the zethrid/keith scene was SUCH a missed opportunity to parallel a canon wlw couple with, what would become, a canon mlm couple. zethrid saying “i knew you‘d come. now you’ll feel what i felt” makes No sense for acxa. sure her and keith are kindred spirits as bex put, but who would truly feel the loss of keith the same way zethrid felt ezor’s? even on a non-romantic level. keith is shiro’s person through and through and threatening him with keith’s death, later to have him save keith makes leagues more sense than the wildly ooc nonreaction they actually gave shiro. and it would also serve to tie up nicely the fact that they “save each other”
