       ❛   Well —- if I cannot be found in the gym, or working on a design in my studio, then I’m usually found here. I’ve put a lot of time & dedication in to my garden, as have my pokemon.   ❜       Even as she speaks, gentle padding could be heard as Sylveon makes her way to Valerie’s guest, a  DAHLIA  carefully caught between her teeth. Ducking her head, the fairy-type places it before Aria.         ❛   She’s giving it to you.   ❜ 

     “Aw, well isn’t that sweet!” Aria would take the small flower by the stem, a wide smile offered to Sylveon in response. It was absolutely gorgeous, just as everything in the garden happened to be. It was clear that Valerie had put in so much care and time into everything planted there; to be such a good gardener alongside being a renowned gym leader and fashion designed was more then enviable. “I have to say, I’m pretty jealous! You do so much with your time, and all of it seems to turn out so amazing too...”

     ❛❛ It disappoints me that people are actually fooled by your disguise. ❜❜ Natsume did not mince her words, though she did not elaborate. Being in public as they were, she was willing to respect the other woman’s desire to go unrecognized. The psychic also did not wish to be caught up a hysteria sparked by the presence of the Queen of Kalos.

    To the other’s words Aria would simply offer a faint smile, a sigh escaping her lips as it seemed that no one had overhead them. “A-Aha, yeah, I guess this disguise isn’t exactly what you would call very discreet... but I guess it’s being seen in regular clothing rather than the ornate showcase dresses that help the most...!”

         ❛   Beautiful, isn’t it ? This is my pride & joy.   ❜      Her  GARDEN,  flush with the beauty of spring flowers coming into bloom. A place that provides her comfort & solace when necessary, Valerie can often be found tending to the flora when not at the gym or in her design studio. She’s prideful of her garden, hence why she enjoys showing it off to others.

                       “It sure is! I can’t say I’ve EVER seen a garden so vibrant.”       Aria was well aware of the fact that Laverre city embraced the idea of nature’s beauty, but even among the pleasant scenery Valerie’s garden stood out. Her gaze would shift from one section of greenery to the next, no part of the area without something pleasing to look at.       “Do you spend a lot of time here? I can’t imagine the amount of work it must take to keep it looking as nice as it does....”

        Siebold should have known! With a profession like this,         practice BEGS here year-round. & with the title as       [QUEEN ], Aria is needing to be vigorous over         her training to protect the title.  This was it, Aria was one         that was the face of the youth in Kalos that gives him       faith, as she withheld beauty & class.

        “But of course! I made sure to have gotten the best seats         in the venues when possible! And truth be told, you are         absolutely correct, the performances were STUNNING!         However, in the following year, I will NOT be sitting and         watching. Meaning, I shall be taking up mentoring. So,         it is in your best interest to bring your most spectacular         performance if you plan on defending your title well!”         & with the competitive nature of Siebold, he will NOT be         one to fail in training a showcase princess well. His student         will be one of the BEST performers to set foot on stage,         he thinks.

     If there was one thing that Aria could certainly appreciate,  it was confidence. She had nothing but the utmost of respect  for anyone and everyone that was competing against her in  the respective showcases, but she entered each and every  one with the intentions of coming out on top.

     “Oh, I’m so glad that you were there! I was focused mostly  on my performance, obviously, but the glimpses I caught of  the other’s were nothing short of magical. You going in as a  mentor, though... I’m sure that whoever it is you choose to  support will be well trained, more so than maybe anyone  else in the event... but I’ll STILL be more than prepared,  you can count on it. If you don’t mind me asking though, why  choose to take up mentoring? You’re MORE than renowned at  both cooking and training.”

“Well in that case, it would be an honor if you’d came along! I mean, everyone likes some time alone but when you can be alone with your friends its a hundred times better.”

Aside from trying to be polite Bonnie would hang him from his jumpsuit if he didn’t invite Aria with them.

“It’s this really great shop where they sell the most decadent chocolate cake I’ve ever tasted. It’s in limited quantity though so If we don’t want to end up sharing a slice we should hurry.”

             “Well... if it really isn’t that big of a bother, then I’d LOVE to come along!”      With all that said, Aria couldn’t help but give a wide grin towards the other; it’d felt like forever since she’d been able to move around in as lighthearted and flat out silly a manner as she could with Clemont as his friends.      “Oh, if I’d known then I would have called ahead; not too many shops would refuse to set aside a few samples of their products if the Kalos Queen was going to try them in person. Though... trying to race the clock is a bit of the fun!”

“Suit yourself! The ones Serena makes for Pikachu are really good.”

Pikachu chirped in agreement through a full mouth. Then again they were naturally biased, some of Ash’s other friends had liked to joke that he was practically a Pokemon.

     “Oh, Serena made those Pokepuffs? Wow.... I’m not hungry for one myself, but maybe I’ll save one for my Pokemon later!”        Aria could only chuckle lightly as the other continued eating on the meal; he certainly seemed to be in tune with his Pokemon if he was willing to even eat the food designed for them!

“It was the same for me when I started out with the Gym. I thought it would be easy, just have a couple of battles and hand badges or not..but I soon realized that wasn’t the case. I had to respect those that came to my Gym and offer advice to help them grow. 

For if they grow so did the Gym.”

“I actually never realize how similar things are..heh. So what were your plans for the day? I was going to this amazing baked good shop to pick up some pastries. Would you like to accompany me?”

     “That’s pretty much how it went for me too... er, except with certain things that performers have to go through. Every performer has to have a great amount of drive to get anywhere in the showcases, but even the most dedicated person can find the amount of practice and preparation you need to be a bit much.        Say, that sounds really nice actually! I didn’t have any plans set in stone... a day away from the lights was pretty much the only thing I was looking for. ”

“Oh I know, seeing Serena train and meeting all those wonderful competitors really showed that no matter what type of dream you have, the communication and love between your Pokemon and your self really is universal.” 

Looking back at Bonnie, which had thankfully been distracted by Luxray carrying her around he smiled.

“I think anything that supports respect and friendship as well as showing the beauty of Pokemon and their ingenuity is worth admiring.”

“And about the “Me day” I fully understand, sometimes I like to get out of the Gym or my lab and have some alone time.. though its mostly always cut short because of big brother responsibilities.”

     “Exactly! It doesn’t matter what it is you’re aspiring to be; if you want it with all your heart and have a connection with your Pokemon they’ll support you with everything they have.”        The thought alone was enough to bring a wide smile to Aria’s face... she’d made her name and displayed that very connection through Pokemon showcases, but never would she offer her advice exclusively to performers. After all, bonds between humans and Pokemon surpassed just about any one category.        “But I bet that if you thought long enough about it, you wouldn’t have it any other way. Believe me, when I was first starting out I complained about EVERY responsibility I had, whether it was training or costumes or... anything! Aha, I guess I lucked out by having a patient mentor...”

“Yeah..honestly if she hadn’t recognized you I wouldn’t have either. It’s a great disguise.”

“I thought you only did showcases, never saw you for the battle type. I was incredibly surprised.”

     “Do you really think that? Thanks! I totally love my fans, but everyone just needs a ‘me day’ once in a while...” Achieving the title of Kalos Queen had certainly done wonders for Aria, but even she could do with a bit less of the attention that came with it from time to time.        “If you think about it, battling and performing aren’t really that different! Performers teach their Pokemon great moves to put on a display of a lifetime, and trainers do it to get an edge over their opponent. And of course, both require you to be perfectly in tune with your Pokemon if you want to do great!”

No. No that’s probably not why he’s getting strange looks. Despite how many times he’s been told, Ash still doesn’t quite grasp that people don’t usually eat Pokemon food. 

Why shouldn’t he share a couple of Pokepuffs with Pikachu? Pikachu gets to share his ice cream. It’s only fair.

     A trainer that ate Pokepuffs.... Aria had seen just about every quirk possible in the performers that took the stage, and it seemed as though the same applied to trainers as well. Offering a small smile, she would wave her hands lightly in dismissal.                                 “O-Oh, that’s so sweet but.... but I just ate!”
