A Carnival, interesting. It was something they never really had back home. Hunting festivals sure but those were typically meant to be a good time involving a lot of beer and controlling the animal population. This, however, this seemed more like a fair or something. Stands, booths, even places that looked like they were more for the kids than anything else. Looking around, Zach shook his head and thought out loud. "So, is this a stuffing your face time, or trying to find something fun to at least try and get into the spirit with?"

We're getting closer and closer to our carnival event here, so before it does, below the cut you’ll find a list of the different attractions ( rides, games, etc. ) that characters can sign up to assist with, if they so wish. Please remember that while posting starters or anything related to the carnival to use the tag UHQSEVENT1 or UHQSCARNIVAL, as we do not want the main event tagged to be used by members to prevent clogging. You’re more than welcome to make edits, polyvore outfits and more related to the event as well.

For each attraction, we’ll allow a total of 1-3 members max, some of course only needing one, if no one signs up for something, we can assume they’re taken by a NPC.

Alright, boring day almost over, Desiree was finally making her way to the haunted house. She was mostly on her way to find Elena, but she figured she could probably check it out while she was there. Besides, Elena was bound to be inside somewhere anyways. Walking into the dark place, she took a look around, the best she could anyways. She had always loved haunted houses when she was younger, so she hoped Elena and the others running it could really make this worth her time. Crossing her arms over her chest, she made her way further in.

Desiree couldn’t believe she actually came to the carnival. It was filled with people and felt even more crowded than the compound did. However, she had spoken to a few people and knew that her few friends would be here so she really didn’t want to be stuck at the compound all day by herself. Then she would really be bored. Making her way around the carnival, she kept her eyes out for any of them. Elena would probably be in the haunted house, so she knew she’d need to go there later, so she had planned on either finding Sloan or Dimitri, but spotting a familiar face in the crowd, she made her way over to someone else. “If it isn’t my future paintball buddy. Are you enjoying the carnival?”

     gaze fixated upon the rippling of small waves within the dunk tank, jt is --- for a lack of a better word --- captivated by the most minuscule of components, her reverie both wandering and stilled. although, jasmine is only snapped out of it by the time a force collides into her, prompting a spat out profanity, “shit!”

Finally, Fin was able to take a break from working the petting zoo. He loved the animals and all the kids and other mutants coming by to look, but he wanted to spend a little time with Stella at the carnival. Thankfully, he was able to get them a break together. He hadn’t gotten to go around and see everything yet, so he was pretty excited, and that could be seen in his expression, but at the same time, something else bubbled inside him. Nervousness. He had told Bridget he was going to tell Stella this week that he liked her and here it was, the end of the week and he had yet to say a word to her. He had been confident all week, but now, now that he was planning on doing it sometimes either today or tomorrow before the carnival ended, it felt weird. He didn’t let that cloud his excitement though. “Alright, there is so much to do. Do we want to do the games first? Ooh, or maybe we can ride some of the rides. Oh! There is also a face painting booth that Trinity is working. She is so good at art. We should definitely get our faces painted.” He probably sounded like a little kid, but he hadn’t been to a carnival in years and now that he was at one, he wanted to do everything. He had been able to keep the excitement on a low while he was working, well for the most part. The animals were really cute. “Oh, I also heard the food they’re serving today is actual food. I also heard it is delicious.” @stellacadwell
