why do i love so hard, and why do they never understand?

I'm tired my love,
and it is hard
to carry the world
when you can't even
see the stars.
No amount of understanding can change the fact that there is a churning, enraged mass inside me, screaming for justice, reminding me that this isn't fair. And it won't sleep, doesn't need to eat, just paces the cage that I put it in, screaming it's not fair.
not all poems rhyme, some go:
fuck you, i will fight
fuck you, i will fight
fuck you, i will fight
fuck you, i will fight
fuck you, i will fight
fuck you, you win.
choking on my rage, swallowing my anger, to keep you from using it against me
let them choke
I’m afraid being the eldest daughter has given me incomprehensible levels of anger

Pick a lyric from thanK you aIMee
When I picture my hometown there's a bronze spray-tanned statue of you
All that time you were throwing punches, I was building something
Screamed, "Fuck you, Aimee" to the night sky
As the blood was gushing, but I can't forget the way you made me heal
And it wasn't a fair fight, or a clean kill each time
My mother is a saintly woman, but she used to say she wished that you were dead
I built a legacy that you can't undo
There's a moment of truth that there wouldn't be this if there hadn't been you
And in your mind, you never beat my spirit black and blue
I dont think youve changed much so I changed your name and any real definingclue
Your kid comes home singing a song that only us two is gonna know is about you
And our town, it looks so small from way up here
You can throw the blame on anyone within reach but someday there'll be no one left but yourself and a mirror.
girlhood
You can sink your claws into her, but the harder your grip, the deeper the wounds will be when you let go.
some things I've learned
i never can forget
it's harder to unlearn
than it is to regret
i feel too big, scream and trash and bite at you like a rabid animal, fighting a gentle hand. i hurt you without even knowing why, and i end up my fathers daughter, and i end up my father
