Finally, some of that obnoxious winter cold was beginning to dissipate. At least, with her in his arms, it was. Nothing but relief filled his system, his eyes closing as he merely rested in her grasp—a moment’s rest. Now that he thought about it…they should head to bed, shouldn’t they? Early. Together. Just the thought was enough to get him to open his eyes and actually give her a smile.
A simple little one only she may see. For this was Petra—his Ginger—the person who kept him rooted.
”Demanding?” he lets the word be tested, before finding himself shrugging, “I don’t care what it’s called. I just want you with me.” She made a very good point—time was indeed being wasted. Too much time! His hands slipped down from her hair, his shoulders slugging off his jacket.
Slowly ease off all the extra weight of his job…
”Just spend the night with me. Just one, please.” Levi replies, already removing most of his uniform with ease; rather than putting it in a normal place, of course, he merely discards it next to the bed. That’s for later…
Circles from her thumb were being made onto his firm cheek, getting the touch of his skin back into her system. The rigid structure of his face went well with her tenderness of the tip of her digits. Seems like it's been forever since they made physical contact with one another and now, they are just clasping each other. Night was about to set and the two should be heading into their room together.
Months have passed since they held each other in the same bed. No scent of his as she woke up and no hot tea that was waiting for him by the time he woke. It turned into a daily routine until work started to take a huge toll on each other.
However, the little smiles to one another at meetings. Hands making contact as they stood one another. Just the little things kept Petra at a solid ground.
"Tonight will be our night. Let's cherish every moment that we have, yes?" Suggesting with a soft tone, optics began to open up slowly. Mesmerizing his features, the girl could just stare at him for days. Weeks. Months. Years. For eternity.
After all, they promised one another to stay by each other's side. That was a promise she refused to let be broken.
