There is a library in Hithlum, near Hurin's house. Many people do not know anything about its existence but a few people love to visit this small library. There are parchments and books that contain the knowledge gathered by the wise women of the Edain. Huor and Hurin love to go there as often as they can because they can read the texts that many reveal everything about the dark days of the mortal men before they journeyed to Beleriand. Somehow, Morwen managed to preserve the knowledge of the Beorians, having listened to the tales of Andreth through the mouths of her people.
The dark days... Huor wondered if those dark days would come again but Hurin held a different opinion. But Morwen feared, and her fear was logical. It seemed that the dark days would come again. Huor had to agree with her on that because he knew. History could repeat itself. But Rian's smile could help him forget about that, he could forget, even for a short period of time, about war. Her smile could brighten the dark days, and he really needed to think that the happy days would last. Before the fall, he could be happy with her.
And the brothers admired Morwen for preserving the traditions and the knowledge of the Mortal Men. Especially the words and the wisdom of women like Andreth. Those women could reveal the truth to those who wantyed to remain blind, because they knew what had happened to their ancestors, and they knew what could happen in the near future. Morwen was a wise woman as well, because she knew that logic was important for one's survival. She was more logical than many people Hurin and Huor had met.
They were all young, but they could think more clearly than many people, because they already knew that this peace would probably not last. Morwen and Rian had already suffered after Dagor Bragollach, the Battle of Sudden Flame. But Hurin and Huor thought that it was worth fighting for those women. They did not have to suffer any longer. But it seemed to Huor that the sadness would last because the Valar had not intention of helping the Eldar and the Edain yet. They were left alone to suffer in the war against Melkor. But he had to hope for a better future, just like Hurin was sure that, one day, the Elves and Men would win the war.
I have a precious headcanon where Turin and Tuor meet and they are happy for a while, until they part their ways, and Tuor goes to Gondolin. It would be so nice to see Turin Turambar smile for once and Tuor see a family member after all those years of slavery and isolation.
I want to finish my master’s degree, so I would deeply appreciate if people donate to my cause.
//Hello, everyone! I guess it is the last time I a posting this campaign, but I really need help to finish my master's degree, so I would deeply appreciate any donations. If one cannot donate, they can reblog this post.
I am thinking of Gong Li as Morwen again. Thinking of Hurin's return.
//I would really like to see more art about Hurin and Huor interracting with each other. Not with elves but with each other or with their parents. I think that painters and writers need to explore the relationship between the brothers, because they were so close together, at least in their youth.
I want to finish my master’s degree, so I would deeply appreciate if people donate to my cause.
Please, help me finish my master's degree. If you cannot donate, reblog this post for visibility.
//I guess that it is easier to pay via paypal, so I am giving my link for my paypal in case anyone wants to donate for my studies:

Rian has some scars on her body. But the scars of her soul are the most difficult to handle. But Huor could make her laugh when he would talk about his own scars, as if they were not important at all. Somehow, he could ease her pain and help her forget about the past, the loss of her father.
It seemed that they could understand each other from the first moment because they lost so many friends and relatives in this terrible war. It was a part of their lives now and it seemed so difficult to escape from this world. But Huor could make fun of this problematic place, of this cruel life, and Rian wanted to laugh for once in her life.
Huor could see that she wanted to forget everything for a while and move on with her life. He knew that he could be there for her, just like Morwen was there for Rian. But he had misgivings about the future, as if he could foresee that nothing would last forever. Not for the mortals. But he was determined to protect her at all costs and be there for her.
For the mortals, every moment mattered because the end was always near. So, he decided to spend time with her because she was so adorable and different from him. Rian hated war because war was the reason why she had suffered so much. But Huor was a warrior and he knew that he would die sooner or later in a battle.
However, they could see each other's soul and understand each other perfectly. Huor could make her feel like she mattered because she was so kind and sweet. Rian was not as impressive as Morwen but her beautiful face mesmerized Huor and he knew that she was clever too. They could not be compared to Hurin and Morwen but they could be happy together.
When Tuor lived he his first days at Gondolin, he would hear so many tales about his father and his uncle. Uncle Hurin would spend time with Voronwe because they were both steadfast. But Huor would spend time with Galdor the elf because the latter shared the same name with the second Lord of Dor Lomin. Huor remember too vividly Galdor the Tall. And the elf had a similarity with the mortals' father.
They would speak to others in a similar way and their eyes were almost identical. Tuor loved Voronwe too much, just like his uncle did. But he also had a great love for Galdor. The Elves were great friends with him and he wanted to spend time with them. He loved them because they were different from the other Elves he had met in his life.
Tuor was not as hasty as his father. He could get angry but he learnt to be patient, to deal with his anger. Huor was wise, of course, but it was somehow difficult for him to control his feelings sometimes. But Rian was much calmer and she was kind by nature and by choice. She would make everyone happy with her sweet smile. Tuor smiled like his mother. And he had inherited her talent in music. But he had also inherited his fathers skills in battle.
And he looked like his father too much. When Tuor went to Gondolin, many people thought that Huor had been ressurrected or that he had somehow survived the Battle of Unumbered Tears. But Tuor's kindness made them think that he was also the son of his mother. It was easy for him to forgive but he could not forget his people's suffering. However, he could not go back to them anymore. He chose to live in Gondolin, whether the city would eventually be destroyed or not. Tuor wanted to be happy for once, to experience this unknown feeling. Because he had suffered too much and he thought that he deserved to be happy for once in his life.
Just like his parents used to be happy together.
What if Maglor sounds like Andrea Bocelli and nobody dares say that thing? Welcome to my world, it has been a pleasure.
Rian was proud of her husband, even though they were so different from each other. She could understand why he was a warrior, even though she hated war. She loved him to omuch that she could easily forgive the pride of the House of Hador that she could see in his eyes. Because Rian was glad to be with him and she knew that they wold eventually marry. Since Huor was in love with her, the wedding would take place soon.
But Rian had misgivings.
As if it was the last time when she would be happy. She could feel it coming, she could see the doom since this horrible war was still raging. She had heard the whispers, even though the ones close to her were not talking at all about that. But Rian was very intelligent she could hear the birds whispering about war and flying away from the North. She wished she could follow them to distant lands, to be there with Huor, the love of her life. But she knew the necessity of fighting to the end. Because she knew that the end was near.
She knew that Morwen was trying to calm her down.
But Rian could not calm down. When she was alone, she wantedv to cry but she had to hold back her tears. She knew that she had to wait for a long time until Huor would come back home. But he was not coming back home. And Rian was going insane since no news of the battle came. She was pregnant, and she did not know how to raise a child alone. She was scared of asking for help, even though she knew that she could rust Morwen, her dear cousin. But Rian could not utter a word because she did nto want to add to Morwen's pain.
The cousins did not know what to do.
Because no news were coming from the battlefield, and Morwen was trying to be hopeful. She was waiting to hear the rider and his stallion riding victorious, but Rian was hopeless. She could only recall the moment when she fleed from Dor-lomin and run away from home. Everything was empty, her heart was empty because she could not find Huor, the love of her life. And she was lost in the wilderness. She was somehow relieved when the Sindar Elves found her. She was hoping for news but it was horrible to hear Annael's words.
Because Huor was dead.
She flying like a bird, and she found herself on the Hill of the Slain. She could feel that her husband was there and she was in terrible pain for knowing that he was not alive anymore. But they were dead now, they were both dead. Huor was killed and Rian knew she was dying of grief. But she knew now. She knew the truth. Her son would bring hope to this world, and it did not matter if she was dead. Tuor, as his faher wanted the child to be called, would be the hero they wanted, he would bring the light in the darkness.

I know I am asking for too much, but I would deeply appreciate it if anyone can help.
"Wait, are you telling me that you lost sight of him? How is that possible? You hsould have followed him n order to protect him. I mean, he is too young to wander alone, and you should be there for him in order to protect him."
"He will come back soon. He only wanted to see Idril. Your son is coming back, though. He asked me not to say it but he will bring Idril with him, so you should be prepared to feel happy after a long time. I want you to smile for once."
"I see but I wanted to know where he is. You are forgiven, though, because you are a friend of mine. And I will be so happy to see Idril again. I have not seen her since I was 13 or 14 years old but I am sure she will be happy to see me too. Stay here so I can introduce you to her. You will like her too."
"I am sure you will be happy to see them again. And I will be glad to meet lady Idril. I want to see you happy because I have this feeling you are sad lately and I do not want you to feel like this. If you want to talk, let me know. I will listen to your problem and I will help you solve the issue that is tormenting you."
