The day was beautiful and warm I spent all day thinking about birth and death (as you do on birthdays) it reminded me of my ficus plants that need repotting. I already killed a dozen and can't let the last three dies so there I go on the soil searching journey and found a sack of soil. I transferred my ficus in little bottle pot and get a plastic spoon to spoon of the soil and as I replaced my bucket I found some little guys instead
These little guys are isopods I never expected them to exist there and instead of repotting my ficus I spent 20 minutes admiring and documenting them, and I can firmly say that I love isopods they're such sweet little guys and I wish I can find them more often
Just look at them go, I wish I can make this more informative but I'm new with these guys, I'll probably upload them on inat.
