While staying on Dhiffushi you will have access to a wide variety of activities including watersports and excursions such as turtle snorkelling, dolphin watching and romantic sandbank visits to name a few. Watersports start from approximately $10 per person and the average excursion price is $35 per person.

All the accommodation providers can book any of the activities for you or you can of course make your own arrangements. Additionally, some have free equipment and or their own setup.

Velana International Airport, also known as Malé International Airport, previously known as Ibrahim Nasir International Airport, is the main international airport in the Maldives. It is located on Hulhulé Island in the North Malé Atoll, nearby the capital island Malé.

To get to Dhiffushi you will have to travel by sea as there is no seaplane service. This is achieved by using the local slow ferry service which is around $3 per person and takes approximately 3 hours or one of fast speedboat ferry services at $35 per person taking approximately 45 minutes or if you wish to treat your self, you can arrange a private speedboat transfer which cost from $150 per boat upwards.

This is currently the largest property offering holiday accommodation on the island. Its a modern hotel offering rooms with en-suite   some of which have their own sauna, over 4 floors. They also have a quaint little spa as well as offering local and international cuisine to their guests. The hotel has it's own watersports and providers excursions.

Dhiffushi has a few restaurants serving both guests and locals as well as some cafés and a kiosk all serving local and international cuisine. Many of the guest houses and hotels also are more than happy to welcome those who are not guests of their own to sit down and enjoy their offerings. On average you can expect to pay $15 for a 2/3 course meal.
