Vivian’s comment made the older male smirk in response, a small shrug rolling off his shoulders “You caught me. Now you know my biggest secret. I can read minds. See that woman over there?” he questioned, discretely pointing at a woman walking past, high heels on and dog on a purse “That dog is asking for help as we speak, too much kale on it’s diet” he whispered, grinning as she kissed his cheek.
“Thai. There’s also a ramen place near, if you want. It goes with the weather so, you choose what we’ll have” he enthused, head pointing towards the car “I don’t have to be back at work for another three, four hours so we have all the time we need for you to tell me about your day. Did something happen to the kids?” he questioned, closing her door once she was inside his car and jumping onto his seat shortly after.
She grinned and looked toward the woman he mentioned. The poor dog had an awful sweater on -- and Vivian never understood why people went to these extends to dress their pets. It was cold, but not that cold. “Just his diet? Poor thing looks like a gobbling dressed like that.” Vivian exclaimed, only to burst into a laugher once her attention turned back to her friend.
“I’d rather have thai.. unless you really want ramen. I’m starving so much, I shouldn’t be picky about what we actually eat.” she mused, nodding her head at Alexander. “So, you’re all mine for the next four hours? Great. Shall the torture begin now?” she giggled, before hopping into the car and fastening her seatbelt on. “The kids were great.. it was the chef who got all weird today. He basically is asking to get punched in the face.”
