“You aren’t wrong, Hook. I am sure they’ll want to meet me, I did do some amazing and evil schemes back in the day.”
“You really did. And, come on, you do make the best food.”
offwithyourhcad:
She wasn’t going to fight him too much on the issue, seeing as if she did then it would just be purely hypocritical, but it didn’t mean that she would just give him a free pass. “Show me it then, prove to me that it’s not that serious.” Regina had dealt with her own injuries back on the isle from a young age, she was pretty adept at first aid. She had managed to fix the wound on her neck well enough that only a slight scar remained. “Get your shirt off pirate, at least let me have a look at it.” The smirk on her lips was not as genuine as she has intended, mainly because she was worried about him.
“Not being dead is all that we can ask for at this point in our lives.” It was pretty pessimistic, but even on Auradon, especially now that her mother was back Regina just was glad to still be alive. “I wasn’t distraught. It’s nothing…” It wasn’t to her, but it seemed to pale in comparison to Harry’s issue. “Mother dearest has made an appearance. I haven’t seen her yet but it’s only a matter of time.”
Harry doubted it was going to look all that pretty, the injury hand stitched where it needed by him, and with his insistence on hiding the injury and going on with life like he was fine, the stitches had pulled out and needed to be re-sewn several times. However, he would fight tooth and nail not to go to a hospital or doctor of any kind, and he hoped she understood that as he shrugged out of his shirt, revealing the slice that cut from his right shoulder down to his left hip. It wasn’t pretty, and would likely scar terribly, but so far it wasn’t infected and he was keeping it clean. “It’s not pretty now, but I think it’ll add to my charm once it’s healed up.” He smirked, sounding and looking far more playful than he felt.
“Eh, We’ve survived to this point, I’ve no doubt we’ll make it further. But..you’re still watching out for CJ right?” He was worried his failure would mark worse things for his siblings, and he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if that were the case. “You distraught isn’t ever nothing Regina.” His brow furrowed at her confession, not liking that one bit. “You’re always armed, yes? And even injured, I’ll still have your back when you need it lass. Maybe she’ll stay away?”
offwithyourhcad:
Regina basically was pouting at Hook, although if anyone had accused her of that she’d have ripped their head off. It just showed how well they knew each other though, although they were both always willing to attempt a lie. As shown these were never well received by the other.
There was a moment in which the redhead didn’t know what to say, which was a rare moment. It didn’t last too long though as his words sunk in. “Where did he get you? Have you been to a hospital or do you need me to take you?/” In his position she’d rather died then have gone to a hospital, but this was a battle she was willing to have with the pirate. “You’re not getting away with slinking off and injuring yourself even more.” As awful as it sounded Regina was just glad to have a distraction from her own psychotic parent.
“I’m not going to a hospital.” Harry practically growled it, sharing the opinion that he’d rather die than let some AK fuss over him. He also wasn’t about to rat out his father for hurting him and get him thrown back, no matter how much easier his life would be for that choice. He wasn’t a coward, he’d live with the consequences. Harry also knew Regina truly wouldn’t leave him alone, so he just gave up and opted to sit down for a minute, needing to breathe a bit before he willed himself to move again anyways. “He got me on the chest. It’s not too deep, I only passed out a little at first. It just hurts now. I’ve been taking care of it fine.”
Harry shrugged a little, ignoring the twinge he felt at that movement. “He wouldn’t kill me, so that should at least be somewhat reassuring.” The information didn’t really make him feel better, though he was glad to not be dead. “You seemed distraught about your own problem before you nosed into my mess lass. Are you alright?”
evildreamsandmuses:
“Now make sure you tell all of your new Ak friends about this little place, so everyone will be into it”
“Oh my word of mouth or no, I think you’ll have plenty of customers, even if only out of curiosity. You are the great Sea Witch after all darling.”
evildreamsandmuses:
“We all know these heroes aren’t the brightest if so, they wouldn’t have been tricked by all of us dastardly villains.” She chuckled softly before nodding. “I know you would, kiddo. “
“That’s fair.” Harry laughed softly before giving her a nod. “Good.”
evildreamsandmuses:
“While I am okay with that, and I don’t mind them letting us be ourselves, if it comes down to it, I will fight for Uma and you kids to stay here. Sure, the Isle was home but you kids didn’t get any proper resources that these little goody go getters go and I’m not cool with that one bit.”
“No one’s tossing you back either dearie. We’d all fight against the Isle, and with you and the others to make sure we all can live our lives. Locking you and the others away solved nothing.”
puck-bell:
The half fae could only smirk, “Oh trust me, pirate, my expectations are about rock bottom when it comes to you and your potential,” he teased back shamelessly. Obviously that wasn’t case, but it didn’t stop him from poking fun at his friend. He knew that Harry was exclusive when it came to the people he actually took risks for, he could only hope that he was one of them. “But I also don’t think you’re as bad as everyone thinks you are. You’re not as bad as some of the other lost kids think you are.” Nobody may love a pirate, but Puck did care for this one quite a lot, and he wanted to make sure at least he knew it. He had a feeling not many people did. “But to clear, I’m not going to be the one to change their opinions. I might not be your prince charming, but I’m also not going to go out of my way to spread you around to every thirsty bachelor or bachelorette on the island,” he winked, before gently shoving his friend into the air. The second Harry agreed to the race, Puck was off into the night sky with a natural ease only someone with fairy blood could have. Within a matter of minutes, moments, he was perched on top of the roof, waiting for Harry to catch up.
“Good.” He knew Puck was kidding, but his own tone was serious. He ultimately didn’t want to hurt Puck when the boy did realize how useless Harry really was, nor did he want to feel it quite as deeply when that day came. “There you go being optimistic again. Listen to my peers pretty boy. They know me.” Harry smirked darkly at him, glad to hear he wouldn’t be singing his praises even if it irked him Puck thought well of him at all. “I’ve already been fairly well spread around all those thirsty single people Puck, sorry to shatter that dream.” He drawled easily before grunting a bit when the other pushed him into the air, making sure his feet were over the roof before turning his thoughts to his father and how he made Harry feel. The boy dropped to the roof in an instant, holding onto that pain to keep himself grounded while he took off at a run, looping around a longer way but having some fun jumping over deep falls and climbing over rooftops. He didn’t take long, skidding to a stop by Puck. “Definitely an unfair advatage there, my fairy friend.”
puck-bell:
The ginger frownd. “Why do you do that? Try to make yourself look more evil than you are? Especially with me,” he added. “I know you saved Aurdadon for more reasons than just order given to you. You did it to help save the people of the isle, I just know you did. So why do you try to make it seem like you didn’t care?” Honestly Puck didn’t get the vk’s sometimes, like showing that they actually a damn actually made them look weak. He rolled his eyes. “Nobody said anything about love, Hare Bear, calm down,” he winked. True, they both told themselves this friendship was a casual thing, but it didn’t mean he didn’t grow an attachment to him, a trust that was stronger than most of the people he’d met in Aurdaon. Did he mean he expected to get down on one knee, or was willing to bet True Love’s kiss would save them? No. One of his biggest annoyance with Harry was that he was so closed off with him, even now. “Okay, Hook. I’ll race you to the roof on the far right, underneath the moon just there. Ready?”
“I’m keeping your expectations low handsome. I didn’t “save Auradon” no one gave me a medal or anything Puck. I was simply along for the ride. And while there were kids on the isle I care for, I don’t care about all of them. But expecting good of me is only going to leave you disappointed.” The pirate shrugged before smirking at the other boy. “I know lad. No one loves a pirate. But you get odd ideas in your head sometimes..” He poked his side. “Just makin sure Puck. And sure, I’ll race ya.” He assumed Puck would win, the other’s flight a definite advantage, but it’d been a long while since he was able to race across rooftops. Something else that was fun that Auradon frowned upon.

“I know what you are thinking and yeah, I had a bad day, okay. It was either punch this bag or punch people in the face.”
“I’m not judging you love. Came here to give that bag the same attention.”
sliverroyalty:
“well its not going away”
“I’ve certainly gathered that darling. Whole place, irrationally upbeat. But , you be how you want.”
vk-harry:
“I know I’ll like it Aubrey, don’t worry. I always love my time with you lass.” He chuckled a little and kissed her hair. “I’m still surprised you want to is all. Though we’ll see about doing my sort of activities.” Harry smiled a bit, squeezing her hand.
Audrey couldn’t help but smile at him. Usually, she wasn’t this self-conscious around a guy, at least she wasn’t with Ben or Chad. She really liked Harry though, so maybe that was why. “All of your hobbies can’t be completely evil.” She told him.
“Evil, no. Though admittedly nicking things can be rather fun.” Harry smirked a bit before shrugging. “But you don’t seem the type to like sword fighting or wandering till you’re lost and finding a way back either. I’d rather you enjoy yourself than just put up with me lass.”
vk-harry:
“One of her many fantastic qualities.” Harry smiled a little before chuckling. “It’s an adjustment. But alas, pure goodness has yet to become a part of my life, so I’m still a bit of trouble. Long as you don’t try to take over a kingdom the prim and proper royals aren’t bothered.”

“That’s the thing here. Every story needs a villain and a hero or it is just really boring. If you turn all the villains good or try to make them go good, that is just making life painfully boring.”
“Oh, making everyone conform isn’t going too well. Some of the heroes are fine with us being how we are as long as we don’t try to murder them, but the others...well, I think things will get interesting around here before too long.”
puck-bell:
“It doesn’t matter. You were part of the team that saved Auradon. How many of the jerks who glare at you on the street can say that?” he pointed out. Despite Harry’s protest, the pirate was a hero in a lot of ways. He was a hero in ways that Puck couldn’t compete with. As Harry tucked his hook away, Puck was all too quick to lace their hands and fingers together. He wanted to live in the moment as he spoke, and it quickly felt like Harry did as well. “I did trust you, and I still do. I mean, yeah, I have a crush on your Harry, everyone knows that, but I also trust you with my life, and I feel… I feel like you trust me too,” a wry grin tugged at his lips. Within moments, felt the both them start to float off the ground. “Look,” he smirked, glancing down at their feet, before shooting a knowing smirk at his friend. “Fly with me.”
“Did little more than assist Puck. I’m still a villain, don’t try to redeem me with imagines good deeds.” The pirate quirked a brow before the other continued speaking and he just smirked at him. “Careful handsome, before to long you’ll be giving me declarations of love. No reason to crush on me laddie.” He gave the boy a wink, keeping it playful. He was fine with messing around and having fun, but serious relationship was something he only did one at a time, and he was currently having that attempt with Aubrey. Messing around didn’t mean anything so it was alright. Just friends. “I told you I trust ya Puck. Now, that’s all the compliments you’ll get out of me today. Can’t have your ego getting too big.” Harry chuckled a bit, though was admittedly uneasy about flying. “Just pick a roof and let’s do it.”

“I get it. You should only give trust to the people that earn it. My dad taught me that a long time ago. You’ve basically been in to battle with them, so it’d be hard not to trust people like that,” he admitted. “I get that. Trust me.” He laughed, knowing that Harry was right. Obviously their parents had history, and there may have been a bit of a bias there. “Yeah yeah. But you were also the Hook that helped saved Auradon that one time, which by the way I remind them of… a lot. You’d be surprised how far being a hero once upon a time helps your rep.” He couldn’t say he was shocked that Harry wasn’t in the mood to reminisce on their history, when he had his own staring him in the face. “Okay… then I’ll go,” he pointed out. He took both of Harry’s hands, well he took the hook Harry had been holding, and looked him in the eyes. “The first time we kissed is one of my favorites. When we were both standing on the crow’s nest of Uma’s ship, over looking the coast of Auradon. We talked about our parents, our friends. I told you how big of a crush I had on you…” his cheeks burned red, “I still do by the way.” He rolled up on his toes to press their foreheads together. Within moments, his own feet floated off the ground.
He rolled his eyes at being accredited with saving Auradon, shaking his head. “That credit goes to Uma and Mal. I was just going with my Captain. Nothing special to remind me of.” Harry was always quick to deflect that credit, knowing he’d barely been any help in all of that. Seeing the other reaching for his hands he did tuck his hook out of the way, not wanting to accidentally hurt Puck while he held his hands. Then they were looking at each other and the other was speaking so intimately, Harry finding it easily distracting how innocently heartfelt Puck was. The memory was a nice one, and Puck’s soft little blush was enough to make Harry smile, floating just slightly without really noticing. The crush was something that had settled comfortably between them, Harry not truly acknowledging it but their relationship had changed around it. “The first time you stayed the night. You were so cute and sweet when we were just messing around and then it kept going and well..you certainly looked good in my bed the next morning. But you trusted me enough to fall asleep...and that..well, not many have done that. It..It meant a lot.” Harry had lifted a few feet, keeping his focus on Puck certainly helping his mood. The pirate laughed a bit, quirking a brow at his friend. “Seems your plan is working.”
puck-bell:
“That’s kind of a depressing way of seeing things. You have faith in Uma and Gil, that pays off doesn’t it?” he pointed out. He decided against throwing his own name in there, if only because he wasn’t sure if he wanted to hear Harry’s answer just yet. When talk came to his parents, Puck shook his head. “Nope, my parents are fine with the VKs. I mean if you think about it, my dad basically lived like you and your friends, and my mom befriended people like you. My mom is basically the queen of befriending kids with crappy parents. I mean yeah, duh, they hate your dad, and they probably don’t want me here alone with his son, but we both know that’s a Hook thing, not a Harry thing.” He narrowed his eyes at the pirate when he rejected his idea. “Really? You don’t think you could get to a happy place at all right now? With your favorite red headed AK here?” Rubbing his hands together for a moment, he pursed his lips and blew into them, spreading pixies dust into his friend’s face. “Let’s at least try. Just look in my eyes, Harry. It’s just you and me. Okay? Tell me about your favorite memory with us.”
“Of course I do. They’re VK’s. Having faith in people is something you can only do if there’s trust, and I trust a rare few.” Harry shook his head before laughing a bit at Puck’s answer. “There’s no way in hell your parents would be pleased about you being alone with any of Hook’s offspring, much less the one who carries a hook.” That was an amusing thought, even with Puck looking at him all suspiciously right then. “I’ve not really been in the mood lately anyways, and being here it’s not entirely conducive for happiness, so even if you make me happy on occassion I..” Suddenly he had pixie dust in his face and he sneezed a bit, shooting the other a look. “I feel violated now.” He shook off his arms a little before Puck was demanding his attention, his eyes locking with the other boy as he sighed. “I..i don’t know Puck, the other times when you weren’t attacking me with Pixie magic.”
puck-bell:
“Listen, I know not everyone in Auradon are welcoming, and trust me when I say they don’t all deserve your trust, but you have a little faith. If you keep treating the rest of them like they are the enemy, that’s all they see you as too,” he shrugged. He hated knowing Harry felt ostracized, but he also knew he had reason to. “I don’t know, I think you’re pretty damn desirable, Hook,” he smirked, leaning in to press a kiss on the brunet’s jaw. “You’re my favorite VK, if that mean’s anything to you.” He stopped when Harry stopped, and took in the market place. There really wasn’t anything impressive about it, he felt like he should say something polite about his friend’s former home, but he was drawing a blank. “Wow… it looks, um…” nope, he had nothing. “…well it looks creepy as hell, Harry, not going to lie,” he laughed. “I’m sure you’ll protect me if anything crazy goes down,” he winked up at him. “You wanna fly up to the rooftops for a better look?” Being son of a pixie, pixie dust was never in short supply for him.
“Having faith in others just leads to disappointment. And I’m pleasant until I have reason to be unpleasant.” Harry gave another shrug, long ago accepting he wouldn’t ever really be enough for Auradon. He wasn’t gonna not be himself jut to fit in, and as acting like something he wasn’t hadn’t ever gone well. At Puck’s comment he chuckled a little, smirking as the boy kissed him. “Well, they all find me attractive of course, but do any of your parents want me around?” He chuckled a little before laughing at his nice guy attempt to compliment the Isle. “It’s garbage. We all knew it. Don’t need to make shit up.” His home hadn’t been too far from here, Harry jittery just thinking about it, though Puck’s question got a surprised laugh. “I....happy thoughts seems a bit difficult at the moment, so I’ll stick with the ground for this trip.”
puck-bell:
“Yeah. Some of the people from Auradon aren’t really big on change. The people that matter though, we’ll have your back, no matter what they say.” He did feel a bit better knowing that Harry didn’t lump him in with the ignorant and close minded. “And probably the fact that they wouldn’t trap you in here if I was here with you, right?” He smirked. While the Isle was more or less abandoned now, he could tell from the way Harry stayed alert as they wandered through the alleys and streets, that he should still be on his guard. In Auradon, Puck never really had to worry about muggings or gangs, it was a bit of a wake up call for him. He glanced at Harry’s hook, which the pirate seemed ready to use if need be. “I feel like I should have brought some kind of a weapon along too.” While he was sure Harry would be more equipped to defend them than Puck would have been with anything he could have brought, he felt a bit more helpless than he liked. “Are we going to be okay?”
“I don’t put that past them. They could get you off without me, it’s been done before after all.” Harry shrugged a little before looking at Puck apologetically. “Sorry, it’s something I’ve been sortof waiting to happen for awhile. ‘m not the most desirable VK to have in the land of perfect.” The pirate looked ahead, only slowing once they hit the wide, market area in the center of the Isle. It was strange, seeing it empty, but his attention was taken by the other male in a few minutes. ““Oh, nah, we’ll be fine. I’ve got mine, and the hook, so if something happened I’d just get you the sword. It’s the Isle. Just used to being on edge. Either way, I’ve got you handsome.”
