“Then how come you don’t know her name?” Aster asked, as he had always prided himself on remembering everyone in his schools name as the ultimate sign of friendship. And he guessed the compound was kinda like his school now. “Tah-dah! Now just carry on like that and you’ll be golden.”
“Cause I don’t really bother to memorize everyone’s names. I probably couldn’t tell you but like 10 names of people here.” And one of those was probably his own. He wouldn’t admit it, but his memory also just sucked at times. Keeping focused on the game though, he continued to speak, not wanting to sound too rude. First impressions mattered for some reason. “Thanks, but I don’t think-” he paused to hit another couple moles that popped up. “it’ll be that easy.”
