Abolish & Apo: They are both on a shift from hell, they are both not payed enough to deal with any of this, and they both want to protect people in town (at least to an extend as they both kinda leave that motivation behing as the time goes) they would play so nice with each other if they locked in and comunicated propably truuuust. Have you ever thought about how Abolish crashed out about Apo redecorating the tower and getting ride of the silver over "aesthetics" but it wasn't just aesthetic but also a bit of practicality for her as she was a vampire and couldn't stand the silver so she get ride of it; which he would be much more understanding of than her actual excuse. (not fully cuz its still stupid but its more valid than just aesthetics). THEY BOTH HAVE FAMILY TO RETUNR TO (Apo has Cherri, Abolish has Morcant and the stuff of the manor); they both are determinated to stay human/get thier humanity back.
Abolish & Pearl: both hunters yet they have very different styles that match each other freak quite well, as she's more go with the flow while hes very much "planning is the most important bit of the job and if my plan isnt 100% fool proof i WILL get an aneurysm". Pearl can be that aneurysm. They also both see value in staying human, as Pearl sees it as a value in itself, and Abolish works better as one due to his skills. But alos, if needed Pearl can Isiten to reason and be more careful, while Abolish also can be soooo silly if he feels like it UNDERATED DUO. "NO FUN ABOLISH"!!!!!
Abolish & Pyro: Abandonment Issues (self sabotage) VS Abandonment Issues (people pleasing). Immovable Object (Abolish dodging any menaingful connection he can form with anyone ever so he wont get hurt when people eventually die around him (just as his parents did which left him so fuckin traumatized actually and he does admits sol and they WILL die around him cuz of his job so why not just spare yourself the heartache and not care if they do?) vs Unstoppable Force (Pyro clawing his way into status of being irraplacable and useful and important cuz it will mean people care about them and praize them and see value in him as a person). They match each other freak like crazy. Pyro can be weird about how competant Abolish is, and Abolish can fold a bit and feel bad for the loser. ALSO they have sooooo many civil conversations with each other, and are generally curious of one another in the smp, not nessesery romantically but hey have a lot in common if you think about it and in defferent circumsntances i can see them being quite good friends.
Apo & Pearl: THEY BOTH SACERIFCED THIER HUMANITY FOR THE TOWN AND YET ONE OF THEM IS DEMONIZED FOR IT AND THE OTHER IS PRAIZED FOR IT. They both value being humanity and they both see becoming vampires as a sacerfice, for the better of the whole community around them. A lot of what makes it compelling to me specifically has a similiar flavour of the dynamic of Pearl and Apo, the silly one and the serious one. I think it also would be really healing for both of them to talk about thier sacerifces and how it affected them and how they both are not fully fine with being vampires and can't really talk about it. I also think that if pearl knew what Apo went thought and wasnt feed lies that she asked for this then she would be very understanding and suportive of her.
Apo & Pyro: MY APPLESPICE. Pyro wanted to protect her. Until the very end everything he did was a messed up way to spare her the pains he went thought. And she never gave up on him fully. She defended him from Ren and Martyn as late as episode 6 saying that she thinks there is a chance fro them. THEY BELIVED IN PYRO TILL THE VERY END. im like AAAAAGH, i wish they talked mroe, i wish they communicated more i wish owen didnt fuckin massed Apo so badly she broke and killed that pig that represented both of thiers humanities. Im insane im feral about the. have you noticed how they both refere to truffle with different pronounce? Apo calling the Pig "him" while Pyro ususally goes for "her"? yea they are projecting the other onto the pig. they are bonded by the universe my honour. As much as Pyros ending specifically said that nooen will mourn him thats a lie, thats a lie that Pyro themsleves belived cuz Apo mounred them. Apo mourned them, thier broken friendship and what it could have been if they met anywhere other than Oakhurst. They make me ill.

Have you ever think about how Pyro actually told her how he got turned and how his situation looks like, but she didnt belived him cuz they used different names in the place of "Scott" and "Owen". Cuz i do. Since it happend in ep 4 I think about it like almost every day. I mourn that they were so ripped apart by fate and Jack Pyroscythe the Australian who wanted to be a vampire so so badly. They would be a wonderful duo if they had time and werent forced into the opposite sides since day one.

we have two vampires (Crimson = Blood), two hutners (hunt = chasing) but also, all for of them had a significent run for it moment during the smp (Abolish had to run away frm battle and it was one of few moments he got significently hurt, lost half of the health; Apo had that chase scene in which like the whole coven was after her, Pearl had that moment where most of the vamps were chasing her WITH WIICH APO ASSISTED BTW I FORGOT TO MENTIONED IT IN THE OG PROPAGANDA and Pyro was hunted down so many times i can not list them all including by the 3 above!!!); and Pearl had that moment with Pyro about the bottle of Crimson (which also Abolish got involved in later when she spoke about it in town), but it also can refere to bloodlust which all 4 share in one way or another (Apo and Pyro are vampires, Pearl is a partial werewolf and it was stated that Abolish would go apeshit if he was turned unwillingly) and it can also can refere to hutning down the blood or being high on the thrill of the hunt there is a lot of ways you can go about it! So Legundo is guilty about absolutely everything, I think it would already majorly fuck him up just to be attracted to someone so much younger than him (even though Abolish is an adult, Legs still sees him as Super Young because Legs is Old). Abolish however doesn't really have many hangups about dating Legs as long as the organization approves. Legs is terribly horribly guilty about everything all the time because he doesn't think he deserves anything at all, and all of this would only fuck him up even more because what do you mean Abolish is dating his dad/boss/mentor/whatever Morcant is to him. No matter what Morcant's relation to Abolish is, Legs is incredibly concerned because that is a godawful power imbalance, he didn't think anyone could be worse for Abolish than he is but Morcant has proved him wrong! Morcant and Abolish are happy together though and have been for a while, just based on their interactions in flashbacks and at the end of Abolish's point of view they really like each other and are super comfortable around each other and casually joke around with each other etc etc. I think "this relationship has a horrific power imbalance" and "they're both happy together and there isn't any indication Abolish is being hurt" both being true would break Legundo's brain a little because what in the world is going on here. He would want to kill himself the whole time until he eventually accepts it after a very very long time and I think that's wonderful and beautiful. Also consider the trope of "fledgling without a sire takes on a new sire" with Legs and Morcant, since Owen died and Legs is still a fledgling just without a sire. Legs still being super iffy about Morcant but then he feels like the constant ache in his chest at the loss of his sire is going away and Morcant is somehow kind and understanding to him despite everything. They get to be a little coven, just the three of them <3 Ignore the elephant in the room of the crazy power imbalance because Morcant could seriously hurt both of them but he Doesn't and maybe they'll even leave the evil shadow organization eventually too

Apo mourned them, thier broken friendship and what it could have been if they met anywhere other than Oakhurst. They make me ill.
Pearl & Pyro: The first person who you ever met in Oakhurst. The first turn and the last turn. Both seeking home and belonging be it in two different ways. One whos a werewolf and has issues about maybe being a monster, one whos a vampire but if you heared thier desciption and themes you woudn't have guess that, cuz they are talking so much about being a monster. Both having an interesting perception on killing and a moral dillema about it. Have you ever think about how Pyro actually told her how he got turned and how his situation looks like, but she didnt belived him cuz they used different names in the place of "Scott" and "Owen". Cuz i do. Since it happend in ep 4 I think about it like almost every day. I mourn that they were so ripped apart by fate and Jack Pyroscythe the Australian who wanted to be a vampire so so badly. They would be a wonderful duo if they had time and werent forced into the opposite sides since day one.
now put them all in the blander together and make them smooch. good for the soul. good for the heart. Good for the mind.

Imagine Pyro playing Owen and Scott off of eachother! What about Scott getting jealous whenever Owen and Pyro go off alone? Or Owen getting jealous of Pyro and Scott? Imagine how useless Pyro would feel if Scott and Owen left them alone.

OKAY HEAR ME OUT Drift thinks Pearl is so so cool and strong and I have to imagine she would think a lot of the same about Apo (pre turning) considering they're both seen as these protective professional forces. SO Drift having big gay crushes on both of them for being so outwardly strong and safe is awesome. and then Apo is having crazy envy crushes on both of them in return because Pearl *is* a very trustworthy force of good in the town that Apo wanted to be able to be but feels she's failing and I think she would think Drift's detective work is so cool and how worthwhile and helpful of a job that is and how smart Drift is and would just think they're both so much of what she wants to be and has complicated feelings about that. and also can someday connect with Drift about them both feeling like cowards for abandoning their posts but they can both see the strength in the others fear and ough. and ofc Pearl is already close to Drift and thinks she's so smart and so brave even if she doesn't think so. She's such a comfort and Apo knows that and Apo and Drift would get so worried about her wandering off and Pearl would laugh it off but let them fuss over her and i think they'd all be very sweet
I have decided to remove all avid ships from the poll, so sorry to everyone who submitted those ships. But with everything I've learned about what happened and how raw the situation is, I don't particularly want to interact with anything avid related for a while and I imagine many others feel the same.
