/Guess who’s certainly getting a hug?/ Vos! Welcome back! /Pharma pulled the gunformer into a tight embrace, wings fluttering and turbines whirring happily./ I’m so glad you’re alright! /They all were. The medic had missed Vos, only having met him for a brief time before the gun’s disappearance./

Yessss. Hug acquired. Vos hugged him back tightly, nuzzling into Pharma's chest. "Yes! Thank! Glad am back." Wing flutters! Vos reached out to touch one wing.

Oh! That was a familiar comm line. Not familiar-familiar, but, well, familiar enough. It was an alternate, certainly.

Tarn had warned Vos not to get too close to the DJD's multiversal alternates, but, well, there was no harm in just talking to one via comm, was there?

Tarn’s otherwise joyful EM field sobered up at the mention of their alternates, and he gave his teammate a somber look, azure optics dimming with concern.

“Listen to me, Vos. Never approach those mechs. Even if they look similar to us in name and build, this universe’s version of the Decepticon Justice Division is radically different from our own. If you ever come across them, hide or flee. Never talk to them, and never trust them. Understood?”

A razzing sound. “They can’t be that different,” he grumbled. “In their cores, they’re US.” Still, he let out a weary sigh. “Fiiine.” He might not keep to that for long. But for now, he’ll agree.

“They are not… like us, Vos. I had to find the hard way. And it cost me nearly a week in the medbay. Please don’t make my same mistake.” And with that last warning, arn let the matter drop. He trusted Vos would be careful enough around the multiverse.

That got Vos's attention. He looked up at Tarn in shock. And then patted his head, and clung tighter to him.

Okay. He gets it.

“That’s unfortunate. But, as long as we can still help people…” He tilted his helm. “Do these universes not have their own Justice Divisions, though? To help their own mechs?” That was a depressing thought. Although it would explain why mechs fled in terror; a pack of ‘Cons that included a tank and a gun would look intimidating at first sight to a group that didn’t know who they were…

“So am I. He truly needs it.” He sighed. “What strange universes are out there, if even a mech as great as Starscream needs our help.”

“What else have I missed? Who’s on the List?” He paused. That reminded him– “By the way, I invited a Starscream on board. He got lost from his universe and he wants to come back to the Decepticons and make amends. I said he could stay with us.”

“As we are far from our home universe there are some difficulties following our List…” Tarn admitted. “What we have been doing as of lately is to help mechs in need of help as we come across them. The multiverse is a dire place, and our services have been needed countless times - even if initially our presence caused many people to flee in terror, others have learned to distinguish us from our alternates.”

“Ah, I think I know the mech you are referring to. I came across him once, and I’m glad he finally accepted our help. It will be nice to have a new guest aboard.”

Um… Anyone have time to talk? I need help and advice, because my parents are being abusive in terms to giving no shits about a potential medical problem. Might just be me being paranoid, but seriously what the hell kind of parent wouldn’t help their kid with something like this?!

Also. The paranoia might even be beyond my control. Because there’s a 90% chance I have an anxiety disorder and they still attribute the symptoms to a form of autism instead of getting an actual diagnosis so I can get help.

I have no money. And no fucking idea what to do.

So uh… Yeah. If anyone wouldn’t mind talking with me it would be nice to have someone at least humor me on the subject for once.

((I know there are some hotlines and stuff that you can call and talk to people about stuff like this--it’s not the same as actually going to get a professional diagnosis, but it might help. idk what the hotlines are off the top of my head, I just know I’ve seen them going around. Anybody know?))

((And are you in college or anything like that? If so, then there are counselors on campus available to students for free. High school counselors typically usually aren’t quite as helpful, but it’s worth going to talk to them too.))

((And, I know it’s not much, but, ~*hugs*~. I was in a very similar situation a few years ago. I was having a shitty year and my parents were almost violently pushing for me to get an Autism diagnosis while I kept saying “no, that’s not the fricking problem” and getting ignored. It took a while but eventually they started listening and I got actual help. So, I totally sympathize with what you’re going through, and I’m sorry you have to deal with it. I hope it gets better for you. <3 <3))

“I’m okay, I’m okay! I was just a little lost.” He hugged Tarn back, clinging to his armor. If Tarn lets go, Vos will probably just remain exactly where he is, latched onto his chest. “Kaon introduced me. They’re so CUTE! I want to steal them. Congratulations.” His ember ached slightly to say it–once upon a time, he’d dreamed of being that close to Tarn, and the children reminded him that he still had none of his own–but he WAS truly happy for his teammates, and he wasn’t going to let a single ounce of his own melancholy prevent him from congratulating them properly and sharing in their joy.

“Thank you, Vos.” Tarn replied, chuckling in amusement at Vos’ reaction. The gunformer had a talent for latching onto bigger mechs - which was actually almost any other mech or crewmate - but Tarn had never minded it. Everyone seemed to have touchy-feely tendencies on his team.

“And as long as you return them safely, I don’t mind you stealing them once a while. I know they will learn a lot from uncle Vos.” Tarn added, oblivious to the feelings that the gunformer had once harboured for his commander.
