His whole body is tensing, and like a violin string he’s ready to be plucked, to emit whatever sound Victor desires to produce. Everything is emphasized, from his hair that moves back and forth when his glasses are being removed, to his heartbeat, furious against his chest. He can hear Victor’s too, and he bets that the Russian can hear his with the same intensity. Their hearts are singing to each other in sync, like that time when he and Victor danced together on the ice to that dear duet song, ‘Stammi vicino, non te ne andare’. And if he’s learnt some Italian from coach Celestino, Yuuri knows now very well what those words means for him and for Victor.
His grip becomes more sensual as he moves his hands towards Victor’s neck, and his touch gentler. He caresses slowly that fair skin and he wants to kiss it so bad – but those lips are enticing him more than anything else, so his attention is restored on them once again. He can hear and feel every breath, shared among each other, and he can’t wait no more.
He’s resolved to close that two-centimeters gap by himself, to the hell with his foolish shyness. However, by the time he’s so close to obtain what he desires the most right know, an earthquake shakes his entire being. Nay, the both of them and the bed itself tremble strongly under an unknown force. Yuuri’s brain, still lost after Victor’s lips and presence on top of his body, recognizes what’s happening too late to prevent it.
He’s now getting his kiss, but not from Victor.
“M-Makkachin!”
Yuuri stutters, before being forced to silence by the dog and his need to be cuddled by his now two owners. Makkachin’s tongue has licked his entire face by the time the young Japanese man can regain his composure and stare at the dog and at Victor with amazement.
His sudden laugh surprises even himself, shaking his chest and shoulder. Makkachin answers him with another happy bark, making Yuuri laugh with happiness even more. Even if he should be pissed that they were cock-blocked in such a way, the Japanese skater can only think about how funny everything looks like. He pets Makkachin all over his head before trying to meet Victor’s gaze.
“Looks like I got my kiss all right”
Yuuri mutters, smiling even more at his fiancée and placing one hand on the other’s cheek – stroking him fondly, moving away one of his silver locks and placing it behind his ear.
“I love this. I love us”
he says, referring to this little spark of everyday life that has just acted out in front of him. Victor, Makkachin and him living together from now on, under the same roof. Sharing every shenanigan, every little moment, making up for every fight and every sadness – but let’s hope not sharing really everything, because next time Yuuri is just contented to receive his ‘good morning kiss’ from Victor and Victor only.
He’s literally thrown aside by the canine-sized hurricane, that forces his body backward and slips in between he and Yuuri famished for attention. Viktor can’t help but stare at the two, overwhelmed by wonder, stark-naked and semi-sitting on his heels. And solely when the poodle seems satisfied with his ministrations, does the owner’s hand land atop the furry muzzle which recognized it nestles within the palm.
The arch curving now his lips is fond and one can spot merriment secretly coalesced with fallacious distress. Even his timbre changes intonation slipping into a whiny (humorious) murmur.
“Seems like I am the only one who didn’t get any.”
Easy is as well, though, surrendering to Yuuri’s caress. His neck cranes ever so slightly and bends laterally to meet the source that irradiates a nostalgic feeling, that he’d associate to dim and almost forgotten fragments of yore. Only that is nothing nearly as dispiriting- but uplifting in a way he might have never experimented before. It tastes like HOME and SAFETY and FREEDOM and AFFECTION. And he’s not inclined anymore to let a second pass without grasping it.
Almost half of his existence pirouetted around him shunning away s e n s a t i o n s he now revels in, and he shall and wishes to dip himself in suchlike certainty until it lasts... which he hopes, nay, is convinced will endure until his last breath. This time no, he won’t let nor allow to be let go.
Cerulean optics mutate,
and while transfixed on Yuuri’s delighted ones are brimming of the same matter engulfing his heart.
They widen, gradually. Thrilled, enraptured... e n a m o u r e d.
For that reason his free hand shifts and raises brusquely, capturing Yuuri’s once again. Right now he’ll leave no space to procrastination. The movement is swift, as celerous as are his steps in the rink. He pulls him forward, abandoning Makkachin’s pampering to instead cup the partner’s nape in his other palm.
Something clatters behind,
the dog doesn’t yap anymore.
And there’s no more breathe, no more words and no more space for anything else for h i s l i p s crash on these of the youthful before him with a charge not even his own brain is capable to chronicle or understand.
E v e r y t h i n g switches to n o t h i n g in a millisecond.
And that's all that matters.

averykatsudonlife:
His heart is beating so fast that Yuuri is pretty much sure that anyone in the neighborhood can hear it. It’s like it wants to break out of the cage that are his ribs and crawl back to Japan, hiding until the thunderstorm that’s Victor’s presence in his life has subsided. But it’s just too foolish thinking that Victor will, at some point in the future, stop being that person, that only one man that can make his whole being tremble, blush, wanting more and more; the only one that makes Yuuri aching so much for his touch that it will probably turn the young Japanese man crazy.
Victor’s hand is burning his cheek, a kind of warmth that makes Yuuri’s breath running faster and faster, as of depriving him of oxygen. Looking at Victor, hearing Victor’s words doesn’t help him calm down at all; it only makes him want to escape and, at the same time, to hasten Victor into doing more. The Russian’s intentions are so clear by now – actually, since Victor asked him that first question the moment he woke up – that it’s impossible to refuse him. Not that Yuuri would want to, anyway. How could he refuse Victor Nikiforov?
And yet, if he thinks back enough in time, it’s easy to remember that yes, he refused Victor multiple times, thinking nothing of it or that the other was only playing games with his heart. In the end, it was Yuuri himself the one playing with Victor’s heart, but he has already made amends for this terrible sin, or at least he hopes so. This time, however, it seems like Victor is a bit wiser, smarter, and doesn’t leave Yuuri any practical way to escape or to pretend nothing is really being said or done.
The Japanese skater is cornered, and even if his primary instinct is to struggle and move away from the other man – like the other many times he was being cornered before by Victor’s way of flirting –, his heart and now even is brain are commanding him to stop. Yes, just stop, relax. It’s very simple, and yet so complicated. Because Victor is so beautiful Yuuri’s heart is aching to touch him like he can be broken by his unskilled fingers at the faintest mistake. And yet, he knows how strong Victor is; and even how reckless, fearless he is when he is put in front of something crazy, impossible like giving up his whole career just to be right by Yuuri’s side: as his coach, as his partner in life.
Yuuri can just look at him, wildly blushing under his touch, letting him push his back on the bed.
“Victor…”
Yuuri only manages to mumble, and he can’t really think of anything else. Victor, Victor, Victor, it’s always going to be Victor. In the past as in the present, and now even in the foreseeable future. He knows very well how really dishonest his words were just now. How easily he could just deny any hidden meaning except the one merely related to a material hunger for food – and not the strong thirst he’s feeling for something else: for Victor himself.
That finger breaks apart his lips, stealing from his breath a very feeble moan of anticipation, something that Yuuri didn’t even know he was capable of emitting until now. He’s burning with embarrassment and he can’t conceal it. He doesn’t want to. Like always, he’s showing Victor even his smallest flaw, and all of his vulnerable sides of his mind…and his body.
He takes in more air as Victor’s leg closes in on him, rendering Yuuri an actual prisoner under the Russian man. It’s not the first time Victor is on top of him – and looking at him like that; but Yuuri knows very well that this one time can also be a first: of what, only the two of them would be able to decide the outcome.
Victor’s final words are the ones that switch abruptly something inside him, something that Yuuri thought he had left behind together with a certain Short Program performed during the last skating season.
“If you don’t kiss me right now, I think I will go crazy”
are his hurried words, whispered and yet pronounced like he is shouting them at Victor. He’s suddenly very serious and his hands move quickly and seize the Russian’s shoulders, trying to bring him and his painfully beautiful face so close to him – if Victor allows it – that he can almost taste the sweet scent of his skin and the softness of those desired lips.
Time is over.
And its ticking slows down with his name whispered like a plead misting at each hot exhale against his face — so much that Viktor’s own can’t but quiver in resonance (trembling with aphonic promises in the dephts of a thorax that rises and falls arrhythmically).
His teal-shaded irises hidden behind drooped slate lashes are turbid once again, roily of salacity just one that has awaited so long and so devotedly can possess.
He can hear it, tight in his core the f u r i o u s beating of anticipation that d e l u g e s he and Yuuri like a tide... and when finally it happens (gazing in these pools of liquefied coal underneath him) that fear and chagrin dissipate into hunger, in that moment he knows that Yuuri is ready for him.
Ah! If he recognizes that expression, it’s the same he wore thousand times on ice, before every competition when he becomes e r o s and of e r o s is made.
The finger still on his lips moves upward, tracing the bridge of his nose until the tip finds the rim of Yuuri’s glasses under which wedges in, slowly dragging the frame overhead until they’re removed and fall on the mattress.
It’s in the moment the soft thud meets the linens that once again, hoarse, the other’s timbre invades tympana once again.
It’s need, that which tumbles on Yuuri’s tongue and scorches the aether all around.
Abrupt, the strenght he feels falling on his shoulders is akin to that of a chain that pulls Viktor’s down with haste, something he'd rather associate to himself. A ravenousness that digs into epidermis and sets it ablaze.
That unravels in a way that his mouth opens as if ready to d e v o u r.
“Yuur — ”
...
There’s a bark.
Springs creak again. And a very large, ruvid tongue is suddenly lapping Yuuri’s lips.

If he must find a term to define him it would be homme fatale, for witnessing this man gliding upon a sacred expanse of IMMACULATE ice, he’s sure many would concur, isn’t all that different than a d m i r i n g a primeval sin slithering his way to tantalization.
Lips curve upward in a way that underlines complacency. Knowing. Aware of the influence the other holds over the audience and the power of a performance that speaks for itself.
To think one petite, timid and cherubin-like (according to what he recalls, even his memory plays pranks more often than not) child could someday make ice thaw under his blades…
One flip landed. Now must be the turn of-
However, evaluating fellow figure skaters’ routines is not the reason why Viktor traversed 2.582 kilometers (not even bothering to warn Yakov and company) with the inseparable poodle in tow.
Lately, there’s been something bothering him. Some ephiphany has struck the recesses of his mind just a few hours after the last Grand Prix d i s i n t e r r i n g ribbons of memory he can’t yet piece together.
Common terrestrials would indeed resort to technology and communicate throught it, or in his case, rather keep ambiguous doubts for themselves or let abovementioned slip as they came.
In this case, Christophe Giacometti represents the onliest dowel at hand he can avail himself of to definitely set incovenient headaches aside.
When the scraping of steel on ice finally informs him that the training period has reached a conclusion he does not wait further advancing toward the rink fence armed with a barking Makkachin and a hand vigorously waving overhead.
“Hiiii~~~~”
And if the whole edifice hasn’t noticed his presence yet is either because they are deaf or blind.

Hit and sunk.
And he knew that Victor’s answer would have been like that, since the moment he himself mentioned katsudon and winning. A painful smile and a nervous chuckle escape his mouth, while his left hand raises up to scratch the back of his head and straighten the glasses on his nose.
His eyes move, away from Victor’s, away from that handsome and yet so cruel face. Victor can smile so kindly and in such a sweet manner even when he’s actually telling you that the silver you won is garbage and if you want to eat ever again, must train and train, and TRAIN, until your sweat becomes blood and your movements are perfect. Like Victor himself.
And yet, this is one of Victor’s quirks that made Yuuri fall in love with him so hard, it actually still hurts.
“Ok, ok, ok! You win…the argument. But…I’m still hungry, though”
This is the meek answer with which Yuuri signs his own defeat, before admitting what’s bugging him. But not what his brain – and his body too – would really want from Victor. Like, want so bad. Since the moment he heard those first words. He’s not deaf, he’s not stupid, and above all, he’s not frigid – and foolishly pretending to be so is causing him more harm than good.
So why does he keep ignoring Victor’s….ways of enticing him, even if they’re working so damn well on him?
It’s simple: Yuuri Katsuki, 24 years old, is still a virgin. He can win all the gold medals in the world, but this fact will still remain the same. Unless someone helps him otherwise.
“So…is there a possibility to eat something to celebrate? Like, celebrating my silver, your comeback to the world of professional skating, or my moving here to St. Petersburg…I mean, a way to celebrate us”
He shrugs as if he’s just said something like what’s the weather like or that he prefers walking to running as a warm up before training. He knows very well that what he’s just said is important, very important; that he’s wanted to celebrate the two of them finally able to be together – to compete against one another and still be able to enjoy things like waking up every morning near each other from that day onward – since the day before, when he had just arrived to Victor’s very own house.
A house that would be his too, now. Like the man in front of him.
‘Victor is mine…and I still can’t believe it. How foolish am I to pretend to own such a man?’ is his recurrent thought, something that kept him awake for many nights since the GPF in Barcelona, weeks before that very morning. A quick smile crosses his lips, and then it instantly curves towards one side that Yuuri begins to scratch nervously.
“You know, Victor…I would really like to taste something Russian, something only you can make. Something that tastes of…I don’t know, like…Victor?”
And what if now Yuuri Katsuki’s true Eros is not katsudon anymore, but rather Victor Nikiforov himself?
Yuuri holds more charms than one would ever give him account for, regalia he dispenses every day bit by bit, of which he may be oblivious but that inevitably lure people to him — even hard nuts to crack like Yurio — qualities that are neither refined jewels nor extravagant bauble.
It’s probably his capability to stand up at the very last second, despite him being full of insecurities and flaws, a second that both on ice and off the rink inexplicably makes Viktor’s core tremble with pride. That makes him think that’s my boy, that makes him conscious there’s somebody else other than him. Somebody else he wishes to see shine as much and if not more than himself. That reminded him how enthralling and ecstatic can be thriving the surface of adversity and climb the top or fail.
That surpassed him and made him envious and jealous and impatient to return where he belongs beside who he belongs. So stunning, impressively astonishing in his simplicity... that...
That...
Hands finally free Yuuri’s, feeling them slip as though these very limbs desired liberty from a pair of manacles they just dropped in the ocean. His own slowly set down on a lap still concealed by layers of linen, gradually and almost carefully. He must've shifted from the initial position and settled sitting an awkward seiza at some point, that very rigid position he learned back in Hasetsu for the sake of acquiring absolutely everything about Japan.
The mattress finally forswears and chirrs beneath his weight once, before submitting to silence. A silence that lingers in the room too long... in the air still pregnant of words he'd never expected coming.
He's taken aback again and all he can do is stare, muted and motionless, regarding and seeking a pair of stygian irises that won't meet dazed beryl.
There’s a faint ground noise, a whisper of fabric trailing upon a paved surface and springs creaking that magnifies by the second.
His palms fall on warm, pleasantly warm epidermis which contrasts with the coolness of St. Petersburg night whereof idleness isn’t completely dissipated from amidst walls yet.
He doesn’t need permission to forcibly turn the partner’s visage so he can properly face him.
“Ahhhh, Yuuri’s mouth can breathe merciless words so dishonestly that I’m always undecided whether should I bite or kiss it.”
But alas, as if nectar, in either case, he can’t help but being drawn to the source. The thumb draws a straight line on the upper lip, languidly tracing of it the contour.
“Maybe both.”
One knee slides between Yuuri’s legs, so as to prevent and hinder any escape attempt while the free hand lands on his chest, unhurriedly apposing pressure on it in order to goad the latter backwards.
Nearer and nearer, is timbre lowers to hushed undertones, intimate as much as vocal folds can allow. A perilous caress that doesn’t admit any more refusals.
“Your request may be troublesome, for there’s nothing in this whole nation that tastes of me... that’s not me.”
