How they got engaged

After four wonderful years together, Josh popped the question on a quiet Saturday morning while we were still in bed. He got up at 6am to devise the plan with his side kick Nards, our adorably fat cat. He looped the engagement ring onto a baby blue ribbon and tied it around Nards neck. And because this day was so ordinary, Josh and Nards both went back to sleep and waited for me to figure it all out! At 8am, Nards hopped on the bed asking to be fed and that's when I discovered the ring! I think I said ten times "are you serious?!" Josh put the ring on my finger and I realized I was going to get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Of course I said YES!

A LOVE STORY

It all started 3 years ago in the back of a winnebago. A casual wine tasting excursion for a special friend’s birthday resulted in copious amounts of wine, dancing, high fives, fist pumps, hugs and a phone number exchange by the end of the evening.

Now to give thanks where thanks is due: Katie Green - Thank you for being born and inviting both of us to the best birthday party ever!

Kevin Foley - Thank you for responding with a YES when I asked if Conner was single, and YES once again when Conner asked, “should I go for it?”

As you all know, Conner popped the question in Luang Prabang on the top of Mount Phousi. I enthusiastically obliged, and here we are today, excited to say our I Dos among everyone we love.
