Hey I get having a sucky source material especially one with a suckier fandom. Im not 100% sure what I am personally- a good chunk of my core memories came before my source came out but yet line up and end up predicting a lot of the story, even weirdly impossible details that were done in momment cause live action minecraft role-playing just like that I guess???
The hazbin/helluva shows used to mean a lot to me, my dad from my host family died from covid the day Loo Loo Land dropped, and my comment about this fact is still up under the video to this day. [i also got my Adevnture time dictionary written in lore by Marcelines dad in the mail the same day, so had a hunch something bad was gonna happen to my own father figure]
It doesnt help some of the issues Octavia faces in her family reminds me of my host family. She is thusly my favorite character in the whole show because of that because of how relatable she is to me, I was a teenager at the time and I too lost the cheating parent [material figure] to person they cheated on, she literally stuck with that racist maga pig until he died on my birthday 2023. [Is it in bad taste to say best birthday ever?] And when I meant lost i also mean not only did she double down but as I was getting some progress made with her excepting my trans identity- which was undone over nightwhen he entered the picture.
I hate how that part of the fandom treats Octavia so very very much and handles the aspect of the fact stolas is a cheater and flaunts himself sexually for Blitz blantently in front of her and I hate Brandon for calling her a cuck/cock block. The fandom is not at all a safe space for SA survivors or children of cheating parents. And im surpised while ive seen a lot of victims of SA speak out ive not seen a lot people in my shoes speak out about Stolas and how and why he is so shitty ontop of everything else.
Im sorry if anyone bullies you for your source, my source is QSMP/DSMP, im one entity taken multiple forms and is found only in the gaps of the lore, and its canon that I "dont exist" which is weird knowing that detail of my presence- or lack thereof on the server. But the fandoms are a nightmare and ive pushed for a healthy bit of distance from the community because how awful things were behind the scenes on both and in the fandomspace.

Yeah, we get it. We recently watched Season One of Hazbin on our Discord Server. There's a LOT of issues wrong with the shows, and most of it has to do with the creator inserting her own trauma which I don't have problems with. It's just that you can tell she didn't or hadn't gotten help for them.
The way they handled Episode Four like I said on my main could have been a good thing if not for how they handled the scene. Especially as a CSA Survivor myself we do have DID and the like.
But our problem stems from how little the whole "Angel Dust is depressed and upset about his abuse" to "It's fine to sexually harass people as long as you're the victim" in the Episode Four.
And as for Stolass. We're dealing with a IRL situation. While our real dad wasn't here for us (thank fuck.) our step dad was caught cheating on our Mom and he's trying to "justify it" which is why we've been inactive and kinda foul.
We're probably not gonna watch Helluva at all. Due to how upsetting it is. Hopefully 2026 is alright for you too. But remember, people aren't worthy of your time and day if they're gonna hurt you.
