Untamed Ch 9 Snip Clip

"Are you hurt?" He exhaled, concerned and groggy from being ripped out of deep sleep.

Em. You're a klutzy goon! Why why didn't you stay where you were? It was safe... This..  She grumbled inwardly.  Desperate to ignore the warm hands against her body, and not to mention how freakin stupid she must look right now! UGH!!!!! This is not safe... far far from it.

"Emma?" He said, Gingerly running a thumb over her jaw; an uncompromising heat sparked where he'd touched. The unexpected contact forced her eyes to snap open in alarm, driving her gaze to unwillingly collide with his.

Joon blinked slowly as his eyes adjusted to her. That stare. Intense, alluring...magnetic; impossible to look away from. He studied her like a predator does to its prey, watching every move she made.

"Yes... No... I'm fine." She blurted anxiously, aspiring to wiggle from his grip. A futile task. The strength in his forearms alone could crush her.  She sighed frustrated and extremely uncomfortable.

"You sure?' His question lingered in the air.  Was she okay? At this point in time, she didn't even know.

Twisted Nether Book 1

AU: Kyuhyun fan fiction/ FT Suju members. Supernatural Romance.

He could hear her footsteps approaching when the door swung open unexpectedly. “Hey! Are you even…”

She turned the corner and stopped so abruptly that her tennis shoes squealed against the faded tile floor. Her eyes widened in shock, timidly she raised her slender hand to cover her slightly parted lips. Her breath rasped softly as a cherry flush colored her cream skin from her cheeks to the collar of her rose-tinted sundress. Slowly she pushed her chocolate braid from her shoulder and dipped into a respectful bow.

       “I’m sorry. I didn’t know you were here,” She apologized nervously.

Kyu raised his brow. At closer inspection, he realized that this was the woman from the crowd. She was real…A rush of relief swept over him like a wave of water. Thank goodness. He wasn’t losing his mind.

She was stunning, possessing distinct classic and elegant features of an era long passed. Blessed with large bright eyes, shining with exotic jade hue he had never seen before; they hid playfully behind long lush lashes. She shifted uncomfortably, smoothing imaginary wrinkles in her pink dress that fit her perfectly. He said nothing, completely lost in his own mind.

         “Did you understand me?” She asked softly biting her lip. Her appearance became more distressed, as she twisted her fingers around a cap of a bottle of water that she had been holding. Nervously she cleared her throat and attempted her statement again.

Hundreds will die so his wife and two sons could live... The real question Sway was asking was, "What are you willing to do to bring back the people you love?" The answer was simple, anything.  Nate didn't have to think twice about it. The world had been nothing but cruel to him since the day he was born. His only light was that he found a beautiful woman who loved him, all of him; even his faults. Then this pure angel gifted him, two wonderful sons. They were the only thing that mattered.

" I don't owe the world any favors." Nate finally replied, sluggishly he climbing to his feet. " My family is the only thing that matters to me."

Sway sighed raising up to meet him. " Alright then, Do we have a deal? You work for me and I will grant your request."

Nathan held out his hand without hesitation. " Deal."
