TOKYOMILK
DARK SERIES
No. 10 Everything & Nothing
Fragrance Notes: Sweet Orange, Pressed Petals, Dessert Moss and Tea Leaves
General Comments: Out of the perfumes in this series (excluding crush, the store didn’t have this so I could not try it), this one was my favorite.
Scent - ★★★★☆
It has a sweet floral/ citrus scent with a hint of musk. I’m not sure if this makes sense, but to me it has a sensual smell to it.
Long-lasting - ★★★☆☆
Eau de parfum is expected to last for 4+ hours. The scent does stay around but depending on where you put it. I usually spritz on the back of my neck and on my wrists. The scent on my neck lingers a lot longer than on my wrists.
Price - ★★★☆☆
I bought mine for ~ $35 w/ tax. Only because I got mine without the fancy packaging. but normally it’s $36 in most stores. It’s at least half the price of most other perfumes and I think it’s a decent amount.
yayy another #voxbox
So yes, I just got another voxbox and I will be doing reviews on most of the items in here.
This voxbox has
-NYC New York Color® IndividualEyes Custom Compact -Kiss® Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit -Bath & Body Works® Mini Candles: Cider Lane -Goody® Simple Styles Spin Pin -EBOOST® -Not Your Mother's® Smooth Moves™ Frizz Control Hair Cream
:D I'm excited.
In addition to reviews on this I'll be trying to do reviews on
- Wet n' Wild Megalast lipstick
- The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Make up base No. 1 Green
- Mac Lipstick: Ravishing
Thebalm Lipstick: Foxxy Pout
Ermm that should be all for now. But bear with me, I'm really busy with school work so this may take some time. I don't have to work next week so I should have more time to do reviews!
Influenster Site Update Review
For those of you that don't know, Influenster is a site where anyone can sign up and review products that gets sent to us for free.
They've recently revamped their site and I must say it is so much easier to navigate around.
If there's anything I'd suggest changing, it would be to possibly add just a touch more color. For example, when someone completes a task, instead of just saying complete, the icon would change colors instead of staying grey.
Other than that, I think they did a great job.

My Beauty Diary Apple Mask
USE: Supposed to help with minimizing pores. There is a lot of liquid in the package so I normally try to squeeze some of the excess off while taking it out of the package. (Using my fingers in a scissor like position to hold/clip the top while i use the other hand to pull it out). Then just open it up and put it on your face. There should be a lot of liquid left over. I normally just fold the opening and clip it and just apply some at night as a moisturizer.
OVERALL: (4/5) It's very relaxing to just put this on after a long day. I don't think I do it regularly enough to have it really affect my pores. It smells just like apples too (:
I WOULD purchase this again. It just leaves your skin feeling nice the next day.
Also bought the Strawberry Yogurt and Japanese Cherry Blossom Masks! As well as the Strawberry Yogurt Amino Acid cleanser (:
(: super excited to try these out!
Going to do a product review on My Beauty Diary's Apple Mask soon!
Skinfood Black Egg Pore Primer
USE: Face primer. Helps smooths out skin and minimize pores before applying foundation.
OVERALL: (3.5/5) It definitely helps smooth your skin out and avoid cake-y makeup, but I'm not convinced it helps minimize the appearance of pores. It does IF you apply foundation since it does effectively smooth your skin.
I WOULD purchase this again. It might not actually minimize pores, but it does help with the illusion of minimizing pores as long as foundation is applied.
Skinfood Omija Whitening
USE: Can be used as a foundation. I sometimes use it as a concealer or to brighten up dull areas on my skin before adding the red orange jelly bb or the peach sake bb.
OVERALL: (2.5/5) The shade was ridiculously light. I understand it is for whitening, but I just found it whiter than I expected. I don't really use it like it's supposed to be used, but it works alright as a brightening/concealer combo. If you want it as a foundation you'd better have some light, light, light skin.
I most likely WILL NOT be purchasing this again. It does lighten well, but it is too light. I have to go back with powder to make myself not look like a ghost.
Skinfood Red Orange Jelly BB
USE: Can be used as a foundation, but I use it as a concealer before applying my Peach Sake BB Cream.
OVERALL: (4/5) There isn't much of a choice when it comes to shade, but the jelly consistency helps keep my makeup from looking too cake-y.
I WOULD purchase this again. The jelly is very moist and so it helps your face avoid drying out too much.
Skinfood Peach Sake Line Review
From left to right: Peach Sake BB Cream, Peach Sake Sun Lotion, Peach Sake Toner, Peach Sake Pore Serum, Peach Sake Emulsion
USE:
The Peach Sake line is to help with minimizing pores.
Peach Sake BB Cream: I use this almost as a foundation after using concealer.
Peach Sake Lotion: Occasionally, I'll put extra suntan lotion on and I'll use this. Otherwise I just use my Pond's suntan lotion.
Peach Sake Toner, Serum, Emulsion: After washing my face, I'll put these three on in that order.
OVERALL:
The peach sake smell is really refreshing and not too heavy. I absolutely love the smell. I would purchase from this line in the future.
Peach Sake BB Cream #2 (3.75/5): I do like this coverage it provides but even after choosing the darker of the two shades, it's still too light for my skin. It is very light, but it is a little difficult to cover your skin if there are imperfections. It works better as something used to even out skin tone overall.
Peach Sake Sun Lotion (3/5): This was the most useless for me out of my Skinfood purchase because I already have a another lotion that I use. It does work well as a suntan lotion, but it really wasn't necessary since I've got my Pond's lotion with SPF.
Peach Sake Toner, Serum, Emulsion (4.5/5): After using these, I did notice that my skin was overall smoother in that my pores did appear slightly smaller. The Emulsion hydrates skin well so it helped in smoothing out my skin. The bottle for the serum is small and it is a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it.
Kiss Nail Dress - Product Review
I recently received Kiss Nail Dress in my Love Voxbox from Influenster.com.
Influenster sends out complimentary products for testing and reviewing and then chooses people to receive these boxes.
I just wanted to do a quick review/ tutorial on this product.
Each package includes 28 strips that can easily peel off and then stick on your owns nails. You can also cut the strips into designs and stick them on to make it more unique. These nail stickers usually go for $7 in stores like Walmart or CVS. So it's not terribly pricey, but I would consider using them for special occasions.
To Use:
1. Peel off
2. Apply to nails
3. Cut off excess (It says fold and file, but I prefer cutting off the excess in case I want to reuse it.)
4. File the tip of your nail.
5. Apply top coat (Optional).
All in all, this product is incredibly easy to use and I would highly recommend it for those special days. There is no drying time and it stays on pretty well. I am a little disappointed in the patterns; I wish there were more/ better ones.
