For some reason Rammstein is really relaxing to me. Like, I know it’s pretty driving for a lot a people but it’s super comforting to me. Something about Till’s voice gives me such a sense of calm and soothes my anxiety.

My ex-boyfriend was an Hungarian guy named Dominik. He wasn’t fully metalhead but each time I listen to hungarian metal, I can’t help but to think about him and our good times.

I chose this one because it’s my fav hungarian metal/rock song.

Random thought here but I find Kelly Sundown ( Civil War’s singer ) to be a fantastic artist for his availability. I love when musicians/singers are close to their fans on Facebook or IRL (but it’s harder). It gives us a real sense of friendliness with them, and a little talk with them is always pleasant !

Kelly is quite famous but he stayed humble and friendly. Artists like him deserves to be respected.

They are fantastic human beings.

Song challenge #1 : A song from your childhood

I decided to start a song challenge, my first one !

Of course, I will only include metal songs.

Here we go with the first one.

The song I chose is...this.

I started with Nightwish when I was around 8 years old. My big sister was listening to Dark Passion Play and I was annoying her to listen with her. One day, to have peace, she gave me the CD.

Little did she know this CD would be the start of my metalhead life...

I remember about this song. I was lying on my bed, listening to the whole album, when I started this one.

When I heard Marco’s voice, I became amazed by the tone of this voice : relaxing, peaceful yet strong.

I was captivated.

Marco, thanks to this song, became my first favorite metal vocalist. Even today, he is still in the top 3, being 2nd and close 1st most of the time.

I just love him : his voice, his beard xD, and the whole person.

I met him irl two months ago, and I saw a livestream he made 6 years ago yesterday. I was in this live when it was recorded, such memories !

Marco is a great inspiration for me, and The Islander is one of my fav songs of him. He is such a hero to me...
