//He does actually! If he’s feeling particularly difficult he’ll have his cooks work themselves to the bone preparing tremendously excessive feasts, then he’ll sit and eat until he’s satisfied. 

He doesn’t need to eat or drink and he can’t get drunk. Exdeath only does this because he can, and because it deprives very many people of food put to better use.
