every so often, i think, and it might be so selfish of me, but i crave to be someone's first choice. i want to be the person that someone sees fun things to do and their first thought is to ask me to go with them. i want someone to be willing to inconvenience themselves a little bit sometimes for me as i would do for them. i want to be looked at in a list of people and to have someone pick me out of all of them. i want to be held at the same level as a romantic partner in terms of effort and closeness. i want someone to want me as much as i want them, even though it's not in a romantic sense. i want to be important to someone.

What to do

I cant describe it how hard it is to be the only aroace person in the friend group. Everyone else is into someone or knows what they like/want and I sit here, the black sheep of the group. What makes it so, so much worse is that I’m a hopeless romantic and one of the only things I want in life is to be wanted the way my friends want someone. as someone who has started in a production of bugsy malone, these characters were originally played by children. that's where they stop being children. the characters themselves are very obviously adults and I will be portraying them as such. and, out of respect for not putting actors who were children at the time in vulgar or suggestive situations, I will be basing all my designs off of the cast in my production. if y'all wanna use them, that's fine, all I ask is that there's no NSFW art of my designs as the actors in my production of it were teenagers
