ordering a commission from me, you do have to accept that I have full copyright of the image - I am not selling the rights to it. Hence that point in my rules. I am very open to any requests/preferences, though, including not printing a commission, not posting it before a certain date (for gifts, for example) and so on. There's a box in my form for "notes" or you can always contact me directly :-)

I will also adjust my rules to outwardly state that I will ask first about art prints.

Thank you! I love getting a glimpse at a relationship between two characters from a client, and then trying to capture that in a drawing. It's one of my favourite things about commissions.
