♥ :Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.He dislikes that he’s greedy - despite a moral compass that usually keeps him out of trouble, Astor is prone to risks and putting others in jeopardy in pursuit of knowledge/power. It’s not something that he’s proud of, but the minute he thinks he can get an upper hand, he’ll grab for it - there’s an itch that he can’t scratch in terms of being content with his position in the world and it frustrates him that he can’t shake the urge off. He hates that he can easily block out his emotions if they get in the way of his actions.

☛ :What is their typical response to being given orders?  It depends on who’s doing the ordering. For the most part Astor is rather easy to sway if you hold a higher position of power than him - at the same time he’ll get rather irritated if someone gets bossy. Which leads to him doing what he’s told but doing a very bad job of it purposely. He’s more likely to be petty and awkward than refuse to do what he’s told outright.    If he recognizes someone as not being equal to or above him, he’ll probably just make a snarky comment about saying please. ❥ :Describe a verbal way they would express complete trust  It’s not often that he does express trust in any way, especially verbally. While he’s not exactly private, he does not talk about his emotions/feelings on matters – for a quick/small example, he’ll talk about a busy day but say nothing on how tired he is because of it. If he’s open about what he’s feeling, you’re likely to be someone that he trusts.

As he’d had his eyes fixed straight on his feet as he sped down the street, Daerad had also not been looking where he was going, mostly to avoid awkward eye contact with strangers.  Running into the stranger was probably inevitable, considering, and he staggered backwards a few steps before recatching his breath and looking up with widened eyes.

“S-sorry,” He muttered, rubbing his arm and looking away sheepishly, “I ww-wasn’t either.”

  The stammer and nervous demeanor was enough to curb any remaining anger in the Altmer; guilt immediately humbled him, staring back at the other blankly for a few moments. Astor was more speechless out of not knowing what to say than shock, but his face didn’t show that.      “Ah. I suppose that makes us both at fault.”     It’s all he can bring himself to say at first, standing up straight once the book had been collected and gathered to his chest. Amber eyes flick up and down the stranger, unsure of how to continue. By now he had no problem with the mer, though his attention was certainly on him.                    “--Are you alright?”

    Astor had been watching the  Dunmer for a while; though it had taken several drinks to get brave enough to approach him. Perhaps it was some sort of subconscious death wish - interacting with people like this. Surely even in a drunken state he would be able to pick better company. Less dangerous company. But curiosity pushed aside caution. 

   “Tell me – does it give you joy to scare people?”   At this point his words were slurred, body throwing itself down onto the closest empty chair.

  It wasn’t unusual for Astor to be in a hurry. The Altmer wasn’t looking where he was going - eyes instead glued to a tome that he was holding close to his chest. His neck craned and gaze low as he read,  Astor not seen the stranger coming - only felt his body collide with theirs. The journal was knocked out of his grasp.   “Bloody s’wit--!”     Irritation swelled up in his chest shooting the Dunmer a sharp stare as he craned over to snatch at the pages. the anger was short lived however, a slow exhale through gritted teeth marking his attempt at calming himself.                                “--Apologies. I wasn’t looking where I was going.”
