Hello, as I’m writing this message I have only read the half of the last chapter. I might be too emotional about this but I can feel a lump stuck in my throat at the thought of their separation. It’s been a few days since I started reading this absolutely amazing story. You are genuinely amazing. I can’t remember the last time I have felt so much through a prose.

Also I noticed that you have been updating it for the last 3 years and always adding notes thanking your girlfriend. Just genuinely adorable.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update: I’m working on something... I’m rewriting the first chapter! ✨😌

I know this probably isn’t the news most of you were hoping for, but I’ve managed to carve out a couple of free afternoons recently. It’s not quite enough time to write an entirely new chapter from scratch, but it is enough to go back and polish something that already exists.

Honestly, I haven’t been fully happy with the first chapter for a while now. I feel like my writing has improved since then, and compared to the tone and flow of the later chapters, the first one has started to feel a little out of place.

The plot will stay the same, and so will the main events, but everything will be rewritten in a way that I hope feels smoother and more engaging.

I’m not sure yet whether I’ll simply replace the old first chapter with the new version or make a separate update for it. I’ll also probably change the synopsis at some point, so it feels a bit more in line with where the story actually goes.

So, yes, I’m giving chapter one a glow-up. Hopefully the kind it deserves. ✨

And for anyone who feels like rereading it once it’s up, I really hope you’ll enjoy this new version. You can take it as a small thank-you for 2,800 kudos, which is honestly still a little insane to me.

It's all about pain and pleasure - chapter 19 Sneak Peek

Bellatrix walked hastily over the damp cobblestones of the warren of alleys. Night had already fallen; the few lanterns cast a faint, flickering light along her path. 

She had run late, later than usual.

And now her body would not resist.

Her legs moved in long strides, drawn forward by a pull that called to her, like a gravitational force, something that dragged her onward whether she willed it or not.

Beyond the deserted street, toward that dark doorway, inside that small, warm apartment—toward her. She was calling her back, and Bellatrix could not bring herself to not obey.

Why was it so difficult to stay away from her?

“Please, Bellatrix,” she pleaded and Bellatrix felt as if she were the one slipped to her knees in the presence of something worthy of worship.

“Just this once…”

Bellatrix understood with the last shred of her rationality that there was no escape; whatever she was about to say was inevitable.

Like paper that has caught fire, there is nothing you can do to save it. You admire as the flames devour it, crackling from the corners until everything is consumed.

And as a dull buzzing sound started in her ears, muffling everything else, the words came, inescapable, destined to mark Bellatrix in a way she had not anticipated, chaining her forever to that memory, chaining her forever to Hermione.

"Pretend you love me."

As her heart thundered faster, as the girl on her lap moistened her lips, whispering the request she had prepared, the alpha in her mind took the final step forward, and in an instant, as if she had never been separated from her, she faded away, slipping inside Bellatrix.

And for the first time in twenty years — perhaps only for one night — Bellatrix felt whole again.

It's all about pain and pleasure chap 10 - Sneak Peek

A muffled cry echoed in the static air of the abandoned classroom, so sweet it blended with the melody of the music in the next room.

So weak and desperate the mere sound sent a shiver of twisted desire through the alpha's shaft.

When the girl had stormed out of that ridiculous party, scurrying through the corridors of Hogwarts like a prey waiting to be hunted, Bellatrix had given her no chance of escape. The woman had grabbed her little prey in quick strides, shoving her into the nearest door.

The action had made her feel wild.

She should have seized the stupid girl by the neck and thrown her into an empty room long before that night, making her cry and squeal in fear until her tiny whimpers turned into moans of submission.

Does she dare think she is not ours? Growled the voice. The words struck with burning fury, a declaration of obsession that roared like a crescendo.

Her heart raced, fuelled by the feral wave of conquest coursing through her veins. A rush of liquid adrenaline ignited her blood. Beneath the thunderous beat came a hiss, her inner alpha, emerging from the depths of her mind.

The chains that bound her to Bellatrix's will grew weaker and weaker.

A snarl escaped Bellatrix's lips with possessive ferocity: "Mine."
