Hiyama Kiyoteru’s 8th anniversary of release is at the end of this year, on December 4th. To celebrate that, an overseas compilation album will be created to release on that day! This album will primarily need music producers, artists, and tuners who can render Kiyoteru’s vocals. This means that you can still write a song, even if you don’t own Kiyoteru yourself. In addition, other important roles like lyricists, video makers, promoters, and an album mastering engineer are also welcome! Anyone can apply to join the album. Applications open today, August 1st, and will close at the end of the month on August 31st. Let’s celebrate our favorite vocaloid sensei!
FAQ Q. Do I need to prepare a Kiyoteru song before applying? A. No, we will write all new songs for this album over the next few months.

Kiyoteru: A week of detention for all of you! [to Rana] You for faking your show and tell! [to Oliver and Ryuto] You for going into the girls' bathroom! [to Galaco] And you for trapping me in a toilet paper cocoon and promising too small boys that they could enslave the earth! [walking away] THAT'S NOT RIGHT!

Engagement ring?
The door rang, and just as Kiyoteru expected from the text about the mailbox, Akito stood just outside. He opened the door.
“Yo,” the redhead said, pulling down his scarf. “What’s up?” Teru asked. “There’s one year left, so I might as well give you this now,” Akito continued, pulling something out of his pocket and handing it to Kiyoteru. It was a small box. “What is this,” Kiyoteru said in monotone, opening the box.
Inside was a ring. Akito beamed. “It looks nice, eh?” Kiyoteru closed the box. “I’m not wearing it. It’ll kill my chances of getting a girlfriend.” “Oh, c’mon!” Akito whined. “Tell her it’s not an engagement ring, it’s a best friend ring.” “That’s not what I was thinking. Do you really want to marry me that badly? You used to be, like, my wingman.”
Akito pulled his scarf back up and moonwalked away.
That night.
"Sorry Akito, I know it's late," Kiyoteru panted, out of breath from running to his friend's house. "Don't be sorry. Come in," Akito droned, sliding to the kitchen in his socks to make tea. Kiyoteru took his shoes and coat off, sitting down at the table. "Here you go," the other said, offering the mug of hot tea. "Thanks," he replied, taking a sip.
"So, what's up?" Akito asked once Kiyoteru put his mug down. "You're the last damn person I can trust anymore." It was then that Akito noticed Kiyoteru shaking, and clearly not because of the cold. "Of course, I'm your best friend," he said casually. "Tell me completely and truthfully what happened on that night," Kiyoteru demanded. "When we went to dinner and you ended up getting stabbed." Akito took a deep breath. "This is going to be a long story," he started, and went on to recount the events as well as he could, up until Takashi's arrival.
"And then… we needed to get you drunk, so that you wouldn't remember the rest," he said, pausing. "This is what I need to hear," Kiyoteru said, voice low. Akito checked his phone for a moment, then continued on with Natsuki's gun debacle. Kiyoteru didn't seem to be surprised at all. The story went on. "You and Ike kissed, hardcore, and that was basically a mission accomplished moment for me. Like, dude, he was asking you out on a DATE, so when I got dragged along, I had to make sure it'd go alright." Kiyoteru took another sip of tea and avoided eye contact with Akito. "But you puked after that, because I am a goddamn idiot. Anyway, the game ended, but you were basically trying to get into Ike's pants as fast as possible. Never knew you had that side to you." Kiyoteru sighed. "Can't believe I was really like that…" he muttered.
"We left the restaurant, and the guy driving you and Ike back was a fan of the band. We gave him signatures. I was like, 'Okay, have fun,' and went to take the train home, but guess who?" "Who." "NATSUKI! I thought I lost the madman. And that's when I got shot." "Wait a moment, I thought you were stabbed by some guy trying to mug you." "Yeeaahh no, that was a lie. Natsuki shot me. But it's all good now," Akito reassured his friend, patting himself gently where the wound used to be. "That's when I rushed to the hospital, but you didn't even realize I was there because you were too busy hooking up with Ike. I presume. That's the story." "Thanks," Kiyoteru said, finishing the tea.
"So, how are you and Ike doing now?" Akito asked. "At this rate, we're not going to marry each other next year." Kiyoteru winced, both regarding Ike and the fact that Akito remembered his promise. "Ouch, not good," Akito remarked, noticing the reaction. "What happened?" Kiyoteru removed his arms from the table, looking to the side as he spoke. "I almost called the police on him just now." He reread the DMs on his phone. "What for?" Akito pressed, though assuming it had something to do with whatever happened behind closed doors that other night. "I couldn't remember exactly what happened back then. I partially did, actually, more recently. The thing is, the way I remember it.. I don't know if it's true. I'm afraid." Akito was lost, but he let the silence linger so that Kiyoteru would explain.
"Looking back on it, the only way I could imagine that kind of thing happening would be rape. There's just no damn way I'd want to have sex," Kiyoteru nervously laughed, which came off more like crying. "Yeah, you were pretty drunk. Sorry about that," Akito apologized. "Don't blame yourself for this," Kiyoteru insisted, though seeing the reasoning. "I can't believe I trusted him." "He did seem obsessed with you in the restaurant, kept on going 'I love you' and shit. What are you going to do now? I mean, Teru, what stopped you from actually calling the police?" Kiyoteru gave Akito a look. It's been a couple weeks since the actual event, he was a man, and it was unclear what exactly happened. "Right, okay," Akito said.
"I'm going to church tomorrow, first of all," Kiyoteru planned. "Actually, before that, let me stay here tonight." "Sure thing," Akito said. "You can sleep next to me in my bed, and I'll hold you tight so that you'll be extra safe." Kiyoteru's face turned to an expression of serious concern. "I'm joking, okay? You know where the extra futon is," Akito replied, standing up to put the mugs away and letting Kiyoteru go upstairs.

ikekei-11:
Siren walked to the kitchen to make him a cup of coffee. Ike walked towards Kiyoteru and sits across him with Riku next to him.
“Nothing really happened…I’m just wondering. Yeah I’ll send you home first. You look terrible.” Ike glared at a hickey on Kiyoteru’s neck. He sweared under his breath.
Siren came back and placed the coffee in front of Kiyoteru. “Here you go,sensei!”
Seeing Ike glare at him, Kiyoteru immediately touched his cheek. “Do I have something on my face?,” he asked, trying to rub off any food residue that might be there.
“Thank you,” he said, picking up the mug of coffee and taking a sip. He cursed when it burnt his tongue. Just the way that Tohma makes it.

ikekei-11:
“Eh, don’t mind him. He can be really pissed sometimes.” Kuma finished her food. She took Ike and Riku’s plate and walked to the kitchen.
“Both hangover AND those two mouth can kill his mood.” Mrs Nazo pointed her finger at Siren and Kuma. “Anyway, do you want a cup of coffee before you go?” Mrs Nazo asked. “I can make him a coffee!” Siren exclaimed. Riku get off of his chair and walks upstairs.
After a few minutes, Ike walked downstairs. He is fully dressed and showered. He is carrying Riku on one of his arm. “Someone wants to follow us to church.” Ike said, walking towards Kiyoteru. “Kiyo…Are you okay? Uh, I mean. My body aches after I woke up. Did that happen to you?” He lied about his body aching. He wondered whether he hurts Kiyoteru last night.
“Yes, please,” Kiyoteru said to the offer of coffee. That should help as well this morning.
When Ike returned, Kiyoteru’s eyes went wide. “What?” he said, checking himself for signs of injury. “Was there a fight last night? I can’t remember.”
“I need to go home to shower and change before heading to church,” he added.

ikekei-11:
Ike looked at him, “Oh god,I have A LOT of sins.” He finished his food and leans on the chair.
The two mothers are whispering with each other. “Ike has too many sins though. I bet god hates him.” Kuma ate her food. “Hey!! God will forgive him of course! Right, sensei?” Siren looked at Kiyoteru with innocent eyes.
“What is sin?” Riku stopped eating. Ike pats his head and went upstairs, to get dressed.
Just as Kiyoteru expected, regret smashed into him like a train. Head down, he silenced himself with a mouthful of pancakes.
“F-forget it,” he asked, taking his phone out of his pocket. 11% charged. He’ll charge it when he gets home.
With panic in his eyes, Kiyoteru watched Ike leave the table. He definitely made him upset with that accusation of sin.

ikekei-11:
Ike realized Kiyoteru is worried about something. He sighed. “Don’t worry we didn’t do anything and I wasn’t trying to do anything to you.” He eats his pancakes quietly.
“Don’t worry. I know my son will never take advantage of anyone when they’re drunk.” Mrs Kei said, cutting her pancake to small pieces. Riku looks at Kiyoteru and Ike,“Dad and sensei look sad…” Riku pulled Ike’s left hand and Kiyoteru’s right hand and made them hold each other. “There!” Riku giggled.
Riku flinched after Ike pulled his hand away,“I’m sorry. He needs that hand to eat.” He said with his mouth full. “I’ll drive you home, Kiyo.”
Oddly specific reassurance. Though maybe Kiyoteru was just on edge, and misinterpreting harmless statements. They were, after all, trying to reassure them.
Kiyoteru pulled his hand back to himself when Riku brought it to touch Ike’s. What kind of relationship did this kid think they had? Ike seemed equally apprehensive about it.
As soon as the thought came into his head, he knew he was going to regret saying it. An angry dizziness shook him. “You can come with me to church to confess your sins,” he told Ike.

ikekei-11:
Riku tilted his head and stood up. Siren holds Kiyoteru’s hand,“I know what happened. You’re sick. Nii-chan got sick sometimes and he smells like you…Well, kinda. I’ll bring you to the table.” They walked towards the dining area.
They can hear Riku yelped in excitement from the other room. Ike walked towards the dining area, holding his head while his other hand is holding Riku’s hand. He only has his pants on. “…I don’t want to wake up.” He looks at Kiyoteru, his expression changed to guilty. “I thought you left? Ah…your phone and glasses.” He took them out from his pocket. “You left it in my room.”
Mrs Nazo and Mrs Kei looked at both of them. “What happened last night?” Mrs Kei asked. “Both of us got drunk. I offered him to sleep in my room but he refused to and he left his stuffs in my room and went straight to the living room.” Ike sat on the chair. Riku followed him, sitting next to him. “Sensei, sit next to me!” Riku said cheerfully. Mrs Nazo served them pancakes. “That’s all I can cook.”
Kiyoteru took his phone and glasses back from Ike, putting them back on. Ah, much better. Strange how they were in Ike’s room, though.
He listened to Ike’s story. There was something deeply suspicious about being offered to sleep there, especially considering the fact that they were drunk. A slight shiver went down his spine, and he held himself. No, he’s a friend. That’s such a crazy, unrealistic idea.
Kiyoteru took the seat that Riku offered, and said, “Itadakimasu” as the pancakes were offered.

ikekei-11:
Riku blinked at him with confusion, he doesn’t understand anything that Kiyoteru is talking about.
Mrs Kei smiles,“Why, of course. You can come here whenever you want. You are always welcome.” She said. “Hmm,I guess Ike is still asleep. I’ll go wake him up.” Mrs Kei turned away and went upstairs.
Siren looked at her teacher,“Sensei, you have a weird smell.” Riku pouted,“Siren is rude! Sensei smells nice!” He hugged Kiyo’s arm. Siren pouted back,“Kids at your age doesn’t know what rude is! I’m being honest!” Siren turns to Kiyoteru, “Sensei, do you want anything else?”
Kiyoteru nodded a quick thanks as Mrs. Kei left to get Ike.
“Do I?” he said, sniffing his own shirt. The smell was a combination of Korean food, alcohol, and some other musky scent. He definitely needed a shower and change of clothes. Maybe he ought to go home later to do that before heading out again. This really wasn’t his Sunday best.
“There’s nothing else I need,” he answered, removing Riku in order to stand up and find the breakfast table.

ikekei-11:
“Good. I guess I’m safe from getting killed.” Kuma walked away, she doesn’t care much about her teacher. Mrs Nazo followed her youngest daughter, wondering about her grades.
Mrs Kei blinked and smiles, “I’m sorry for calling you an intruder. I think we have some aspirins in the kitchen…” She wondered. Siren raises her hand,“I’ll go get it! The things nii-chan always take when he is sick?” Siren asked. Mrs Kei nodded. “Yes, Siren.”
Mrs Kei looked at the clock,“Hmm…it’s 7 in the morning right now. Oh, you’re Catholic? I see…” Riku climbed the couch and sits next to Kiyo, “Sensei…What is church?” He asked.
If it was seven, then service has already started, and Kiyoteru would arrive late. He sighed and resolved to wait until the next mass, which would be from 11 to noon. “It’s a religious place, for Christianity,” he explained to Riku. “Similar to the shinto temples, but different. The one I go to is near the park. My father is a priest there.” Kiyoteru wondered whether or not to explain the religion- he didn’t want to come off as preachy.
Siren came back with aspirin and water, which Kiyoteru thanked her and Mrs. Kei for. “Would it be alright if I stayed for breakfast?” he asked. “And, where’s Ike?”
He realized that he also couldn’t find his phone.

ikekei-11:
Mrs Kei backs away,“How did you know my son’s name?” Mrs Nazo cracks her fist. “Explain to me now. How did you get in?” Before Mrs Nazo could do anything to him, the three kids went downstairs.
“Mom, what happened–” Kuma flinched when she saw Kiyoteru. “Hm? Did something happened–Oh my. Are you…?” Before Siren could end her words, Riku interrupted. “Teacher!! Mr Hiyama!!” Riku said with excitement. He hugged Kiyoteru, ignoring the smell of booze on him.
“Please don’t tell me it’s Parent-Teacher’s day…. I don’t wanna die yet.” Kuma gulped, thinking about her grades.
“Good morning, Riku,” Kiyoteru greeted, smiling at the young child, recognizing him once he was closer.
“It’s not parent teacher day yet,” he also said, to quell the nerves of the other kid in the room. He started to feel embarrassed- students were seeing him in a state like this.
“I had dinner with Ike last night, and, well...” he began to explain. “Do you have anything for hangovers?” He stood up from the floor, but sat down on the couch. “And what time is it? I might be able to make it to church on time...”
Dinner. (closed RP)
ikekei-11:
Mrs Kei and Mrs Nazo walked downstairs, they were talking about what to cook for breakfast. Mrs Nazo walked straight to the kitchen but Mrs Kei went to the living room, she wanted to turn the radio on. While walking towards the radio, she saw Kiyoteru sleeping on the couch. She screamed.
Mrs Nazo freaked out and scurried to the living room,“The hell happened?!” She looked at the couch. “Intruder!!” She shouted. She pulled Kiyoteru off the couch.
Kiyoteru’s head hit the floor with a loud thud, and if the yelling didn’t wake him up, that surely did. He yelled in pain, scrambling to sit upright.
“I-I’m not an intruder!” he tried to explain. “This is Ike’s house, right?”
The headache was getting worse now. It was hard to focus or remember what happened the night before. Kiyoteru was drinking, that explained the headache. He had dinner with Ike and woke up on a couch. That person must be someone in Ike’s family.
He couldn’t find his glasses, though.
Dinner. (closed RP)
ikekei-11:
After they kissed,Ike looked down at Teru and smiles. “But we’re already close.” Ike rests his forehead on Kiyo’s forehead. He kisses the brunette lips, passionately. Even though it’s sloppy but he likes it.
Ike’s hands roam on Kiyoteru’s chest, his hands stopped at the buttons on his shirt and starts to unbuttoned it, making his neck and collarbone visible to him. He kisses Kiyoteru’s neck. How long has it been since the last time he had sex? 9 years ago? And that wasn’t even with a guy.
Ike felt happy he’s making out with the guy that he loves and this’ll be the first time he’s having sex with a man but deep down, he’s still scared with the outcome.
And so Kiyoteru succumbed to his own drunken lust.
(( Explicit depictions of this scene will not be posted to this blog, though potentially off-site. ))
It was the wee hours of the morning.
Kiyoteru, struck with the beginnings of a headache, woke up in his underwear next to Ike. He found his clothes and put them back on, then wandered around this unfamiliar house. Fatigue returned, and he fell asleep again on the couch downstairs.
