a bit of a silly question, not sure if you already talked about it, but what is the relationship between the mayday trio and their swords? considering they own *the* sfoth swords, not only, they have a darkheart, an illumina, and whatever sword caleb has (i forgot i'm so sorry) like, would they actually know how to swordfight or do they just own them to brag about owning them? seems very fitting for them LOL but even then, i'm a bit curious :-)
Okay I wanted to explain the swords for a while.
Okay 1, the swords they have are technically not the actual SFOTH swords. Theres three types of SFOTH swords in existence.
1, The actual real, sentient swords, Shedletsky watches over them for safe keeping. They do eat away at the user, but due to Shed’s godlikeness, he’s fine.
2, The duplicates. They were tested to be on the market. Marginally less powerful, they have less extreme powers and they aren’t sentient.
3, The prototype duplicates. These were shelved because although they could strip it of its sentience, they are way too powerful to go on the market. They acts as parasites, eating away at their users, marking them and shortening their life span. There’s a few people that have them, but they’re strictly ever touched, usually kept in glass cases. Only about 30 were ever made.
Guess which ones MayDay stole. CORRECT NUMBER 3!!! They aren’t aware of the parasitic qualities until far too late.
Now how they use them/show them off.
Ellernate isn’t one to show things off. He uses it, a LOT, but when it’s not being used it sits besides his desk or bed for safe keeping.
Caleb meanwhile, is a show off. He would go into games (in universe they’re attractions you can attend) and scare people with it. Also threaten people to steal things blah blah blah Caleb is an asshole.
Itrapped doesn’t necessarily use it unless they go on missions, but he does Like to walk around with it. He didn’t want the Illumina like the others because he thought it looked gaudy, so he got the Darkheart instead. Wears it around like someone would an ultra rare Labubu
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk
