1. Ooty

Nohsngithiang Falls is a seven-segmented waterfall located in the Indian state of Meghalaya. The water falls from a height of 315 meters and has an average width of 70 meters. This nohsngithiang waterfall is also called as “seven sisters waterfall”. Nohsngithiang falls only flows during the monsoon season from a height of 1,033 ft on the cliffs of the Khasi hills.

4. Thoseghar Waterfall

Thoseghar Waterfalls is situated at the beginning of Konkan region near the Satara city in Maharashtra. 8. khandadhar waterfall

10. Dhuandhar Waterfall

      3.        Agumbe

  Agumbe is a small village located in Shimoga district under the state of Karnataka, India. It is sometimes called "The Cherrapunji of the South" after Cherrapunji, in Northeast India. Agumbe is known for its picturesque beauty, amazing sunset and the Kunchikal Falls, the highest waterfall in the country is located in agumbe.

        4.        Chinnakallar

  The Chinnakallar Falls are located in the picturesque area of Valparai, in the state of Tamil Nadu. This chinnakallar is a narrow trail amongst rugged bushes, leads to the Chinnakallar falls.

       5.        Neriamangalam

Neriamangalam, a small village in Ernakuklam district in Kerala is the wettest place in the state. Neriamangalam is lying on the banks of Periyar River; it is located i.e. very close to Munnar, famous hill stations of South India. The places to see around in this place are the Cheeyappara waterfall and the Neriamangalam Bridge.

      6.        Amboli

Amboli is a hill station in south Maharashtra, India. At an altitude of 690 m it is the last hill station before the coastal highlands of Goa and a relatively unexplored one.

      7.        Sitarganj

Sitarganj is a city and a municipal board in Udham Singh Nagar district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Now it is coming under the Industrial Estate Sitarganj being developed by State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand. In this town heavy rains of about 193 mm.

      8.        Chandbali

Chandbali is Bhadrak district of Orissa comes next on the list of highest annual rainfall places in India. It gets a maximum rainfall of nearly 120 mm. The place is famous for its wonderful weather and beautiful waterfalls.

9. Buxa
