One Fine Day at Pink Beach Lombok: a Virgin Beach
Have you heard about pink beaches in the world? They are only 10 in the world and two of them are in Indonesia (Lombok Island and Komodo Island)
As you know, it’s a little bit hard to have a vacation in Indonesia because there are no public transportation that connect the attractions. You must rent a car (or book a trip) ((that costs more expensive)) (((it sucks since i’m a backpacker))).
I was so lucky because my dad has lived there, so i didn’t need to book for hotel whatsoever.
So i’ll tell you guys how to manage your one day trip to Pink Beach Lombok by yourself .
Tangsi Beach as known as Pink Beach Lombok is located in East Lombok. The way to go there is very terrible. You need to drive for almost 3 - 4 hours with big holes on the path. There is no hotel near the beach (as you know is a virgin beach)
(i think the google maps is lying) ((coz the road condition))
IT’S BETTER TO GO THERE by a RENT (FISHERMAN) BOAT. It costs around 700k rupiahs(S$70)/each boat.
If you want to rent a boat you need:
Go to Dermaga Tanjung Luar. (its 1.5-2 hours from Mataram by car)
Rent a boat.
ps: you need to go to the Dermaga Tanjung Luar before 8 am from Mataram. You can also enjoy 5 attractions by boat like Pink Beach 1, Pink Beach 2, Pulau Pasir, Gili Sunut, Gili Gambir.
in Pink Beach 1, you can have lunch with grilled fishes.

ENJOY!
Tree Top Walk Macritchie Singapore
(pict from google)
I went there today.
And you know what?
it closed.
THIS IS REMINDER FOR YOU GUYS IF YOU WANT TO VISIT THIS PLACE.
DIRECTION TO THE TREE TOP WALK MACRITCHIE SINGAPORE.
Take a walk from the Venus Loop Trail because it’s the nearest path. (only around 3.7km)
You can use bus and stop at Opp Fiber Garden or Flame Tree Pk.
if you want, you can start your journey from Macritchie Reservoir (6.7km)
First Week in Singapore!
if you all guys bet that i had a lot of good time here. I would say, just so - so. My first week in Singapore wasn’t so bad, but also wasn’t good too. I miss my hometown of course. I really miss my mom and my (cute) lil sister ((also my dad, because he lives far away)). There are many things that you can’t find it here. For example “free smile” from strangers. i miss Indonesian habits and friendly people. Hohoho.
So, i had strange accidents here (actually it didn’t happen to me //Praise the Lord//) but i just saw it.
First i want to share about my trip before. I went to Singapore just by myself on Sunday May 28th 2017 and it was my first trip too to go overseas alone. My flight wasn’t good because the weather and there were so much clouds there. My plane was shocking almost all the time. But my trip wasn’t scared at all. The immigration staff didn’t ask me about anything. ANYTHING! and he talked to me with Bahasa Indonesia (or maybe with Melayu). i thought he was thinking if i am an Indonesian worker!!
Before i had gone to the immigration, i helped a woman from Pontianak to fill her embarkation card. This was her first time too to go overseas by herself (but she had gone to Hongkong too for holiday) ((and she also spends a month at Singapore)). I helped a man to do his embarkation card too, he needs to go to Singapore for school supplement but it was kinda weird because he didn’t know how to fill the embarkation card(??) But its okay, maybe he didn’t do any research before.
The driver was late to pick me up, but it was totally okay, i waited him like only 30 minutes alone.
There was a funny part, when i was waiting alone, two women from Indonesia asked me about the pick-up. I said “yes, i wait for someone who is gonna pick me up”. And she asked again, “where do i come from, am i a student or a worker?” i said i am a student here. After that, they just went away and left me alone. i thought again, maybe they were thinking if i am a Indonesian’s worker too. I know at that time i was so ugly and messy, i didn’t use any make up even powder and lipstick or lip balm! So, you can imagine how bad my face at that time!!
Finally, my picker(??) arrived at the airport and brought me to my homestay. There was nothing happen after that. I met my roommate, she is a japanese. Then, my friend and i had lunch together. I ate pasta, i actually didn’t like it because it too sour and my bounce was like a little bit hurt. i spent my first day at Singapore just for sleeping. When i wake up, i saw my new roommate from Brazil. we introduced our self and had dinner together.
My homestay’s mother gave me the mrt card and mrt map after dinner. There was nothing to do after all. i laid in my back and slept. it was my first day. just so - so. My Brazilian roommate came to our homestay at evening when i was sleeping. I share my room with Japanese (two days later she moved to other homestay because she has problem with this house) and Brazilian.
The next day, i went to do something for the next 28 days routine. So, this is my first time to use the MRT and other public transportations. I want to tell you guys about the accidents that happened this week:
First Day
When i was going back to my homestay, i saw a baby in troller felt down from the escalator in Dhoby Ghaut Station.
Second Day
When i was going back to my homestay, i saw a woman felt down from the stairs in Yio Chu Kang Station. (But she was totally okay, only small wound)
Third Day
When i was in my way to come back home, i saw an old woman had pinched her arms in the train. She was crying and was talking with Mandarin so i could not understand her.
Fourth Day
My roommate’s (Brazilian) Godson passed away😭. She had told me about her Godson and Goddaughter the day before. And this day, i heard this information. I felt so bad. Deep condolences
Fifth Day
This was my unlucky day. I felt unhealthy after went around Arab Street, was really really bad and dizzy, I lost my bottle (and I found it in my school) ((THANKS GOD THE ALMIGHTY)) because i don’t need to buy water ((it costs 2dollars i can’t afford!!!))
THAT’S ALL MY FIRST WEEK(DAYS) IN SINGAPORE.

Ayes
So you have failed? You have not failed: you have gained experience.
