he was interviewed by police and released. as soon as he heard his photo was being spread around as a person of interest, he flagged down a cop and that’s when he gave them his weapon. while being interviewed, they told him they had video and witnesses of him shooting the gun he had on him. they release him. he had done nothing.

I remember going here in the fourth grade but we weren’t allowed in the lynching exhibit because we were too young. We were scared shitless because we’d been taught up to that time that slaves were like farmers, not that they endured all they did. Pretty sure we all went home with a new perspective and nightmares that day.

Oh my gosh that museum is scary. They make you start from the dark and cold bottom where you see the slaves in the slave ship. Then the room where they had the torture weapons and examples. Cut off genitals in a jar…

Shit is nerve wrecking and important. Our people suffered so much and it’s very significant everyone knows history.
