Today I will be writing about a backpack I’ve received from Gaston Luga!
They have different models of backpacks catered for both males and females. However, I chose this model because I really wanted a travel bag and iI found this the most suitable.
It is designed in Sweden, and as shown in the tag, from Stockholm. The first time I used this bag was for travelling, but after I came back, I brought it to school with me too.
I have heard that this bag is also great as a mum bag and even a gym bag and therefore would make a practical gift just about anyone.
I brought this bag with me while I was in Russia and Tallinn and it was super spacious and perfect for travelling!
What I love the most about this backpack is the slot that is found at the back of the canvas bag, which is just the correct size to fit my passport.
Apart from using it to store my passport, you can also put other important things like cards or cash.
The fact that it is situated at the back of the bag makes it very safe, since it will not be accessible to anyone while you are carrying it, and pickpockets will not be able to take it! For the price that you will pay, the bag is really well made and of good quality. When I received the bag, I did not find any loose threads on it. The straps of the bag are also secured by holes and hooks, the holes are surrounded by metal to reduce wear and tear.
The front of the bag also has a keyring holder for your keys!
The bag itself is are 28 x 42 x 14 cm. It contains 1 big compartment, 1 for a laptop and 2 additional smaller compartments. It’s perfect for someone like me who likes to throw everything into 1 big space, especially when you’re on the go. To close the big commpartment, it is secured by a drawstring.
To close and secure the bag, you can hook it to 3 different slots, the middle being the most “loose”, in which you can use if you know that you’re going to be opening and closing the bag often. For me, I use the other 2 (top most and bottom most), the most often as the slots are much tighter, for security during travelling.
At the base of the bag, there are also metal studs to ensure that your bag is protected when you place it on the ground.
I really like the design of the bag, it is sleek and useful. The flap and base of the bag is made of thick leather while the bag itself is canvas. That way, it is soft and can fold depending on the items you put in it. The straps are also canvas to ensure comfort.
