Remember when

Remember when our moms used to run us down to get us to bathe,

Remember when we used to make pretend snow out of styrofoam,

I guess the memories started to fade,

From out little hard headed doams.

Remember when we used to make pies out of mud,

Remember when we used to hide under the tables,

I guess those memories were just a dud,

Or just little fables.

Remember when we used to sneak out to go to parties,

Remember when we used to have a silly little crush,

I guess we weren't much of smarties,

Oh how that gave us a rush.

Remember when we used to skip class to hang out with the cool kids,

Remember when we used to walk to the other school to see our lovers,

I guess those kids were just mids,

Oh the scolding we used to get from our mothers.

Remember when we did all those stuff,

Oh how I reget it now,

Now we're all puff,

And we'll be down with one pow.

Now we're old with all the worries in the world,

Oh how I wished we were normal kids,

But I'm glad we have those memories,

So that I can say we lived a interesting life.

The Cold Hard truth

I watch you from afar,

As I touch my scar,

The scar you left behind,

Causing me to rewind.

To a time where worries weren't a thing,

A time where we used to make promise rings,

A time of our youth,

Before the Cold Hard truth.

Oh how it was a good time,

But you acted like a mime,

Too fake to recognise,

It's like a disguise.

Only for you to turn back to me,

Acting like you didn't flee,

From our friendship,

Only for you to again dip.

Your reality is too blurred to see,

This monstrosity,

A malignant democracy,

And the school as your monarchy.

But that won't last,

As I will surpass,

And take the power you possess,

And make you confess.

To the things you did to me,

How you choose to flee,

In my time of need,

I will make you pay for your evil deed.
