gabriel ultrakill genuinely changed my life. when i first was playing ULTRAKILL and starting to look at other fan’s artwork and creations, i was shocked and delighted to see how popular it was to depict him as transmasculine. here was this strong, intimidating, powerful man, such a far cry from the typical characters fandoms decide to headcanon as trans men. he is powerful and masculine. even more incredible to me was how many people would draw him in feminine clothing without “twinkifying” him. he’s buff, muscular, powerful, masculine, and he can wear a dress if he wants to. on top of all of that, he can be a trans man. a trans man who is LOVED by so many, portrayed thoughtfully and lovingly. it changed something in me. it broke an emotional floodgate of repressed internalized transphobia open and i realized i could be gabriel. i can be the man i want to be, and be loved.

in two weeks i’ll be 10 months on testosterone.

yesterday i officially got placed on a top surgery wait list.

gabriel and the ULTRAKILL fandom changed my life. finally i felt brave enough to pursue medical transition after years of being afraid. everyday i become more of who i was meant to be.

trans men are incredible. masculine. beautiful. handsome. worthy of being loved. i am worth being loved.

thank you gabriel. thank you ULTRAKILL and its fans. you’ve saved my life.
