So lots of people wanted to hear the tips my teacher shared; here ya go
To lose weight overnight, he has his team skip dinner and lunch, and wear as much as possible, he said he had had cases where they would wear heavy snowsuits and duck tape the openings of the legs and arms, and then wear shirts upon shirts and pants underneath to sweat everything out. He uses this method for people who need to drop pounds overnight
If u are hungry he says to suck on a lemon, because the acid of the lemon has the same effect of brushing teeth, u don’t want to eat afterwords because of it’s intensity of taste
He has his athletes go 5 days STRICTLY eating only fruits and veggies. This makes ur body immediately worry, and think ok great but where’s the protein, where’s the meat? To compensate, ur body starts taking meat from the body, the fat. The 6th day, he has all of them have a big steak dinner(for vegetarians he makes alterations, really just a big protein filling meal). This wakes ur body up as if it’s saying oh great back in track, but no. You don’t stop there, u do the same thing again, and more fat can be lost. It’s basically tricking ur body into taking off flesh off ur body,
He says cardio is great, but to burn more calories and fat, strength training is key
He says to cut out sugar and focus on whole food groups
His training consists of: 15-20 min of running laps, then they stretch and do a circuit, ropes, bar with no weight(just the bar of it), lots of lunges, jumps, and just normal strength training stuff
Definitely invest in a sweatsuit, he says that a large percentage of people are water weight
Stretching is key
He has people go no more than a day(not even really, more like skipping lunch and/or dinner) without eating to drop, In Order to sustain a good metabolism
He makes it a rule that no one on the team is allowed to have food at practice or on the bus or anything, because of the temptations of people cutting. So just try to distance urself from food
Plan ur day around activities, not food; so like, wake up, shower, go to school, stay after school to study and do homework, go home, shower, clean room, etc etc etc
It’s most effective to work out/train with some kind of mentor, so I suggest talking to ur gym teachers, or coaches in ur school,
As I talk to him more, I’ll continue to add to the list, thanks for the interest and stay safe
Tips For Those Who Have An Eating Disorder:
- Your body doesn’t change instantly. You will not gain/lose a significant amount in one day, two days, etc. Everything takes time.
- Breakfast (breaking your fast from the day prior) is your new best friend. It doesn’t have to be an early breakfast but whatever you eat to start the day. Eat something nutrient dense and avoid junk or drinking 0 cal beverages (besides water/coffee or tea). This starts your day of eating more positively and can help you avoid those “bad” cravings.
- Carbs and fat are better than sugar. Point blank: Protein > nutrient dense fats / carbs > grains > sugar + refined foods
- Obviously the basics. Vitamins (b-12, multivitamin with iron etc). Sleep (7-10hr). Water (1-3L). These are essential (if you’re lacking proper nutrition).
- Eating enough (at least over 500 calories) will never prove you wrong. It’s essential for muscle and functional energy.
- Eating more frequently instead of higher calorie food/meals all at once. This helps curve intense cravings and maintain your metabolism.
- Keep your metabolism functional (especially if you under-eat) by eating higher calorie one day or varying calorie intake in general.
- Strength Training is more effective than cardio. Muscle burns more calories than fat on a daily basis. Toning your muscle also avoids the muscle being used as a source of energy.
- Eating over 1000 calories will not make you gain weight. On average 1400 is considered a minimum bases for those looking to slowly lose or maintain weight. Some people need 2000+ calories a day.
- If you are about to binge eat something healthy first. Even if you think it’ll be pointless or just add more calories in the end. If your body is deprived or starving it will never be satisfied. Try eating something healthy and talking yourself through what you’re eating (what it tastes like/feels like etc). Try to eat one thing at a time and concentrate on it to avoid a fast mindless binge.
- Increase your calories gradually with healthy foods (ex: start using protein powder in your smoothie, eat lean meats, beans/nuts/seeds instead of just vegetables, add healthy oil or real butter while cooking. These little things will help fill you up and eat less garbage in the long run. Don’t think of it as “unnecessary calories” but instead of a suppressant for cravings and speed-booster in your metabolism.
- Pickles help with suppressing appetite before a binge. Plus pickles tastes sooooo good
- Anti-inflammatory foods helps with bloating and digestion.
- Fasting leads to bloating and low energy, starving leads to binging and potential of losing control in the future - which is why it’s better to find healthier alternatives to what you want instead of restricting them all together
- Fasting 12-16hr can be great for health and can help with weight loss if you’re eating moderately throughout your “eating window”.
These are just a few tips!! I hope they helped :-)

Informative post vol 2.
I can’t stress enough the importance of this.
Okey, so let’s talk a little bit about “omg I gained 3 pounds overnight what the hell, I’m so fat”
So i can’t really understand this logic, maybe because I learn about human body in my uni like all the time, but I just wanted to say:
General overview is this: You are literally a hole. It starts with your mouth, it ends with your anus. Your other organs and body fat are surrounding this hole. When the food moves through this “pipe” your body is absorbing nutriens, kcal and water. What it can’t absorb - mostly fiber - stays in the pipe and turns into poop. This is why they say fiber is good for you, it’s kind of uncloging your digestive system.
So imagine two scenarios. First: you ate one piece of cake which was like 500 kcal and had almost no fiber. Then you didn’t poop. The next morning your weight stays the same/ lower - you stayed under the caloric limit, and almost no fiber stayed in your digestive track. Ok, now let’s imagine you eat, let’s say, 500 kcal worth od apples (it’s probably like 6-8 apples, depemding on a size). You also ate 500 kcal, but your fiber intake is much higher. Then you didn’t poop. Next morning… You gained! But it’s not fat. And you ask yourself what the hell, I only ate 500 kcal, and just apples, that are suppose to be healthy! Well - now you know - it’s fiber, staying in your system.
And now I want to talk about getting enough fiber in your diet.
Especially if you are low-restricting, please take caution and add fiber to your diet. I promise you, you won’t gain fat because of this and it can literally save you from many diseases even like colorectal cancer. If you experience not being able to poop for a couple or days, or even a week, it probably means you really should get your fiber. All the “poop” is still in your guts, and it also makes your weight - much higher and you - bloated. Defecation is really important, so please don’t underestimate it.
If you eat mostly whole, plant-based foods you should be ok, but here is a list od high fiber foods:
So here are foods with high fiber:
- Split peas 16g/cup
- Lentils 15.5g/cup
- Black beans 15g/cup
- Baked beans 10g/cup
- Chia seeds 10g/ounce
- Green peas 9g/cup
- Raspberries 8g/cup
…and many many more.
Disclaimer: I would love to see you all recover. To be able to eat with your friends. But i know some of you won’t do this, so at least please, please, if you can do anything to do this more safely - do this.
Pardon my english, it’s not my native.
If you’d like to add something or you don’t agree on something please correct me in the coments/reblogs.
