Well, mostly good vibes. Pure seemed... a bit intimidated by the creature now. Not because of anything size-related, no; the vessel still towered over the Sylveon. Rather, it was because the transformation had not only seemed so sudden, but had been accompanied by quite the harsh (in Pureโs mind, at least) white glow.
Was this... normal? Was their pet okay? They shakily reached out their one hand, seeming ready to retract it at any moment if needed.
Why did they have to be just a tool? A failed, broken tool, at that? One who hadnโt even been able to do the job they had been made for, not even for a little while? Why couldnโt they have been a perfect, normal child?ย
They didnโt actually deserve to be here, did they? That was what the vessel was contemplating now, staring at their own reflection in the depths of the Blue Lake. The way their bandages wrapped around their shell, keeping the broken fragments in place... it made them feel almost nauseous right now as dark tears spilled down the front of their mask.ย
