Iran's security forces are using lethal force against protesters nationwide, informed sources told Iran International, with preliminary esti
From the Iran International article above :
"Two eyewitnesses who visited Kahrizak in search of their loved ones told Iran International that they saw more than 400 bodies there."
From HRANA:
https://www.en-hrana.org/day-fourteen-of-protests-ongoing-demonstrations-internet-blackouts-and-drone-surveillance/
"By the fourteenth day, despite severe limitations on documenting and verifying information, the human and security dimensions of the protests have remained significant. As of this date, the deaths of 116 individuals in connection with the protests have been confirmed; among them, seven were under the age of 18. Additionally, four of the deceased, including medical personnel, were not among the protesters. Examination of the causes of death shows that most victims were killed by live ammunition or pellet gunfire, predominantly from close range. In contrast, 37 of those killed were members of military or security forces, and one was a prosecutor.
Regarding arrests, the total number of detainees by the end of the fourteenth day reached 2,638. "
From Kurdistan Human Rights Network, an article on the identification of one of the fallen, Roubina Aminian, and her family's struggle to secure her remains:
A Kurdish woman has been killed during anti-government protests in Tehran as the Islamic Republic’s military and security forces continue...
"According to an informed source, she was shot in the back with live ammunition near Shahid Beheshti University on Thursday evening, 8 January, and died at the scene. “When Rubina’s family went to identify her body at one of Tehran’s hospitals, they saw the bodies of many other protesters, mostly young people, who had been killed by government forces during the protests”, the source told KHRN."
From Iran International, a recap of Reza Pahlavi's call to the Iranian people:
Iranian Prince Reza Pahlavi on Saturday called on protesters to continue their street demonstrations for two more nights and seize city cent
From Iran International:
Iranian security forces fired tear gas and used pellet guns on Sunday against families attending funeral ceremonies at Tehran’s Behesht-e Za
This appears to be part of a pattern of behavior from the regime, who in all the articles I have gathered thus far, have intimidated families and withheld remains for purpose of preventing public funerals and mourning for them.
Iranians threatened by regime!!
From Iran International:
Nationwide protests in Iran stretched into their 13th consecutive day on Friday as demonstrators returned to the streets for a second night
"Tehran’s public prosecutor, Ali Salehi, said those accused of arson, destruction of public property or armed clashes with security forces would face charges of moharebeh, an offense that carries the death penalty under Iranian law."
From Iran International, news of regime drones flying over protest crowds:
The regime's digital blackout remains in effect:
⚠️ Update: #Iran's internet shutdown is entering its fourth day with connectivity to the outside world remains at just 1% of ordinary levels
Yet, despite the blackout, Iran International reports that large crowds continue to gather at night:
Please continue to advocate for Iranians in their struggle for freedom! The regime would silence their voices, and they get information to the outside at great risk to themselves.
Found a video on Bluesky of attacks during daytime.
@shirzan140102 It sounds like the crowd is saying "Javid Shah" at around the 11-12 second mark. Am I hearing correctly?
Iranians are bravely charging through walls of bullets and tear gas to reclaim their freedom. 👊🦁🇮🇷 #IranProtests #IranRevolution #20Dey #Fr
It's really hard to make out, but it kind of sounds like it.
I've noticed that people are more likely to chant when they're just able to gather and march peacefully and not caught up in the chaos of fighting against the regime. Still, it's possible that they were chanting it as they were fighting back.
Ok hear me out…

Bonus:
This was my pilot episode for Rock Bottom, my caveman BL! I finished this right before I completely burnt out last September and decided Rock Bottom was going on the back burner for a while until I could work on it again. They waited 30k years, they can wait a little longer 🥺
