I canât not post these things and pretend everything is fine and dandy, because itâs not. It may be for you, but not for me. I am a woman who lives in Iran and these days especially, whenever I go outside, I have to constantly expect a group of animalistic brutes working for this dictator regime to kidnap and imprison me just for not wearing my scarf âproperlyâ according to them, and then proceed to rape and beat me to death in the most horrific fashion imaginable. This is how every woman in Iran feels these days, and itâs something that threatens all of us. And itâs not just women who are raped and tortured, but men, too. Children, as young as 14 years old have been raped and murdered, and anyone who has dared raise their voice against it has been arrested and silenced. They even refuse to give the bodies of the children whom they have killed back to their families to be buried, and if they do, they open fire at the mournful people who are attending the funerals of their murdered children. These are only a miniscule part of the atrocities which are being committed right now in Iran in the name of religion and Islam.
I know most people on tumblr like to have their own safety bubbles and not think about anything that doesnât affect them directly. I know thatâs the easier thing to do, rather than to face the facts and acknowledge what is going on right now in another country that is not yours, but the thing is, if you consider yourself an advocate for freedom and human rights, especially for women, then you SHOULD care about what is happening to us right now. If there is to be such a thing as equal rights, it should be for every single person on this planet, and no human life should be favored over another based on geography or skin color. I donât expect you to understand the depth of the violence and injustice which is being imposed on us, because you havenât experienced it firsthand and never will, and because you have the privileges which neither I nor other people in Iran have had since this child-killer regime came into power. What I am asking is for you to use your own voice and power (which we donât have here) to help us destroy this regime once and for all.
Right now, news has arrived that the Iranian regime is gearing up to execute every single innocent and bright woman, man and child who has opposed them and is currently held captive in prison as soon as possible. You have the power to stop this.
The midterm elections have begun in the U.S. The post that I reblogged earlier is very helpful in terms of guiding whoever wishes to help and be our voice. Not just Americans, but Canadians and the British as well. You could also simply go to https://freeiranfreeworld.com/
PLEASE READ AND REBLOG
Fire outbreak and shooting sound from Evin prison in Iran. The alarm had been rang. These are some footage going around. I can't fit them in one post due to limitation.
Those "prisoners" are not criminals. Some of them are the same university students that were arrested just because they were peacefully protesting inside universities and were eventually arrested, without letting their families and peers know where they took them. Some are normal people that were arrested for the same reason.
Evin is on fire since 11:30 PM(GMT), October 16th, and we all can assure you that it was not done by prisoners, nor it was done by the protestors. I think it's something that everybody can agree on.
Currently the prisoners have fled to the rooftop and the police forces are rushing towards Evin and it's not for good reason. Protestors and the prisoners' families are trying to help them, that's why the police are all joining together across the city in Evin; so that they can silence the protestors while the prisoners are burning alive.
Gunshots can be heard. Explosions can be heard. It's hell.
What Iranian did differently this time of protesting (because protests have been happening since the beginning of Islamic republic and most of them got more violent than todays protests) was that people didn't wait for someone to give us the attention and help we deserved, we basically bullied the world to do it? From making it a twitter trend, to pressuring celebrities and bloggers to post about it by contacting them insistently, to organizing protests outside of iran in every country possible, we pressured media to cover the story and then started to pressure western politicians to take actions against our regime.
Take Justin Trudeau for example. Canada has been a safe haven for our politicians for many years now. They made immigration almost impossible for Iranian citizens while their own families easily go and live in Canada or united states. We've been complaining about how west let our government get away with it and why they're not banned from entering those countries they chant death to? Well guess what, this time we force western politicians to ban them.
Someone once said "the smell of oil is more powerful than the smell of our blood" and that never stops being true. So don't wait for anyone, go grab them by the collar!
Basically don't underestimate the power of international communication through social media (and group working). This modern life is information and communication era. So use it to the best of your abilities. If it's possible to bully Sonic producers to change that weird design, it's also possible to bully politicians to stay true to their "human rights" persona and do the bare minimum expected to save face.
Everyone in the U.S please reach out to your local representatives ASAP. Call your Congress memberâs office, write letters and let them know if they help us today they gain our votes but if you donât care about human rights and look the other away from the horrible events that are taking place in Iran we will not stand by you! Spread the word, spread the love đŻđŻâ¤ď¸đŻđŻ @chelseahartisme Thank you for caring, thank you for educating!
PAY FUCKING ATTENTION TO IRAN
I am FURIOUS and BAFFLED that major news outlets are not covering whatâs going on in Iran right now and I donât fucking have a twitter so I canât make noise over there, even though apparently thatâs the only social media platform people pay attention to????
Students at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran have been one group of many students and professors across the nation protesting, and NOW, the regimeâs security forces have LOCKED THE STUDENTS IN THE UNIVERSITY AND ARE ARRESTING THEM IN MASSES AND SHOOTING AT THEM IF THEY TRY TO ESCAPE OUT THE GATES.
You have DOZENS of teenagers running for their lives in the dark while their parents and fellow citizens are protesting outside the gates chanting âfree the studentsâ. And NOW, the theyâre sending more repression forces to the University!!
A BBC article says itâs unable to verify the events at the university in the same space it writes that VIDEO FOOTAGE on social media shows students RUNNING FROM SECURITY FORCES ON CAMPUS.
THE AUDACITY.
Share as much as you can about this on all of your social media platforms. Tag as many human rights activists and groups and news outlets you can think of to get the information out there. And if you have any friends or family in Tehran, let them know if they already donât that people are mobilising to the university. Help the students!! Use the hashtags that are going around on social media (#mahsaamini, #jinaamini, #opiran, #iranprotests, to name a few).
Iâm adding photos from instagram that give more information. Follow @1500tasvir on instagram for on the ground footage, @middleeastmatters, and @golfarahani to name a few.

hadis najafi, a 20 year old woman, was shot 6 times and murdered in iran for protesting yesterday.
Hadis Najafi, a 20-year-old woman shot and killed by security forces, has become the latest symbol of the tragedy, outpouring of grief a ...
her sister said the following: "She was only 20 years old. Her heart was broken for Mahsa Amini. She said she would not stay silent. They killed her with six bullets.â
she is now among the four women who fought bravely and were killed by the iranian forces:
Gazaleh Chelavi, 32, shot and killed after saying âwe are all Mahsa Aminiâ
Hananeh Kian, 23, shot and killed
Mahsa Mogoi, 18, shot and killed
they are only a few among the women murdered, theres even a video of an unnamed woman, not among the women listed, being brutally murdered being spread around.
Why is Iranâs current regime dangerous for not only Iranians but the world (why you should care and be our voice)
Someone in Iran made an interesting argument about how Iranian politicians donât know or donât respect political ethics in international affairs and it got me thinking⌠As you know the united nations conference was just held in New York where all UN leaders were invited, including our current president, Ebrahim Raisi. Even though he has a criminal record due to his involvement in the mass murder in 1988 (He was one of the four people on the prosecution committee that sentenced thousands of people to death, among them innocent men and women: link) he still got a safe pass (I am critical of this, Iâd be very happy if he got captured there but the message here is that they promised him a safe pass and they held up their end of it).
But If the role was reversed and if it was say Biden who had to travel to Iran there would be no safe travel for him. Islamic republic plays dirtier than western politicians. Lying and deceiving is how they kept ruling Iran for such a long time.
A western politician wouldnât be safe in Iran and they know it. Hell, a western citizen wonât be safe in Iran and by that, I donât mean âthey donât like American tourists and they will give them a hard timeâ. What I mean is that the Islamic republic has been kidnapping, jailing, and torturing western tourists and holding them for ransom for a long time now. Hereâs the list of all those poor souls who came to visit Iran but ended up going through the worst trauma of their lives: link.
The Islamic republic also has a history of direct terroristic operations in other countries. And letâs not talk about their known support for some terroristic organizations. This is beyond my point but I thought I add this as an honorary mention: link.
So next time you or someone you know though Iranâs situation is not my business, consider these facts.
P. S. As I was writing this I realized the side stories I used to support my point were more horrifying than the actual point. So you must check those links for this post to be fully understood. Spread the word.
The Biden administration should NOT be negotiating with Iranâs current terrorist regime. Instead, it should be taking real action to support the women and men in Iran who have been brutalized by this government for the last 50 years. Sanctioning Iranâs âMorality Policeâ is a meaningless act, because the American government has never had any kind of political affiliations with this particular group, nor will it ever have. If Biden wants to prove that he truly cares for the innocent lives which are being lost every single minute here in Iran, instead of offering vapid condolences in a few simple tweets, he should be sanctioning the terrorist individuals who are committing these atrocities and every conceivable violation of human rights, alongside with their families all of whom currently live in America or Canada, and blockading their bank accounts in these countries, which have been filled with the blood money that has been stolen from MY PEOPLE.Â
Right now, Iranâs putrid government is hoping to sell their oil to America, and use that money in order to further stifle the voice of the people who have risen against it. Signing the JCPOA agreement is a DEATH SENTENCE for us.Â
Please, help us by protesting against JCPOA. Even tweeting about it helps to raise enough awareness. You live in a free country where your opinion matters. You can make a difference.Â

People outside of iran are asking how they can help. I can suggest these options:
Be our voice, spread our stories. It's important to share what's happening in Iran as much as you can. The more people hear about it, the harder it gets for governments to deny it. Acknowledgment can be a tool here.
Have peaceful gatherings and protests in front of Iran embassy in your country of residence if possible. Obviously I don't want anyone to get in trouble but if you live in a country that allows freedom of speech and peaceful protests, do it. The sense of solidarity alone helps our courage.
Demand your government to un-recognize our government as legit. We do not know Islamic republic of Iran as our representative government, we wish other countries to stop shaking hands and welcoming Islamic republic politicians in international affairs. Iran's current government is not recognized by majority of people and it shouldn't be by other nations. You can demand this by just tweeting and posting about it.
Thank you in advance for any help you're able to do. We appreciate it.
i think the world doesnât know what it really means to live in a theocratic dictatorship. Let me tell you about our experiences living in the islamic regime of iran.
1. Your parents were born to muslim parents so theyâre automatically muslim. Youâre automatically a muslim too. You didnât choose your religion and you canât opt out of it or you will be executed.
2. The compulsory hijab law makes you a criminal if you choose not to wear hijab even tho you didnât choose to be a muslim and you donât consider yourself a muslim but the regime has forced you into that role whether you like it or not. And when you âbreak that lawâ, they can do with you as they please.
3. little girls as young as 7 yrs old are forced to wear hijab at school even tho the islam itself says the age is 9. and all the schools are gender segregated so imagine how they force you to get used to hijab even when youâre just surrounded by other girls. And all day long at school they tell you horrible stories about what will happen to you in hell if someone sees even a strand of your hair.
4. the regime modifies all the textbooks, story books, cartoons and movies to represent the ideal woman with full on hijab. The iranian media is ordered to photoshop every photo of a woman that may be showing a little skin. And if theyâre iranian, no hair is supposed to be seen or that will be photoshopped away. Women are mostly excluded from billboards and tv commercials.
5. imagine going to work or meeting up with a friend when suddenly the morality police kidnap you in broad daylight and force you into a van to take you to a station where they will treat you like a criminal and if you donât agree to get humiliated and do as they say, they will put you in prison. And in case of Mahsa Amini and so many more before her, they will beat you to death. My sister was barely 18 when she got kidnapped and they didnât let her call home and sheâd been so fucking scared and we had no idea where she was. Imagine all the psychological trauma.
6. If youâre in a car and not wearing hijab they will fine you and seize your car. So when u get into a taxi the driver will ask you to keep your hijab on otherwise theyâll get fined. And if you refuse theyâll ask you to get off the car.
7. And its not just about hijab. In Ramadan, they get even more vicious. If they catch you eating or even drinking water on the street they will give you lashes as punishment and even imprison you for breaking the law. If you work in a state-owned company itâs even worse. They will close the cafeteria and take away the water dispensers. All restaurants are banned from delivering food before iftar. Itâs a fucking mess. Everyone has to pretend theyâre fasting or theyâll be severely punished.
8. And how could I forget about this! iranian women are banned from singing! the islamic regime prohibits womenâs singing voices to be heard by men so imagine the horror of having 50% of the population banned from ever becoming a singer. If they identify a female singer in iran, they will take her to jail and force her to repent her sins in the most humiliating way so that she will never dare sing again.
9. And every time the regime gets wind of a private gathering of men and women trying to have fun and live their fucking private lives, the police crash the party and take everyone to jail bc the Islamic regime bans iranian men and women from having fun.
So if you see Islam has become for many iranians a symbol of oppression and torture and discrimination, thatâs why. The regime uses islam as a weapon to silence and punish anyone who opposes them. You can love islam all you want from the safety of your home in a free country and talk about how kind and benevolent the religion is, but in iran, itâs a whole different story.
Our economy is fucked. All govt officials are corrupt as fuck. Most websites are banned in iran. Even tumblr is banned. The world has cut the iranian ppl from many services. We donât have intl credit cards like visa card. Amazon doesnât do delivery to iran. We cant get netflix, spotify or even a gamepass subscription. we donât get any Apple services here. iran isnât listed as a country you could choose when signing up for a lot of services. and when we decide to leave iran and escape this hellhole, every country out there will make it sooo much harder for us to get a visa just bc we had the misfortune to be born in iran at the wrong time.
This is the story of iran for the past 44 years. Held hostage by a corrupt regime that uses religion to suppress and torture the people and being abandoned by the rest of the world bc our lives donât matter.
Please be our voice. Once they shut down the internet completely and silence our voice, they will start slaughtering us to stifle the protests just like they did in 2019. Please help us. We want this fucking regime gone.

All About Shadowban
Tumblr âHow Toâs
I had no idea about Tumblrâs shadowban until it happened to me. Since then, surprisingly quite a few number of people have texted me about them getting shadowbanned as well. Now that Iâm aware of it, I realize itâs becoming increasingly common for legit blogs like mine to get shadowbanned for no reason at all. So hope this helps everyone who has to unnecessarily go through this.
What does shadowban exactly mean?
Basically, your blog exists and mostly functions as it normally would, but Tumblr has made it invisible to everyone else. Tumblr lets you believe that everything is fine and that you can interact with others, but actually you canât. (Look at the wikipedia definition here.)
Why does this happen?
From what I understand, blogs get shadowbanned since they are suspected of being bots, or just sketchy, or they might be going against Tumblrâs guidelines. Iâm not sure, but it might also happen if someone has reported your blog.Â
But more often than not, itâs just a tumblr glitch.Â
How to tell if your blog has been shadowbanned? And most of the things that happen during this state.
(These are the things that I personally went through. It might not be the same for everyone. Also, my main blog (@that-damn-girl) was shadowbanned. My side-blogs were fine. So in case your main blog is fine but your side blog is shadowbanned, you might have a different experience.)
(P.S. remember that commenting on a post and sending an ask are features reserved for the main blog only.)
