I've seen your sick animations! How long does it take to make one, and what application do you use, if you dont mind me asking? (I want to make animations too but idk how to get started)
Thx man! Usually I take less than a day to complete a simple one but a big project (long form fully colored) takes multiple days assuming I put most of my time into animating
I use toon squid (which does use money to download and only works on IPad) but toon squid doesn’t have a green screen removal feature nor can you edit audio (minus cutting it down) so for those jobs I use cap cut!
Most animation softwares especially on mobile have been pretty closed off to new artists COUGH flip a clip COUGH but if you are on pc I suggest looking into artists that most likely r using pc cause the mobile animation and the pc animation world r two different beasts
Before I used toon squid I did use a mixture of Ibis paint (but this can be any drawing app) and capcut, basically: draw character make multiple drawings in the drawing app and put them together or you could make a drawing dismember it (ie. take limbs off separate body and head) put a green screen then use the tweening feature on CapCut
This isn’t exactly a thing you can just wing (From experience) so try watching some how to animate or tween videos
I know nobody asked but I draw on PC and you said to ask someone who draws on pc so ima just reblog this just because.
If you do draw on PC, you have a wide range of applications for drawing, such as Krita, Pencil2D, etc etc. But I personally recommend Firealpaca for drawing, Krita or Pencil2D for animation, and CapCut for Tweening (ik don't bully me)
I used to my mouse (do not recommend) but now I use a drawing tablet. The specifc one I use is the Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3).
Uhm, it is also art so ima include it, for 3d art, I use Blockbench and Mine-Imator CB, as well as Modelbench to make models rigged but I haven't used that much yet.
