Vera spent several years in the military academy, trying to change the views on Ishvalan people from inside the system, before she realised she wasn’t going to succeed and gave up. Which was lucky, because she managed to avoid the army’s cull of its Ishvalan members at the beginning of the civil war that drove her to refuge in the Southern region.

Once there, she made herself a living as a trick shooter, putting to use the talents she had gained from the academy. She came under suspicion from the army, but nobody could ever come up with any solid reason to arrest her, so she was thankfully left alone. She retired at the end of the war and now lives a peaceful life in Dublith with her girlfriend, an Aerugan asylum seeker named Knacka.

Also I really wish you guys would not adopt this idea that speaking your mind towards me is something that you'll be attacked for because unlike the ppl who did that to me. Saying things like "Don't kill me please" Is kind of ridiculous. I'm not a rage machine I don't just pick someone and deside to pick on them.  So despite what i'm sure you and everybody else believes I did actually want to be a good part of this fandom, but as it stands I'm currently on the fence of just leaving and being done with the lot of it.

Ok so they is a little argument about slug design ( btw love ancient Egyptian culture) I know that the name is bases on the Egyptian king, king tutukarmun (I can’t spell his name…. I’m on a phone) and the design is based on the coffins for the royals. They were design and made to preserve the body while the jar filled with organs were filled to preserve them, all for the after life. They believe that they would need them to live rich among the dead and still rule there. The Egyptians were very spiritual people at the time, believing in gods.

What I suggested to pulse was a healer of spiritual mind and not a healer on body. Could be just as rare as a boon doc slug but not related in anyway to boon docs. I thought it would be nice for a slug to help people who where having bad dream and visions could be helped with a slug what could open a portal to the mind and help with memories and heal the mind.

I don’t really want to get in arguments about the design and story but can we all stop and be friends PLEASE!!!! The fandom is quite small but grown and if anything we should help encourage making Ocs and slugs better within character instead of insulting them. Nothing good comes out of it. Now everyone shake hands and be friends or I’m gonna bang heads ok.

I agree that the slug need some work. It looks a bit over the top with detail as most slugs are plain and bold. But it still need work. Keep it up. ( I’m no expert at slug making be I can come up with a alternative look for the one pulse is making…. I’m gonna draw it now!!)

Hi there! I'm going to preface this with a small apology to rin because I know I can be a bit brash, but honestly its frustration from literally no one thinking that maybe that wasn't right. So my bad to that. But I won't apologize for what I pointed out.

I'm not here to throw tit for tat about healer slugs, I really don't care make as many or as few as you like. That isn't even remotely what my post was about, thus why I left it to my tags. I don't care where you got your influence from, but its the

way

you show those influences that matter. And like don't claim that your a "fan of Egypt" as justification for your actions or as a defense because that doesn't work.

There are so many ways to show those influences that just got bypassed and turned into 'lets throw as much shit on this as I can to show its from egypt and that its based on this' like its pretty much as much stereotypical egyptian stuff ever. As I pointed out how is that any different than katy perry's dark horse mummy dancers? Not very.

Now I don't want to say that the idea of an ancient and mythological Egyptian slug doesn't have potential! But the execution is flawed. And that's the problem.
