» “Huh? What is it?” By the sound of Vincent’s voice, it seemed like something was wrong, so Leo was more than relieved to see that it was just him being a proud dad and wanting to show his kid off to everyone.
He couldn’t help but smile and let out a soft “Aw” when he saw little Julie trying to munch on her foot. Kids were always his soft spot and that wasn’t going to change anytime soon.
“You know, Alex used to do that when he was little. Actually, he’d try to chomp on anything he could get his hands on. Or I guess teeth. Looks like she’s growin’ up fast though. Before you know it, she’ll be off to school and everything.”
“Oh, really? I bet he tried eating some interesting things.”He chuckled at the mention of Alex, and smiled. One day his daughter’s going to be that age, and he looks forward to seeing her get there.
“I’m going to have to keep a close eye on her at this rate. Last thing I need is her trying to eat my own shoe.”
“Yea, maybe when she’s older she’ll get into some kind of sport. I’d love to play a game with her.”
