Spirulina: this was actually a commission from a friend for a dnd character! She has a jellyfish attached to her brain and lived underwater for many years. And that quote "made her weird"

Bree: This is one of my Guardians as apart of one of my worlds and an oracle deck I'm working on. She's the writing Guardian, helps push for writing advancements and give writers ideas. When getting ref ideas, I did not know of the Egyptian writing god and I found it fun that I landed in a similar idea lol. Clothing and bird (Crested Ibis) I chose are of Chinese origin since they're credited with modern writing. And I loved my idea of a scroll dress, it turned out so good! For how much I doubted myself through this drawing (from general poor mental health) I'm quite happy with the design now!

Idris: a redesign of a bug goddess I have. She was originally based on a dream I had and now inspired by prehistoric bugs I could find. Right image is the old design. You can still see hints of it in the new design. The colors were based on the fact of how many insects are found in amber :3. Decided to remove all humans from this world, just insects, giant insects, and humanoid insects (bug with human ish proportions, not human with bug features)

Of course I had some fun messing with experimental art again, but at this point I think this developing into a new style with how many experimental pieces I've done lmao

Also the words in the background are "Killer" by Sorge and "Savior" by Meiers. Showing their different views of killing people. Meiers thinks he's saving them, though finds some joy in killing in general. And Sorge views them as murderers who are just doing what's necessary, not finding the same joy in the action as Meiers but likes seeing Meiers happy

Fun fact/ thought with ALT:

Meiers is an attack dog, and Sorge is a guard good. Meiers will just attack when he feels threatened in his definition of threatened (people existing near him usually) and will only back off when Sorge tells him to cool it but doesn't always listen. Sorge is more trained and only attacks in defense of themself and Meiers, otherwise won't attack unless Meiers gives them an order to, and will almost always follow through

My partner loves Whuckle! I've watched them play it for hours (and watched whuckle videos with her for hours) and recently when looking at the pipe cosmetic for the hammer, I commented that they could be Schaeffer! (with his love of using pipes lmao)

Xe commented how he's already gone through all this shit (climbing around and going through vents)

And that got me thinking about putting him in the Whuckle world :3333333

And I might do a drawing too, we'll see, been hit with horrid fatigue and lethargy (hot as hell here, in the 90-100⁰ kill me) so doing anything has been really difficult

I will be bitching on main cuz I think its incredibly funny to watch 10 chambers make another meme contest, have plentiful amount of people NOT show a liking to it, and instead ask WHY they're doing it with a game they've said they will no longer be working on.

Ive read TOS, I've read all the posts, understood what i needed to do. Deadline is on June 9th right>? And on their TOS it states, "Winners will be chosen within 7 days after the contest" <--[Not exact but it still stated winners would be chosen basically after a week] It has been now 2 WEEKS. And retweeted smt where someone asked about the winners on their social media. ALSO. Someone has asked on the steam discussion from the original post and all we got was an answer back on June 23rd [A Tuesday] being told winners are being chosen this week. [Its currently 27th, Saturday.] Now. While I still hold gtfo dear to my heart I will never lie and say I dont think 10 chambers is. A Company. That Certainly Do Stuff. A lot I dont agree with, a lot I have issues with. A lot I find very frustrating when your own community continues to make their feelings clear and you seemingly outright ignore that to just shove another funny meme competition to a game that hasnt gotten a big update since the release of Rundown 8 >? [2024] Get a fuckin grip.

I also entered the competition mostly for the Art print because they got rid of their posters at some point and the prints were expensive as hell. There isn't even a merch store anymore

It's so clear their trying to redirect the community to dow instead of listening.

I also played modded for the first time recently. It's insane how not suffocated I feel now with basic ass fixes and having the bots fucking work. Why can't they just take those mods and make them official patches. They won't. Won't admit that their game isn't fun based on being difficult alone. They'd have to admit that these bugs aren't features.

I too love this game dearly. I wouldn't keep coming back if I didn't. Though I think I've gotten more joy from the community surrounding it than the game itself. Met my partner, we have our boys, I've been drawing and writing more, gained 2 new friends. And yet I play the game maybe twice a month.

Part of me still holds hope but it's unrealistic. Dow is the new favorite. The better of the two. The wanted one. Forgetting about the one who taught them their lessons, that gave them the chance to do dow. Were the neglected first child. The test run. Left to our own devices and to figure it out

I made this post because I am disabled and no matter how much I practice there are some games I will never be able to play because I physically cannot move my fingers the way you have to and the responses to this post from other disabled people, people who grew up unable to play video games, and people who just aren’t very good at them has been extremely enthusiastically positive, while people who apparently can’t conceive of the idea that some people will never be good at gaming condescendingly comment, tag or send me asks telling me to try easy mode or to get good despite the fact that the feature I’m describing already exists in some games and mods. if you’re part of the latter group, consider that some of us can not ever be good at video games and we still deserve to be able to participate and have fun

Ok, real talk, if you play PC games I use a program called Wemod that has settings for almost every game ever and you can change them to suit your needs Unlimited health? one hit kill? unlimited items? They can’t mod multiplayer games, but every genre of game imaginable is on Wemod so I use it for everything from stardew valley, subnautica, hades, farming sim and more! It mods the games to your level of ease without needing to mess with any files or get deep into webpages for mods yourself It is a life changer

There are so many reasons why someone wouldn’t want to be challenged by a game, and it’s ridiculous that people can’t fathom someone requiring a different gameplay than themselves. 

Back in the dark ages when I was a kid and we got our first computer, my dad noticed that I was sad because I wanted to play computer games like him, so he would let me play his games in god mode. Should a five year old have been playing Ultimate Doom? Absolutely not. Did I enjoy the shit out of it, particularly the part where I couldn’t die and could just wander around aimlessly machine gunning demons to death with no real goal in mind? Hell yes.

Also, no one should have to explain the reason they want to play the game in god mode.

That is absolutely none of your business, if someone wants to play the game with max items, weapons, armor, money etc., whatever reason they’re playing that way for. It’s THEIR game, and THEIR gameplay experience. and I hope OP was able to play their game the way they wanted to without being stymied by the games mechanics.

Recently been working on changing Sorge up a bit (felt he was too similar to myself, was based off my sona. Working on making them their own being)

The changes :3

- Sorge was more aware of what Santonian was doing and was an active participant in reporting people in all timelines (Alt was aware what those actions resulted in and didn't hide it)

- Sorge abuses drugs as a result of stress and having worked with shady people before Santonian who did shady things, they had access to drugs. He willingly uses the syringes but Schaeffer definitely encourages the behavior. They still have their medical trauma so a lovely dichotomy

- less stuttery, and more open about his thoughts but still pretty quiet and closed off

- Sorge doesn't start a protest, they just get overheard saying something bad about Santonian and gets reported, like he was doing

- him and Schaeffer get into fights more when Meiers comes around, starting when Henricksson joins actually, Sorge feeling pushed aside for the "new toy" feeling like they lost a person that was supposed to be his friend

And I've been adding more changes. Maturing him and making him a character I'm proud of

Alt has helped in showing I prefer when Sorge is more himself and blunt. Not anxiety ridden. When he's more capable I think. Idk

Mostly cause it was experimental so it was easier to be loose and chaotic with it. I like experimental stuff, let's me be chaotic without trying to stay within my normal style and gives me a chance to find things to add to my style :33333

But yea, Alt Sorge having a really bad time in a nightmare about mutating more! Fun times!

Fun fact: Around the time I was lining the lungs, that night I had a gas leak! So my own lungs got a bit fucked up. I'm okay now, yesterday was hell but doing better now. Me, the adults, and pets are all okay. But I swear this mf cursed me lmao /silly
