(idk abt you but i saw this scene like this and thought allura could’ve chosen different words or said things in a different tone - though ofc i understand her effort of making him feel better but in situations like this its best if she said nothing. and even if patricide is very typical in most stories i believe that in this moment lotor wasn’t all act. i mean he cares abt his parents - he’d love to have a normal family and live in a normal unproblematic environment- but looking at how things are he had no other choice.)
