Okay so I have no idea if I'll ever properly return to this tumblr (sorry guys),
however, it's hard to find gifs of Volstagg and Ray Stephenson (and they're taking up space tbh) so I'm going to dump them right here for anyone else who wants to play him:

With a heavy sigh, Volstagg downed the rest of the amber liquid of what he assumed (he had lost count ages ago) was his 42nd pint. To put it simply, he was lamenting; he had not seen any of his friends in some time, including his fellow Warrior’s Three. In truth, Volstagg had no idea as to their location, and he was sure they were having plenty of fun without him. Sitting in a pub was the only thing that gave him any form of entertainment or comfort without them, as little as it was.
Hogun found that his brethren were keen to drift apart when they were not all together. It happened on occasion, especially when Fandral was off..entertaining a woman or three on his own. Finding Volstagg for himself is the easy part. No swaying the other to come home and sleep off his drinks was another matter. Walking in to the pub, clothing casual, the jeans and jacket fitting even to someone so used to his Asgardian armor.
“Volstagg, my friend. How curious to find you here by your lonesome, did you get bored of the Warrior’s company my friend?”
For a moment, Volstagg looked back at the bottom of his empty glass as if to search for answers. He couldn’t have been that inebriated with so few drinks in him! When he looked back up at Hogun, he raised a brow at the unusual attire and cleared his throat. “Hogun? Is that really you?” He barked out a laugh and stood to lift his friend into a mighty hug. “I was not bored at all! I thought the two of you had left me behind for good this time!”
Hogun tensed as he was picked up into his friend’s arm. His arms wiggled free and he pat Volstagg heartily on the shoulders. “Of course it’s me, my large friend. Who else would know how to follow your trails of sorrow to this pub?” He asked, grinning and eyeing the rows of glasses. “How much have you had to drink already? 100 pints?”
“Not even half!” Volstagg admitted as he set Hogun back on his feet. The excitement died down a little, but he still managed a smile as he asked, “Trails of sorrow? Is it really so obvious?” He shook his head. “It’s really no fun without any of you, after all. Can you blame me for coming here?”
“I blame you for not coming to get me and that is all.” He managed a small smile ad sat next to his friend, rubbing his back and forearm in appreciation as he gave another swipe of the room. “…Although…I am curious as to why you chose this establishment and not our usual hiding spot. Memories too harmful?” He asked, doing his best to keep the forlorn expression from his face.
"Potentially," Volstagg replied in all seriousness. "Perhaps I should end this now," he sighed, before his wide smile returned, "unless you prefer to join me. I cannot think of better ways to celebrate a reunion with a friend and fellow warrior as close as you, Hogun."
