Freddie Mercury talking about Queen getting stuck in an elevator (interview from 1984)
Firefighter demonstrates how to put out a kitchen fire
Reblog to actually save a life
To explain. The latter works because you’re cutting off the supply of oxygen to the fire and suffocating it
as opposed to slapping oxygen inside the pan with the downward motion
Reblogging, because this is so important. When I was learning how to cook for myself in my tweens, I had at least a five years of fire safety seminars from school drilling this into my head, and I STILL had that instinctive put-the-fire-out-with-water reflex. Didn’t even think. I saw our oily burner catch fire after frying eggs, whipped around towards the sink for water, and my brain immediately screamed NO!!! NO WATER! I mean that fire safety stuff straight up bitchslapped me out of REFLEXIVELY setting my house on fire. I found a pot lid and inched it over the burner before turning off the heat. Even if you think you know this stuff, panic is powerful shit. Make knowledge more powerful.
“Even if you think you know this stuff, panic is powerful shit. Make knowledge more powerful.”
I had a similar thing with safety falling in gymnastics! We would spend about ten minutes once a month just practicing falling. Every time I fell(a lot) I would start to put my hands down then like “NO!” and bring them to my head. Half of my panic mid fall was “stop putting your hands down ur gonna break ur arms dumbass!!!!”

Rape Escape
Easy and very effective
Requires nothing but your body
Includes attack
Very useful to know, pass and share please.
Worth watching
I don’t mean to impose a personal favour on you guys, but I really would like to ask that everyone who follows me reblog this.
I don’t think I made it very clear but last month I was sexually assaulted by someone who I thought was my friend (I don’t want to talk about it don’t ask), and it’s… really fucked with my head.
Had I known this a month ago I would have been able to get away.
So, essentially, I’m really pleading with you to reblog this so everyone who follows you doesn’t get stuck in the same position I was with no way out.
I mean again I don’t want the point of this to be my sob story or whatever but if you could reblog this it would seriously mean a lot
and im asking to all of my followers who see this post in your dashboard to please press play to this video, you never know when this is gonna be
useful, PLEASE DON’T IGNORE IT.
This is one of the first moves I was taught in Krav Maga, and it is one of the most effective.
It took me about a half hour to get down with practice, but once you get it, it’s an intuitive movement.
Please pass this along, it will save lives.
Important
Please reblog this.
Please, if you see this, Reblog it.
If you see this, reblog please.
not witchy but definitely worth watching, stay safe
If you follow me, REBLOG THIS
Reblogging for those that'veever needed this and not had it and for those that I hope will never need to use it. Stay safe

The History of Croats and Ballon d’Or
In 1998, Davor Šuker was the first Croat to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or.
In 2013, Mario Mandžukić was on the 30-man shortlist, therefore being the first Croat to do that in 15 years.
In 2015, Ivan Rakitić was nominated and ended up 23rd with 0.05% of the votes.
In 2016, Luka Modrić took 1 point.
In 2017, he was once again nominated and took 84 points, ending up fifth.
It’s 2018 and not one, not two, but three Croats are nominated: Mario, Luka and Ivan.
