The break up between he and Violet hadnât been filled with any animosity on his partâ-their relationship had simply run itâs course, and it had been obvious to him that they were headed in two very different directions ( and wanted different things, if her behavior was anything to go by ). Still, knowing that she had been avoiding him was amusing, but a bit tiring, so he was pleasantly surprised when she replied to him rather than making an excuse to leave.
âI didnât want to completely crush the optimism you have in your team.â A smirk graced his featuresâViolet was always fun to rile up when it came to Quidditch, in any case. âI donât know what youâre talking about, Viâbut Iâm afraid even if I were to give you the password, youâd have to wait; since Iâm actually a prefect, I ought to go first, donât you think?â
âIâm not optimistic,â Violet raised an eyebrow, her lips matching the smirk on his. âIâm realistic, and stats show that we have the best chance of winning the Cup this yearâagain.â
She realized that she forgot how easy it was to talk to Isaiah, and how much she had enjoyed it. Violet decided to put that emotion later to analyze, because she was on a mission.
âWell... ladies first, though, right?â Violet pouted before giving him the best puppy dog eyes she could muster. âWho cares if Iâm not a prefect? Iâm just as delightful and contributing to the student body.â
