I'm Genos, the Hero Association's Demon Cyborg, and I'm here to rally support for my incredible Saitama-sensei. My sensei is the best sensei. He is the best Hero. Vote Saitama-sensei! // ***ASKS ARE QUEUED***
Today marks five years since I first began this blog in order to spread the word of my then-sensei Saitama, and drum up further support for him.
A lot has changed since that day, most of which has been chronicled here, sandwiched between the stories of his incredible feats of heroism, and facts about his way of life.
We got together, we worked on ourselves and on our relationship. Earlier this year, we got married. We have gained friends, sometimes in unexpected places. We have gained family, and this year, that family has extended to the eight minibots designed by my adoptive father Doctor Kuseno. We’ve learned to garden and to compromise. We’ve come to understand which values and goals are most important, both to ourselves and each other.
Today, we said goodbye to our apartment, and officially moved into our new home, along with the Genosling Minibots, who are all very excited about their room, and the work we have yet to complete.
Despite our best efforts, there is still a considerable amount of work that needs to be done-- on the house, within our lives, and in my work to grow support for my incredible husband and best hero, Saitama.
Which brings me to the following topic.
From today, I am putting this blog on indefinite hiatus.
To save having a lengthy post on your dash, you can learn more about the decision, and see an important message from my Saitama, beneath the following readmore.
My Saitama and I reached this decision together, after much discussion of what would be the right thing moving forward.
He has gained supporters as a result of this blog, and his popularity has grown in proportion to how far and wide the message has spread across this website.
We are both grateful to his supporters, and think fondly of you all, with particular warmth for those who have been here since the start, and taken the time to send your questions, suggestions and support, and share the tales of his incredible feats as a hero.
However, after much consideration of what lies ahead, I have concluded that an indefinite hiatus is the best option.
We have the house to work on, and plans for extensive renovation and further building work. We have eight minibot children to teach and to guide, and of course we have our daily work as heroes to attend to.
Therefore when it comes to growing my Saitama’s fanbase and drumming up more support for him, I shall concentrate my efforts offline from now on. I can spread word of his deeds on the streets, whilst I patrol.
I cannot confirm the length of this hiatus, whether it will last a few weeks, or whether it will be endless. Hence referring to it as ‘indefinite’.
The past five years have had what my Saitama calls ‘their ups and downs’ and I am grateful to his supporters here for continuing to follow and help spread his word.
Thank you for your support!
(Now a message from my Saitama, who wanted to add something)

Owing to the recent addition to the functionality of this webbed site, after discussing with sensei*, I decided to make a brief return to this, my blog about sensei, in order to make an extremely important poll.
Therefore I ask of you:
Who is the best hero?
Saitama-sensei
Saitama
Caped Baldy
Sensei
The answer is sensei
Saitama-sensei is the best hero
Any answer not listed here is incorrect (the right answer is Saitama-sensei)

*he said 'do what you want, Genos'
((Mun got polls so although this blog has been dead for two years this had to be done))
"Hey," he said. "Might not have caught a leaf, but..." He trailed off, cheeks growing hot, and gosh since when had he become so sappy?
Saitama rubbed the back of his neck, searching for the right words.
A leaf fluttered down between them, and in an instant his hand shot out, snatching it from the air. He smiled, and pressed a kiss to its golden surface.
"I found my luck when I caught you," he murmured, paraphrasing what Genos had said a year ago. It was rare he remembered much of anything anyone said, but he remembered that. Face hot, he brushed the leaf against Genos' lips. "I'm the luckiest guy alive."

Can the Minibots activate the internet? If so I reeeeally hope you have parental controls on.
Thank you for your message, Anon-san.
The Genosling Minibots do have internet functionality, however they are coded with a subroutine that limits the depth of knowledge they can achieve via a simple internet search.
To put it simply, yes, parental controls are on.
I’m grateful to report that neither I nor the laptop have such controls (and the bots do not have a login for the laptop).
Anon-san, I assure you, those jerkass monster crows work for nobody but themselves.
They tried to bother one of the Genosling Minibots today. I could hear the bastards sitting out on the balcony and jeering at them, encouraging them to come out, as if they were some kind of fae from Glo’s storybook.
The bot who answered their caws was Pao.
Considering the charred feathers, I do not think they will be bothering us again.
I do however need to have a conversation with Pao about using fire in the vicinity of my Saitama’s laundry.
...I will miss this apartment, but it at least at our new home, we shan’t be bothered by those damn crows.
(We moved some things over today. The rest we’ll move tomorrow. We’re nearly done. We’re really moving.)
Saitama don’t read this!!!! For Genos’ eyes only! Okay so Genos, I have an idea of something you can do for Saitama for Christmas :3 why not make a little keepsake of mementos from the apartment? You could add in some photos that were taken there of precious memories, the apartment keys, and some small nicknacks that were displayed around. Put it all together in a shadow box that can be hung on a wall in your new home so you guys see it everyday! I bet Saitama would love it.
Thank you for your message, @eldinkind Amni-san!
That is a brilliant idea!
I have already purchased his Christmas gifts, but your suggestion is too good to neglect!
As my husband Saitama is currently out on an evening patrol, I shall seize the opportunity to collect up aspects of our apartment to include within the shadow box!
Let’s see, what can I gather for him to start with...
Of course the keys must wait until we have left, but at present I can include a fragment of the wall in the entryway, where we ‘caught up’ after looking after the twins for nearly three weeks (and therefore had enjoyed no private time together). I will include a section of the floor where we first made love, and a few seeds from the first plants we tried to grow on our rooftop garden!
It will be simple to take a section from the wall and the floor, and replace them before he notices. Perhaps I shall also take a piece of a paving slab outside, as a memento of the time shortly after we first met, and that foolish Dr Genus became interested in my Saitama’s body and sent his monstrous creations to retrieve him (of course, the result was that my Saitama defeated those monsters, and I defeated the cyborg he sent along with them! My Saitama’s home is not to be disturbed!)
There are plenty of photos I can also include. I shall set to work immediately! The Genosling Minibots can help.
The crow monsters tore up your stuff? Want me to kill them? I'll do it for free, there's good eating of a crow monster
(In response to this post)
Thank you for your message, @teethconsumer-san
The crows didn’t tear stuff up so much as break into the cloches we were using to grow some late-season vegetables. They ate everything they could get to, which left us with nothing but some rhubarb they didn’t know about.
My husband Saitama and I were too busy with the move to do much about it at the time, but rest assured I shall make sure they get a final goodbye before we shut the apartment door for good.
Not to get political or anything, but what the fuck is a "bird"?
Thank you for your question, Anon-san.
I don’t know why you consider your question ‘political’, because birds do not appear to have any leanings towards politics within their society.
However, the dictionary definition of bird is:
Bird (noun): an egg-laying, warm-blooded vertebrate animal notable for its beak and feathers, and in most cases ability to fly.
Note: bird-form monsters do not count, they are monsters first and foremost. Those asshole monster crows do not count in particular.
....yes, they wrecked the rooftop garden again. The fact that my Saitama and I are in the process of moving and therefore relocating all aspects of the garden that we can is beside the point.
Whilst writing this post it occurs to me that, given past posts relating to creatures of the world, I ought to state it clearly here that Saitama is not a bird, nor did he hatch from an egg.
On his request I shall not indulge in the pedantry of arguing the exact definition of ‘bird’ and ‘egg’. Because of course, being a homo sapien of the taxonomic class mammalia, he grew from the fusion of his jerk mother’s egg and his asshole father’s sperm, and ‘bird’ can be used in slang form to refer to a woman.
But I shall not go into that. We have had a busy day patrolling, working on the house, and taking care of the Genosling Minibots. It is now time for my husband Saitama and I to spend some quality time together.
As planned, we and the bots arrived at the 100 yen store and Dad Kuseno just happened to arrive at the same time. I must ensure I buy him an extra special gift this year, for all his help. He reminded me yesterday that we’d planned to build a boat together this year. “I didn’t expect we’d end up building an extension!” he joked. “But it’s good to spend time together that doesn’t involve repairing you. I’m proud of your progress, Genos.”
I am really grateful to have him as a doctor/adoptive father. This time of year I miss my family, but now I have family again, and that wouldn’t be possible without Dad Kuseno.
But I’m veering away from the point here. My Saitama would nag me to summarise to twenty words or less, “’specially if it’s important”, so I shall do that.
My Saitama told me he’s looking forward to having a family home together, but he’ll miss our apartment.
I shall elaborate after the following read more.
After Dad Kuseno had shepherded the bots into the 100 yen store, I took hold of my Saitama’s hand.
“I have a full stamp card for Starschmucks,” I told him.
He looked at me with love and hope in his eyes. “Yeah?”
“Let’s have a date,” I said. “Whilst Dad Kuseno is with the bots.””
“You said all the right things.” He grinned, and led the way.
Once we were sitting down with our free coffee, I waited for him to settle before bringing up what was on my mind.
“Saitama?”
“Hm? Oi, you done somethin’ new with your hair?”
“No?”
I blinked at him, and he reached out, ruffling my hair.
“Looks nice. Sorry dude, what were you sayin’?”
“It’s about the house...”
His gaze slid away. “Oh.”
Cupping my hands around my coffee, I stared at him. “Saitama, if you’re having second thoughts about moving, it’s... it’s okay. Our family home must be perfect for both of us.”
“It is...” He heaved a sigh that stirred up a breeze, his brow wrinkling and lips pursing as he gazed down at his coffee. “It’s perfect, Genos. And the stuff you’re doin’ with the doc to make it better is really great. ‘s just...”
He swallowed, and I waited.
“...our apartment’s perfect too.”
“I see.” I hadn’t been expecting that. I sat back, uncertain. “So are you torn between the two?”
“No...” He shook his head. “’s not that. ‘s been perfect for the two of us but ‘s not enough for us and the kids, an’ it’s too small when we’ve got people over.”
I nodded. “The space is limited if we want to have guests.”
“Yeah. And I know we gotta move someplace bigger if we wanna have a family and stuff, and the house is great... ‘s just... all our history’s in the apartment, y’know? ‘m gonna...” he shrugged. “Gonna miss it, I guess.”
Something in my brain told me my heart was clenching, and I suddenly understood all too well. I had been burying that feeling myself, not wanting it to interfere with our plans for the future.
In hindsight, I should have told him from the start.
“I feel that way too,” I admitted, a heaviness settling into my chest. “We’ve made a lot of memories in our apartment.”
He reached across the table and took my hand. “Yeah...” he agreed, thumb rubbing lightly over my built-in wedding band. A faint smile upon his face, he arched a brow. “We can make a ton more at our new place. Together with the kids.”
“Yes.” I smiled back, hopeful. “Saitama, if you want to help with the build... That would be a nice memory.”
My Saitama glanced away. “...Yeaaah. I wanna, I jus’ don’t wanna break stuff and set your work back, y’know? ‘s hard to figure out how much strength to use sometimes-- ‘sides, who’ll look after the bots?”
“So long as they have excursion mode activated, they will be fine. We can set them to study and get on with the work.” I squeezed his hand, grateful that his strength meant I could never crush it. “Also, I think you handle your strength much better than you think.”
“Still... It’d suck if I like, tried to swat a cockroach and knocked a wall down.”
“Saitama, that might happen in our apartment, too.”
His eyes darted. “Well it kinda has, right? ‘cept it was a grasshopper.”
“And it took no time to repair,” I reminded him. “Dad Kuseno’s structures are more robust than our apartment.”
“...You’re right,” he sighed, and gave a smile. “Thanks, Genos.”
I raised my brows. “What for?”
“For talkin’ me out of the stupid blues I was gettin’ into.” He leaned over the table, and pressed a kiss to my cheek before he dropped back into his chair. “‘kay. I wanna make that memory with you too. What can I do?”
We spent the rest of our coffee date planning out the remainder of the extension work. Of course, with our patrols it’s impossible to dedicate entire days to the project, but with us, Dad Kuseno and his droids working upon it, we should be able to complete the work very soon.
My Saitama and I have agreed to paint the walls once we move in. We can get the bots involved, and it will be our first memory there as a family.
Meanwhile, I shall do my best to ensure our last memories within the apartment are good ones.
