“Oh please, the boyfriends can join if they want.” She smirked, winking. “It’s more fun that way.” She giggled. When Vivi asked for a lap dance, she nodded. Pick a booth and I’ll give another go at turning you at least a little gay. Just a little,” she winked. “I’ll keep trying till it works.” She smirked.
vivi giggle along with her, thinking she would be the only person she would have threesome with. vivi took another shot before grabbing maggie’s hand and heading over to the first booth she saw. “baby, you are already succeeding.” she winked before sitting down on the chair. she was joking of course, vivi loved cock too much to ever let it go, but she would never deny a good time whether it be male or female.
Dewey turned around with a hint of surprise on his face upon seeing Viviana. For starters, she was a serpent. He’s brought her down to the station before. It was nothing she did. But she was entertaining a guy at the whyte wyrm who turned up dead and dumped into a river. A single bullet hole through the back of his skull. Dewey had reason to believe Viv was in on it but she didn’t budge and Demetri asked him to back off. He had a few underhanded deals with the serpents and wasn’t above taking bribes, and so he accepted Demetri’s request and 10k.
“You have a lot of nerve.” Dewey sighed, pulling a cigarette from his lips. The smoke he blew out was directed away from her face. The sheriff wasn’t trying to disrespect her in any way. She was okay as far as the serpents go. “I haven’t touched weed since I was, like, eighteen.” All throughout high school Dewey was a pothead. But he quit before he enlisted into the military. However, he was pretty stressed and could definitely use something besides cigarettes to take the edge off. “I’d ditch my post to hotbox with you if it’ll mean you’ll open up some more about Todd Blackwood. The guy you entertained… I still believe that was the last night he was seen alive.”
a lot of people think that because vivi hangs out with serpents and grew up with serpent parents she was a serpent, it wasn’t something she always denied. it was who here allegiance was with after all, but she wasn’t officially a serpent and she was open to any other path that could benefit her. dewey wasn’t someone vivi feared, she was often good with male cops and she knew someone like him was more laid back than most. plus, it helped that she knew he took a bribe in order to release her from interrogation. .
vivi smirked at his initial response, shamelessly grabbing the cigarette from him so she could take a drag. “then tonight should be exciting for you.” she said, not taking no for an answer. todd blackwood. she hadn’t heard that name in a while so it was a shock hearing him speak it so easily, but she didn’t let that shock show in her face, instead she took another drag before handing him back his cigarette. “off the record and you get no more than five questions. those are my terms, you can take it and have the best night of your life or you can leave it and spend the rest of your night miserable.”
Tatum was looking to drown out her sorrows and angsty-teen heartbreak when she sidled up next to Viviana at the bar, unbeknownst to Tatum at first. She recognized her (ironically) from Stu from when Tatum and Sidney went bar hopping with him and a few of his friends a couple months ago. At the time, Tatum was still dating Stu and could remember fuming with jealousy as he hit on other girls right in front of her. Why Tatum ever stayed with that asshat for so long she did not know. Or actually, she did know but that was some psychological babble she didn’t want to get into right now. She was hoping to drink and be merry with new friends that she’d likely make at the bar. Because drunk Tatum was as much of the life of the party as former High School Tatum. Over the last year or so, things changed but, she wasn’t planning on getting into all of that either.
“How about a make you a deal?” Tatum said to the other girl without looking at her just yet. She pilfered a rolled up blunt from her back pocket and offered it to her neighbor at the bar and when she finally met her eyes, she realized she recognized her. A little bit less now though considering the first time they met, Vivi had been showing way more skin. “It’s Vivi, right? I remember you from that one club we all went to. You worked there. Oh my god, small world.” Tatum let out a breathless laugh as she handed Vivi the joint, “This’ll help relax you and take your mind to less angsty places. By the way, I’ll also take that shot because I’m broke and you already said you’re paying.”
once vivi realized who she had offered shots to she couln’t help but smile, she remembers tatum from a couple months ago and had actually been thinking of tracking her down to grab some drinks. she wondered what ever happened with her and stu, she always knew he was a crap person, but she didn’t know much about their relationship. regardless, she was glad to see tatum, catching up with her will be the perfect way to get things of her mind.
“oh, my go- tatum?!” she exclaimed, greeting her with a kind smile. “yeah! that was a crazy night, i still actually go there sometimes for a few clients.” she said as she gladly accepted the rolled blunt from tatum. vivi laughed and signaled the bartender over. “get whatever you want girl.” she told her “i recommend the michelada here, it’s amazing, but if you’re looking to get fucked up, i would do aguardiente.”
cha - ching. he hadn’t been exactly right considering when he actually tilted his chin up to look at the girl , “ dame noire , fancy meeting you here. “ he flashed a fanged smile at her , “ quite perceptive of you , amour. you could spit and hit someone who was drunk during hellfest , non ? “ bastian waved his hand dismissively before standing straight and narrowing eyes at her , “ picking something up and need male protection ? what might that be you’re picking up , belle vie ? “ the frenchman purred with a knowing look on his face , smile curling across lips rather smug.
if it wasn’t for the alcohol in her system, vivi would’ve remembered to keep her mouth shut seeing as bastian was one of her dealers and she was about to pick up from someone who wasn’t him. a giggle escaped her as she mentally shamed herself. “well, my petite croissant,” vivi began.”i’m getting an 8 ball, i didn’t want to bother you because i figured you didn’t have that on you with all the cops around here.” she told him, hoping that he would understand. “but i mean if you got any on you we can just head to my car right now.” she laughed.
Maggie smirked, nodding. “Of course. You know I know exactly how to distract you, love.” She smirked, sighing dramatically. “But you are straight and that is a travesty.” She winked. “How about I buy the drinks, huh? Do you like my costume? I’m a sexy witch,” she smirked, mimicking a high pitched voice she would imagine a porn star would have.
vivi laughed at maggies suggestion. “it is a travesty, i will say that.” she replied, checking out her friends costume. “it’s really hot,” vivi complimented. “all these dudes better keep their girls close.” she winked at her, signaling the bartender for another round. “i’ll buy but you have to give me a lap dance.” vivi smirked.
if vivi wasn’t dancing she was more than likely always at the bar, taking shots of her favorite drink, aguardiente. hellfest was her favorite event of the year, it usually was most peoples favorite event of the year, but ever since that incident happened, nothing has really been the same. of course, everyone wanted to act like everything was the same, that was definitely what the government wanted everyone to think. vivi was also guilty of shrugging off the past, but it was something that was getting harder to do, she is inches away from having a meltdown. she downed another shot and turned to the person who was sitting beside her. “i’ll buy you a shot if you can distract me from my thoughts.” she said to them wanting to take her mind of everything.
Hell Fest used to be fun for Dewey growing up, he’d go every year with a group of friends, but he couldn’t do that anymore, on account of being the Sheriff. Now, he has to patrol the damn thing. Which really sucks for him because there’s no fun in that. Things weren’t always so strict when it came to monitoring others, but after the death of a girl inside the park a couple years back, the officers were put on a strict itinerary. The only upside was the attention Dewey would get from tourists who thought he wasn’t a real cop. There were a few girls who kept their eye on the sheriff after naming him “the hot cop.” However, as flattering as that was, Dewey kept his mind on Sidney. They may have had a fallen out but that didn’t mean he gave up on her. She never gave up on him, despite seeing him with other girls over the years. There were several times when she’d ignore him, and times when she’d freeze him out, but things always settled with them because at the end of the day they were still family to each other.
“Ugh.” Dewey let out the grumbling complaint after feeling a tap on his shoulder. He didn’t mean to sound so annoyed, but he’s already had several drunk, whiny sorority girls come up to him complaining about being stalked by a psycho. Duh, they came here to be scared, didn’t they? He couldn’t arrest people for doing their job. It wouldn’t be so bad if they weren’t sneaking in booze and drugs, making the frightening experience far more intense and seemingly real.
vivi hated to think that she stopped being scared of someone showing up and killing her. after all her father was murdered and there were countless deaths going on recently around miami. she should be worried and thinking more about her safety, but she wasn’t, she stopped fearing death a long time ago. so she kept living her life as she normally would, sleep, eat, party, drink, repeat, and tonight was no different. hellfest was the perfect excuse to get fucked up, but it made it hard to do so when everyone around her was so paranoid.
the festival was getting boring and she could be having much more fun in the comfort of her apartment, so she decided to leave. she couldn't believe she wasted her red riding hood costume on this, as she was heading out, she noticed dewey deep in thought. “you look annoyed and like you could use a drink.” she said to him, a smirk forming on her face. “or at least a hit of something,” she said, a chuckle escaping her. “if you were off duty, i’d tell you to ditch this place for 15 minutes so we could hotbox in my car.”
hellfast was maybe bastian’s favorite time of the year. he was a huge fan of halloween and all things flashy , so each time he attended his costumes grew more extravagant in their own way. this year he was dressed as the devil himself: fancy red and black patterned suit that cost way more than his rent that month , glittery black horns , a glinting crown , and a fucking pimp cane that hid an actual blade to top it all off. he had partied like there was no tomorrow and by the end of the night he was near desperate for someone to take home.
he was glancing around the bar after last call when he thought he recognized someone. he was quick to follow after them , catching up on the sidewalk he reached for their arm and dropped his head on to their shoulder , “ hang out with me.. s'il vous plaît. “ the drunker bastian got the more often he slipped into french which was his first language.
vivi had lost count at the amount of shot she had taken tonight, hellfest was a very special event in this town and nearly everyone was on the same level of fucked up as she was. she was finally able to gather herself enough to get up and start heading out. of course her party never ended, she was just getting ready to hit up her dealer for an even wilder night. as she walked away from the bar she felt someone hold on to her arm, stopping her from going any further. a small smile crept on her face as she saw who it was. “you’re drunk.” she laughed, even though she was too. “i have to pick something up, you’re more than welcome to come with me, i could use some male protection.” she told him.
ese had just gotten off her shift as a spooky haunted house go go dancer , she was still in her slutty wonder woman costume as she stood at the bar inspecting the shot bought for her. after a moments hesitation she picked it up and threw it back before wrinkling her nose , fixing the other with a displeased look as she swallowed it , “ god , what was that ? trying to kill me ? did one of these bitches hire you to fuck me up and make me break an ankle ? “ she teased with a smirk as she flicked the empty shot glass towards them.
the bar had become vivi’s second home basically, it was a great place to drown out her sorrows so she was happy the festival had decided to include this nice bar. she knew ese was about to get off her shift, so she kindly had a shot waiting for her. vivi chuckled at her friends facial expressions, throwing back a shot herself. “it’s aguardiente, i only drink the best ese, you should know that.” she replied, signaling the bartender for two more rounds. “honey, if i wanted to fuck you up i would’ve just used these guns.” she said flexing her arms, attempting to keep a straight face, but failing.

HISTORY / BACKSTORY
viviana black, who goes by vivi, was born on may 5, 1994 in southside miami. her parents sierra and percy black were both serpents, her mother was a prostitute and her father was a drug dealer.
vivi always knew what her parents were up to, they tried to be as transparent with her as possible, but it lead her into some pretty bad habits. she started smoking cigarettes and drinking at the age of 13 and soon after got into smoking weed. By the age of 15 she was starting to dabble in other street drugs.
when vivi turned 16, her father went on a drug run, her mother told her that he was going to make a quick run and make it home in time to sing her happy birthday. of course vivi didn't expect him to return that night, she didn't hold it against him but this wouldn't have been the first time he missed her birthday due to a drug run. what she didn't expect was that he wouldn't return at all ... that night her father was murdered and she still has no idea what happened, it's something that haunts her to this day.
after her fathers death, both sierra and vivi were empty inside, her mother started drinking and bringing her work home with her, it was a sight vivi couldn't bare. the only outlet she had was her drugs and sleeping around with boys she met at parties, clubs, school ect.
one night at a club a man approached vivi, she was 18 and he had to be around 30 years old, he bought her a drink and used his charm to flatter her in many ways. he offered her an escorting job, which shocked her that he had the nerve to try and recruit her, but after a few seconds of thinking about it she figured she already gave her attention to so many men, might as well get paid for it.
in no less than 5 months, vivi was able to save up enough money to move herself to the heart of miami, where she knew the majority of her clients spent their time. it was the first time vivi felt like things were looking up for her. she had a job, one that most people wouldn't be able to handle, but it was something she wasn't ashamed of, and she had her own apartment, which meant no more bumping shoulders with nasty older men.
