Technically Keith lived on campus at the Garrison dorms, but according to him his roommate was a “pretentious asshat”, so he spent a lot of nights at home with Shiro and Adam

Keith and Adam would play rock, paper, scissors to see who gets Shiro’s undivided attention for the night

Keith totally gave Adam the “if you hurt him, I hurt you” talk and somehow managed to be a tad threatening (????) despite his small stature and also the fact that he was like, twelve, at the time

Fourteen, Keith would hiss, and hit Adam with a pillow, I’m fourteen! Almost fifteen! I’m not that young!

(but in Adam’s defense, Keith insisted on carrying that knife around wherever he went, and they once caught him throwing it at the dartboard from the other side of the room and hitting the bullseye, so Adam felt that a touch of caution when it came to Keith’s threat was pretty damned warranted)

Concept: ADHD Lance is great with social cues and l o v e s talking so whenever Keith isn’t getting a joke or pop culture reference or what someone means by something he’ll jump in to explain. Meanwhile Autistic Keith is great with details and if Lance ever zones out during mission briefings Keith can give him a nice, clear summary of what he missed and what he needs to do. They stand near each other in most social situations so that if one of them ever gets confused the other is right there to help out (or share a look of mutual confusion with).
